Very spacious with a living room and associated small kitchen, sleeping room with very spacious beds, bathroom and terrace with ocean view. 2 TVs available. The hotel is located just over the ocean. This is how you can leave your car at the hotel and have the opportunity to try the Azorian wines. It was far from our best residence and breakfast of our 6 visiting islands (Sao Miguel,,Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial). We would have liked to stay there for a day, but our planning for inland flights and boat connections was not allowed, because there are not all the days. flight and boat connections with all islands (after Terceira, Graciosa). If we come back to the Azores, it's first Terceira, With Atlantida Mar. We stayed in a junior suite for just 2 nights on the 7th and 8th of June. Made use of the outdoor pool and hot tub. Very friendly reception. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large choice, including fresh fruit. The goods were constantly replenished. The hotel is located just above the ocean. In between there is a 'walking track' along which you reach the center of Praia after about 10 steps, including the O pescador restaurant. For example, you can leave your car at the hotel and you have the opportunity to taste the Azorian wines. It was by far our best stay and breakfast of our 6 islands visited (Sao miguel, Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial). Normally we would have liked to stay there one day longer, but our planning for the internal flights and boat connections did not allow this, as there are not all days flight and boat connections with all islands (after Terceira, Graciosa). If we ever come back to the Azores, it will be Terceira in the first place, with the Atlantida Mar.

The hotel is right in front of the beach and harbour. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They will give you towels for the beach if you ask A room with a sea and harbour view is worth paying the extra for. Breakfast is nice but the same every day. You can catch the bus to other areas of the island, which is easy and only a few euros. Only 10 minutes from the airport. You can get the bus for a euro or taxi for 10 euros. Restaurants and bars are close by. Managed to find some vegetarian food but not much. The local wine is nice and low priced. Little fridge in the room for cold drinks but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Very nice hotel, well-equipped with a beautiful pool and a clean garden. Taktic position because it is just a few steps from the center and the beach, with internal parking for the cars (if you come back late night you might find it full, but there is so much space in the street and the car is needed on these The staff is very friendly and willing to meet the client's demands. We were lucky for the apartment because we had a garden view, very quiet and at the first floor with balcony: spacious and clean (weather change possible even every day by wishing). Very recommended!

The Shipyard was a wonderful hotel for a family Stay. The design was contemporary and lovely. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in our group and it was perfect as us parents had the room and the kids stayed on a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The apartments were very well-equipped and spacious. I highly recommend this to a family looking for a place to stay in Terceira. The location was also lovely as it was close enough to the old part of the city and the port for all the water activities. Breakfast was lovely as well. They had a buffet for standard fare like fruit bread and other breakfast items, but you could order from a menu for eggs and coffee orders. Overall very complete solid breakfast offering. Added bonus was the covered underground parking.

Excelente localização, empreendimento reúne todas as condições para ser o melhor da ilha, contudo parece estar em contenção severa de recursos. A limpeza não abona nos quartos, é notório que fazem limpezas superficiais, quarto espaço no entanto o mini bar nada tem, produtos de higiene parecem misturados com água para render, os pequenos almoços são muito fracos, poucas opções, pouco cuidado, fraca qualidade, pouca comida. A piscina é de água gelada e o jacuzzi não é convidativo… hotel 5 estrelas que não deveria ter mais que 3 pelos serviços prestados, lamentável!

I was offered a 'quiet' room to the back as by receptions own admission front rooms were noisy due to cobblestone roads. The room was directly over aircon system, generating a constant hum even with windows closed. The bathroom is badly designed, with tight toilet situation. Despite rooms appearing available on booking websites, reception stated I could not move for first two nights. I was told I would be moved further along corridor. On my lateish return, I was then allocated a room to the street - even noisier than before. In addition, despite the manger originally claiming all bathroom designs were the same, this turned out to be inaccurate as the room I was moved to had a well-designed bathroom. Basically, I feel I was just messed around by reception, creating stress and spoiling the last days of the holiday and for the above reasons would not recommend.

Relatively small rooms where it can be a challenge to put away your luggage if on a long stay. Rooms by the road are noisy. Airco doesn’t work and it gets hot and humid on Terceira. Nice roof top bar but a few parasols for shade wouldn’t hurt. Good restaurant with a very sharply price menu of the day. Good location in the very center of Angra. Taxi stop right in front of the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located in Angra but with piss poor customer service. We contacted them ahead of time to warn them of our late check in and received no response. We arrived after midnight and called the hotel multiple times as taxis were sparse at the airport...no one answered. We arrived and received multiple comments that they hadn't expected 5 people despite the fact that this is clearly written on the reservation and the sofa beds/linens were not prepared. At 2 am we switched rooms for the clerk's Convenience as she had a crappier room with a sofa bed set up. Once we started to settle in we realized this room did not have a working lock and actually had to move all of our belongings AGAIN to another room. At Check out when asked about our experience we disclosed all of the above. They admitted the reservation included all of the information but we still were offered nothing except defensive excuses. The breakfast was below average with similarly crappy service. Will never stay here again.

Nice, modern hotel, and we had a very nice updated room with lovely views of the ocean and the Fort. Pretty good breakfast too. Free parking so you can walk about 10 minutes to get to the heart of the old town for shopping and restaurants. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only very small thing we didn’t love was that to get to our room on the 3rd floor we had to walk by the open door of the gym - typical gym smells emanating so wish they would have left the door to the gym closed. Other than that, a great stay!
