Best Two Star Hotels in Tossa De Mar

This is a lovely small hotel located centrally in Tossa De Mar within a few yards of the bus station and shops bars and restaurants. I stayed for 4 nights and was very impressed with the overall experience. The hotel is very clean and modern with lovely rooms. I only paid around £40 per night which included a free breakfast that was superb with plenty of choice. You are only around a 10 minute flat walk to the sea front and old Town. Overall I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a real value for money stay

I would like to begin this review by saying that I have travelled all over the world and have stayed in all types of accomodation from mud huts to beautiful hotels. However, I have never in my life met a receptionist as rude as the older lady I met tonight in this hostal. My sister and I booked a twin room in this hostal for 12 nights. Everyone from the cleaning lady to the gentlemen at the reception desk have been absolutely lovely. My sister requested extra towels this evening and was told very rudely that wasn't available. I went down to reception to explain that we had been allowed to do this earlier in the week. The lady in reception spoke very rudely to me, told me this was a hostal not a hotel and proceeded to call someone with better English. I thought that I would be polite and smile and my reward was the receptionist making rude faces at me, mocking my smile. I can only equate it to something you might see in a school yard. She actually did this twice. I am absolutely speechless......... fine don't give me the towels but please don't rant about it and make faces at a guest. This is our last night thank goodness. I certainly don't want a repeat of tonight's episode. Before tonight's experience I would have given a much better review

Cosy, very comfortable apartment block "Miramar". Tossa de Mar, in the resort, in a central position, from the sea, 600 m from the beach. Public parking on the road. Supermarket, restaurant, bar, bakery 100 m, 2 minute walk to the centre, bus stop 100 m, railway station "Blanes" 15 km, sandy beach "Playa Tossa de Mar" 800 m. Golf course 15 km. Nearby attractions: Waterworld 11 km, Marineland 17 km, Jardín Botánico Marimurtra 13 km, Jardín Botánico Pinya de Rosa 11 km. The owner does not accept any youth groups. Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected. "Miramar", 3-room apartment 62 m2. Bright, practical furnishings: living/dining room with dining table and digital TV. Exit to the loggia. 2 double bedrooms, each room with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchenette (oven, 3 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. No heating option. Balcony furniture. Distant view of the sea, the mountains and the resort. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi). Please note: TV only ES. Super cute hostel, well located, friendly service, efficient cleaning, incredible views of the historic wall of Tossa, hearty breakfast. Ideal place to disconnect, at least during this time of year with few tourists. Be careful with access to the place, you can't get there by car, you can get there by walking, there are stairs on the way. But the route is quite easy. There is no elevator. I would definitely repeat this place.
