I've chosen a 4-point rating because I would like to be fair. The Estancia is not comparable to the other hotels we had booked in Latin America. It is a historical building in rural surroundings and they do not pretend to deliver more than a rustic accommodation, home-made food and either a bit of rest in a peaceful environment or a bit of action such as joining a ride out. The room was in fact basic but clean; the staff was lovely though a bit reserved due to the language barrier; the lounge and restaurant section was nicely furnished and inviting and while breakfast was average (except for the tasty cake) we enjoyed our dinner a lot: grilled cheese rolls wrapped in grape leaves as a starter and saltimbocca with pumpkin puree as a mains plus a bottle of Malbec... You will be a guest of a working farm and paying a visit to the horses, cows and lamas is a particular highlight. If horseriding is on your list you may want to stay longer than one night. For us one night was enough to get a little bit of estancia feeling...

The place is a MUST! The Estancia is fabulous! Typical north Argentinean decor, horse riding options, walks in the mountains. Dinner was superb and breakfast very good. It is my second tiime here and I will go bak!

Es un lugar muy hermoso, tanto por el paisaje imponente como por los interiores muy bien decorados. Estar ahí un par de días da muchas paz. Algo muy importante es la atención excelente de todo el personal del hotel. Siempre sonrientes y dispuestos. La cabalgata al Cerro El Pelao impresionante.lo más lindo de Tafi del Valle es esta estancia

Según leí la estancia pertenece a la misma familia hace 9 generaciones, pero inicialmente solo se dedicaba al tambo y la fábrica de quesos. Comenzaron con el turismo ofreciendo días de campo, y luego construyeron 10 habitaciones para alojarse, con un patio interno, buenas vistas de las montañas, un muy buen restaurante y una sala de lectura muy agradable. La habitación es amplia con buena vista, tiene TV, heladera y caja fuerte. No hay pava eléctrica para tomar un té o café. El baño también es amplio y cómodo. El desayuno es correcto, la cena fue muy buena pero se abona aparte. La atención y la limpieza es excelente. Wifi muy pobre. Estacionamiento descubierto sin cargo y se puede visitar el tambo y la fábrica de quesos desde afuera, mirando por un vidrio. El precio es algo elevado.

Esta estancia está ubicada a media hora de la villa de Tafi, hay que ir por un camino de ripio. La estancia cuenta además con una fábrica de quesos . Un tambo , podes ver a los animales … además te ofrecen cabalgatas . Es muy pintoresca y cómoda . Y lo mejor está en el medio de la los cerros

Está en un valle increíble y tiene muchos rincones para disfrutar del paisaje. Hermoso lugar, con mantenimiento impecable y muy buen restaurante. Comimos sorrentinos con manzana y de postre ambrosía criolla. Riquísimo y con una muy buena atención.

Comimos al aire libre un día hermoso, el restaurante también tiene galería y se puede comer adentro, pero estaba tan lindo que preferimos eso. Pedimos empanadas de carne y la picada de quesos M, la más completa. Nos encantó. Ahí mismo se pueden comprar hormas de queso para llevar. La atención fue buena.
