Hotels near Furui Machinami Museum Kiyoshi Yamashita Gengaten, Takayama

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

６ We used it at work in the month. The front desk was very helpful with kindly explaining the recommended store for dinner (drinker). The joint bath had time constraints, but I used it early in the morning. The washroom is a small bath with only ３ places, but when I used it, I was alone, so I was able to enter it relaxingly. Breakfast was a lunch box for corona convenience. Unfortunately, Bento and miso soup were not delicious, but they left most of them. The accommodation fee is cheap, and there are many taverns and ramen shops around, and I think it is a convenient inn.

Country Hotel Takayama is the perfect home away from home in Takayama, Gifu Japan.This hotel is located right across the Nohi Bus Terminal which is right beside to Takayama Train Station. When you get off from the bus, you will immediately see the building. Aside from their perfect location, this hotel also has a KONBINI (are Japanese convenience stores) Family Mart at the ground floor, open 24 hours. Morning markets, Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Old Town Street, Hida Kokubunji Temple and Nakabashi bridge are a few tourist location you can easily access by walking (10-15 minutes) from the hotel. I was here last February 24 to 26, 2020. The room is quite spacious for me, got a single room type but I think it can accommodate 2 people in it. I was able to booked it online through Agoda.com for Php 4,024.78, not bad! It has complete basic amenities you can find in a room including a comfy sleeping robe. Room is super clean and smells so good. Considering I wrongly booked the smoking type room. The only downside I had about the room was that the heater was broken. It was so hot inside, thanked God it was winter time so I just slightly opened my window. So cold breeze from the outside can get in. Overall, Country Hotel Takayama is HIGHLY RECOMMEND aside from their perfect location. Staff are very good, speaks English and really helpful and accommodating. Their Manager helped me booked a taxi who is going to picked me up at the highway on my route to Gujo Hachiman. Because taxis in Gujo Hachiman are booked a day before your arrival and they don’t speak English at all. And If you’re a Filipino, you are most likely going to bumped into one of our kababayan who is working on this hotel. So far, she’s the only Pinoy here and she speaks Bisaya, from Davao City. Ein sehr nettes Hotel, welches erst seit 1 Jahr in Betrieb ist, und in den Bergen liegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und modern eingerichtet. Dort waren wir für 2 Nächte während unserer Rundreise untergebracht. Das Frühstück war nach japanischer Art und wurde am tisch serviert, was natürlich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war, aber trotzdem sehr gut war.

Extremely well located if you want to be right next to the train station and bus station - my room overlooked the tracks. Provision of washing machine and dryer is a superb bonus inroom as are the full cooking facilities. The hotel intelligently provides basics such as oil, salt, coffee, tea and even a couple of detergent sachets for the washing. Strangelt though, no knives or other cutting implements of any kind. A tip if you intent to cook. The Family Mart opposite is basic, but there is a huge supermarket under the tracks and just beyond MacDonalds where you can get international food as well as Japanese. Slightly dreary corridors and a reception crowded with people waiting for their room to become available. But on the plus side they let me into my room early as I was unwell at the time.

A new hotel just built in front of Takayama station. It is a stay type hotel, but artists are decorated everywhere and fashionable. This time, Superior twin. The room itself is not particularly characteristic, but there is a sofa on the window side and it can be relaxed. This sofa is a bed, so you can stay for three people. Electric pots, empty refrigerators, washing dryers, microwave ovens, etc. are also complete. Recommended for long stay. The bathroom is small in the unit. Especially the toilet is small. There is a comfortable public bath, so I wanted to relax the toilet part only by shower. Amenities are only toothbrushes, and amenities are available on the first floor. Shaving, brush, tea bags such as tea and green tea, cosmetics, cotton swabs, cotton, etc. The public bath is also fashionable with designer specifications. There is also an open-air bath. You can enjoy two different design hot springs in the men and women replacement system. The atmosphere is like a public bath in a luxury inn. It doesn't seem to be in front of the station. There are also view lounges and foot baths on the top floor. Convenient location and recommended for sightseeing and business. The staff has a level difference depending on the person. Because it is a new hotel, is it possible?

Room was pretty spacious by Japanese standards. I enjoyed that they offered three private onsens that you could use at no additional cost with no reservation required. Free ice cream is available after your bath. There are hotels closer to JR Takayama Station but it’s still a reasonable walking distance.

The room is large, has separate bathroom (with washing machine) and toilet. It also has a small kitchen area. The beds are large and comfortable. The location is also walking distance from the main tourist areas. Highly recommended for family trips.

The hotel is newly furnished and quite modern inside. It feels dry and does not have the mildew smell like many other hotels in the area. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with a tea kettle, a small refrigerator and a TV set. Wifi is included and it works fast. The onsen is very clean and pleasant but quite small for the hotel of this size. The washers and dryers in common areas work very well and you can have your clothes washed and dried in 45 min which is quite convenient if you are traveling over several days. The Japanese style breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced at ¥880. There is plenty of parking in the front and a Family Mart right across the street. The staff is friendly and many staff members speak good English.

Yatsusankan is a traditional ryokan, well established in Hida. It’s located among narrow streets with picturesque Japanese style wooden buildings. Within walking distance of the JR station (they have a shuttle too) and shops. Our room was spacious and comfortable with its own bath. AC in the bedroom. Good wifi. Very clean and well stocked with toiletries, tea, coffee, and cold drinks. Meals are at set times and we enjoyed omikase and shabu shabu during our two night stay. We chose Japanese breakfast which was also delicious, although western style is also available. There’s a very nice communal bath, indoor and outdoor. One for men and one for women. The building has a long history so it’s worth looking around if you have time. Service is warm and attentive with guests being made to feel right at home. If you’re planning a visit to Hida or the area, then Yatsusankan would be a great choice to experience traditional ryokan with great service and a bit of history.
