Really nice rooms up to high standard and SPOTLESSLY clean . Nice en-suite . Owners very welcoming and happy to help . Lounge and dining/ breakfast room nice to sit for a relaxing cider etc . Nice views of the loch opposite. Looking forward to breakfast in morning as all our other staff tell me the breakfast is very nice quality .

Beautiful B&B, very clean and comfortable, rooms were lovely (I had a single and my friend's had a double). The double was a decent size with a small seating area too. Breakfast was delicious and the staff working there were very friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, right on the banks of the loch. We stayed here for 1 night on our way to the port for the early ferry to Islay. We would definitely recommend this place.

Shelia and Bruce are perfect hosts. The hotel is tastefully decorated with lots of stunning local artists unique work. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and shower very effective. The breakfasts are delicious. When we asked about taxi's, they offered to take us into Tarbert for our meal. There is a lounge for the guests. There are views to the loch from the hotel. Ideal location for exploring Kintyre. The deer was munching their garden plants!!

From initial enquiry to being dropped off at ferry for Islay in the morning the whole experience was wonderful. Room was very clean, modern in decor and offered a large comfortable single bed, nearly 3/4 double size. The warm welcome from Bruce who offered to take me down to the ferry in morning was fantastic. Great views from the house out to sea and excellent car parking for my small truck.Would definitely come back and stay again.

New Owners have totally renovated this original hotel, now classy, clean, all new furnishings, new en-suite facilities. Loch views - Beautiful !! Bruce & Sheila have turned this lovely hotel into a gem with their expertise & professionalism. Breakfast Amazing 10/10 We live on Arran & needed overnight accommodation to catch the am ferry. Great location for Arran, Islay, Gigha & Tarbert Ferries.

Excellent night stay with very clean and well appointed room that is newly refurbished. Lovely staff and owners with a great breakfast. This accomodation is very close to the Islay ferry terminal at Kennacraig. Nice views over the Loch everything was great.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation which was clean and comfortable. However, I needed to leave at approx 7.15 to catch a ferry. Having pre paid in full before arrival I was told when I checked in that breakfast didn't start till 8am (7.30 weekdays), so the message was firmly "sorry no breakfast". There was no mention of this restriction when I called to book, no apology and no offer of a refund. Very disappointing.

Very good communication prior to our stay and a nice welcome when we arrived! We had a top room overlooking the Loch which was beautiful. Twin beds were comfy. It was lovely to sit in chairs and look out over Loch watching otters swimming about! Breakfast was excellent!

We spent a night during our trip through Scotland! The hotel is situated just in front of the Loch and offers a peaceful and comfy stay. Our family had the three rooms at the top floor and it seems to have located a complete apar**ent since they are saperated from the others by a door and a corridor. The breakfast was really good
