The service is very good. I forgot my clothes in the room and they contacted us in time to deliver them to my home. The location is excellent, especially suitable for family travel. Also, the hotel is so beautiful, suitable for checking in. The price-performance ratio is also very high. With the room card, you can visit Chunyang Palace for free. In short, I will definitely stay here next time I go.

This is the best and value for money hotel I stayed in last 12 days trip from Beijing, Datong, Taiyuan, Pingyao, Xian. The room is nice, breakfast is good, hotel room even provide you with a washing machine in tge room with detergent free. Highly recommended and great for longer stay. Cheers

Very good hotel, the room is new and big. The breakfast is delicious! It is worthy of being a Hyatt hotel. The location is a little off, but the ground parking is convenient and free.

We stayed during the National Day holiday. The hotel is clean and tidy, with a large space and a good layout. The bed and bathroom are clean and comfortable. Snacks and souvenirs are provided. The service efficiency, awareness and work attitude of the service staff are very good, and we feel at home. The breakfast provided by the hotel is good, with the characteristics of Shanxi, a major noodle-making province, especially the hand-rolled noodles with soup, which are really excellent and the toppings are also delicious. The hotel is in the city center, not far from the Governor's Mansion and Food Street, suitable for a stroll. There are many restaurants in the nearby streets, as well as old shops such as Liuweizhai and Shuanghecheng.

I came to Taiyuan temporarily for one day and booked a reservation at the Shanxi Hotel next to Yingze Street. I was upgraded to a business floor with a relatively new decoration. It was clean and tidy. I was very satisfied.

The hotel is not bad. The lobby is quite large and has a light fragrance. I am satisfied [smile], the front desk staff! The service attitude is particularly good [strong]. Seeing that we brought our children here, they also introduced the hotel's May Day activities. I heard that there were pitching pots, ring tossing games, and cartoons. My children didn't want to leave [grin], and the breakfast was richer than the breakfasts in the hotels I stayed in before! Few hotels have rice noodles for breakfast. The taste is more delicious. I traveled to Taiyuan for 2 days on the weekend and booked Taiyuan Wanda Vista Hotel. The big brand is trustworthy. I booked a deluxe king-size bed room with breakfast. The hotel upgraded the superior deluxe king-size bed room for free, which made the stay more comfortable. The room environment was very clean. The hand sanitizer was the flavor I liked, with a light fragrance. The hotel has a wide variety of buffet breakfasts. I ordered 2 bowls of hand-rolled noodles, which tasted good! The emotional value of this stay was full, and I will come again next time.

Having lived in private residence at an overseas Pullman Hotel, this Pullman is different. Pros: - Very professional, presentable, helpful, prompt, and well spoken multi-lingual staff at reception and breakfast (staff member Ivo is exemplary of these qualities, also Zhao fengpei (gentlemen on the door who helped me with my bag and the car door), and the gentleman that was by the door at check-in who helped expedite the check-in process). - Comfy beds and pillows. - The softest and best bathrobes! - Yoga mat in the room in a nice touch Cons: - A general issue across most hotels is enforcing the non-smoking policy. Unfortunately there was a group of men smoking in the lobby (despite the non-smoking signs), one elevator smelled of cigarette smoke, the a/c seemed to recirculate this smell, and I had to change rooms the second day as the smell of old cigarette smoke was embedded into the pillows and you could smell it every time you walked into the room. Therefore it triggered my asthma. Although they were very busy, I was able to change rooms after the first night. - Unfortunately the executive lounge was not open and your only other option is the lobby. - No spa - Only one restaurant open at night and no room service - Is in need of more regular general maintenance Room for improvement: - While the lounge is unavailable it would be helpful to communicate this to your executive room guests when checking-in or on the booking website which it wasn’t. My husband had to prompt this conversation at check-in. But it was clear there was no set alternative, that is, just go to the lobby lounge and have what you like (no timing, no specifics). This led to confusion for the staff members in the lounge. To save time for staff and the customer, a simple bulleted list on an A4 sheet is what Kempinski do. Perhaps a note on the guests profile or the room number should suffice. - Slightly envious that the other reviewers were upgraded. We were supposed to be upgraded from the executive room for free as a platinum member but that never happened. However, it was good that Kelly offered the minibar, and some drinks and cakes at the lobby lounge as free. - Also, our first executive room 1710 was dark, windows were filthy, it was run down and had no Nespresso machine (compared to 1805 which was the same room type but a lot better).
