I am starting the second week of my stay at the Royal Hotel in Peraia, having decided after a somewhat difficult year to spend a fortnight on.my own. I have been to Greece many times, but not to central Macedonia. I did my 'due diligence , and the Royal Hotel was the only one that fulfilled all of my criteria. Over the years, primarily on business, I have stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world. The excellence of service and the value For money here, would be incredibly difficult to surpass. Regrettably the staff will have (DV) to endure me for another fortnight, next June .......

I was staying one night in Golden Star Hotel. I chose the Hotel because I had early flight in the morning and Hotel was 15minutes taxi drive from Thessaloniki airport and also near to sea. Hotel Staff was very friendly, rooms were modern and clean, air conditioner worked fine. Room was quite small but it didn’t Bother much because I was staying alone in the room. Lounge Bar downstairs and Beach Bar was very nice and comfortable. Hotel has own beach which is quite small though. Near to Hotel There was many restaurants and tourist souveniers shops. Overall Experience was Good.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Staff warm and friendly rooms bedding and towels super clean. No breakfast as too late in the season but coffee shops a minute walk away. Less than twenty steps to the beach with lots of tavernas and small shops. If I could make a suggestion it would be nice to have a kettle in the room with some cups to make a hot drink. We only stayed one night so we will return to spend more time at Avra Hotel and enjoy the super beachfront restaurants and bars. Thank you to the staff for your kindness.

The location of the hotel is very far from the center, but it may be a good choice for those who will use the airport. The hotel had a huge sound insulation problem. We had a hard time sleeping throughout the night. All the noise from the next room and the corridor was coming to our room. There was a constant sound coming from somewhere in the room. We guess it might be a refrigerator. Overall the room cleaning was good but I think the carpets need to be removed. The carpets were not clean, there was hair on them. The beds were comfortable but very squeaky. It was disturbing. Also, the stain on the duvet was unpleasant.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We found the breakfast sufficient and liked it.

The process requirements are in line with Hyatt's standards, and the counter operations are international high-standard professional reception services. There are no shortcomings! The most satisfying thing is the pick-up and drop-off service provided by the concierge. Not only a few days before arrival, the airport pick-up meeting point map and step-by-step graphic instructions were emailed, making the pick-up and drop-off service simple and convenient, and it is also free. It’s absolutely perfect!!

The staff at the hotel are first class. Very welcoming, approachable, professional and friendly. Always there when you need something. You could feel the strong bonds between the hotel staff, like a family. The panoramic view of Thessaloniki from the hotel is simple stunning and I was very much enthralled by it. You can see from the airport on the left, all the way over to the city centre on the right. And on a clear day you can see Mt. Olympus in the distance. The rooms were well furnished and the hotel was decorated for Greek Easter, with some unexpected Easter treats in the room when we arrived. I also loved the collection of team memorabilia, who have stayed in the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay again. In fact would visit Thessaloniki just to stay in the hotel again!

Best choice for a hostel in the center of Thessaloniki city, In my opinion is the cleanest rooms I ever been in this city.. This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and well-isolated. The only weak areas are the windows; sometimes it is noisy outside, which may be heard in the apartments. The cleanliness of the motel is satisfactory. The staff is courteous and helpful, and I believe the hotel is developing. Breakfast is varied, and while some of the cuisine is of high quality, not all is. I have been at this hotel in recent years (except in 2000, when it was closed during the summer), and it is now slightly better than in previous years. The price was quite decent for a five-star hotel, and I believe it is reasonable for the price.

GGuest UserRun away ! The hotel claims to be a 5 star but it is far from it. The customer is not considered as such at all. When we arrived with our suitcases around 4 p.m., there was a staff meeting at reception. We felt like we were intruding until a receptionist asked us for our passports and gave us the room key after several minutes of waiting. She tried to explain to us but the team meeting did not allow us to understand each other. The bathroom was clogged. We notified reception twice. The receptionists took our room number on a post it both times but nothing was offered to us and we had to take our showers by turning off the water several times to allow the water to drain away little by little. There was also water leaking out of the shower. The beds are twin beds so if you are a couple you are forced to sleep separately. The breakfast is industrial and after 2 days we no longer wanted to eat at the hotel. We also asked for a toothbrush at reception but there was none. In short, there is no customer service. The staff except the cleaning ladies are not Greek. The hotel is Russian. The coldness was felt very well. Fortunately, local life and restaurants 1km from the hotel are local. We were able to find dishes with fresh produce and the warmth and kindness of the Greeks. This is what made our stay enjoyable. If it were only the hotel and its staff we would have left on the first evening. There is a fee for the beach and there was a stray dog on the same beach and within the hotel grounds at the swimming pool. Clientele mainly from Serbia, Romania, Russia. In summary no customer service and cheap hotel
