Hotels with Breakfast in Sorrento

The room faces the sea, the service is very thoughtful and trustworthy, especially the breakfast restaurant with a first-line sea view, authentic ingredients and updated dishes every day!

The Hotel Continental was the perfect hotel for our Sorrento-based portion of our vacation. Every single staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the concierge, to the breakfast staff, was kind, considerate, and pleasant. One of the gentlemen who works the breakfast was always singing and whistling, which always brought a smile to my face. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of options. I am gluten-free and dairy free, and they had plenty for me to eat. They had at least five different kinds of milk (regular, soy, almond, rice, etc…) and had a basket of assorted gluten-free muffins and bread. We booked an inside room with a hotel view, and I was nervous about what the room would be like. It was perfect! It was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Surprisingly, our room had a balcony, but it overlooked other hotel balconies. No problem since we were rarely in our room. The hotel is adjacent to a park which has an amazing view of the sunset. We did have cocktails on the rooftop bar one night, but they were a bit pricy compared to the area restaurants, so we only did that one night. The hotel is also within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and the steps to get to the marina, and you could walk to the train station if needed.

The hotel uses light colors from the exterior to the lobby and from the restaurant to the room, matched with the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea outside the window, which is quite dreamy.

What a sweet and unusual hotel in a busy little tourist city! From the staff that get to know your name on the first day, to helping with extra needs, we had the best customer care while at the Grand Hotel La Favorita. It's location is ideal, close to great dining and shopping and don't miss their sister restaurant a few blocks away! It's a hidden gem on the main walking/shopping street. It's like a magical garden with fantastic food and more great service. We did talk to a few others who said they get very crowded so dining earlier guarantees better service. Lastly, do'nt miss the rooftop bar with a beautiful sunset!

This hotel is located a few meters from Sorrento’s main street and square. Everything is within walking distance. Another plus is the hotel staff. They are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok for a 4* hotel with the advantage that you may eat outside. Pool is only 1.40 meters deep. But you can have a relaxing time there. We never had problems getting chairs. Our room was outside the main building near the pool (602). It was the right size for us three, very clean. We enjoyed the proximity to the pool. All in all, maybe one of the best options in Sorrento.

The hotel is wonderful. Large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms which combine a classic Italian style with a fresh and modern feel; delicious breakfast; beautiful and large pool; lovely quiet grounds. We liked that the sea-facing terrace and bar areas are reserved for hotel guests, meaning one can always get a table. Every member of staff we encountered was delightful - friendly, relaxed, helpful and welcoming, from Carmine at the property gates to all of the reception, concierge and restaurant teams. A great experience and we’ll certainly visit again. Grazie mille!

Although this isn’t a 5 star hotel, we are giving this hotel 5/5 as there were no complaints during our stay and we found the hotel to be great value for money. Our room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was fantastic. Breakfast had a good variety, although some strange options (green beans). The coffee unfortunately was a let down. The hotel has 1 large pool, a mini pool and a hot tub, all situated on different levels. The pools were never busy which was nice, and there wasn’t the culture of people leaving their towels on sunbeds all day. We treated ourselves to a couple of cocktails and glasses of wine on the rooftop bar, where there was either a woman singing or man playing the saxophone. All staff were friendly. A good location which is a 5 minute walk away from the centre of Sorrento.

We stayed here for one night in April 2023. Given some of the previous reviews we were more than pleasantly surprised. Our stay started well, the lady on reception (whose name we can’t remember) was extremely welcoming and helpful. We were upgraded to a road facing superior room which had been newly refurbished. It was lovely with a great bathroom. We were worried about the traffic noise but with the balcony doors closed it was fine. We would not recommend spending a long time on the balcony given the main road location but there is a pool area with plenty of outside space. The bar was very good and well run. The bar prices were competitive. The hotel is a ten to fifteen minute walk to Piazza Tasso. Located near the hotel is the excellent Banana Split Bar and Master Hosts Restaurant (don’t be put off by the name, we found the food really good and the prices reasonable). There is also a pub next to the hotel, but we did not try that. The breakfast is as others have said not a four star breakfast hence our score of four not five.

An amazing location to eat or drink with a sunset location! Although mid price, the service is exceptional, the food is fantastic and Sergio will recommend an excellent wine to accompany your meal. Once you've eaten you can recline on a sofa and watch the boats or night lights of Napoli in the distance. Worth every penny!

What can I say about this hotel other than it is magnificent. We stayed for our wedding and honeymoon with our two young daughters and I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be the right place for young children, however I was totally wrong. Every single member of staff went out of their way to speak to my children, entertain them and make us all welcome for the duration of our stay. I didn't get any names but the young man at breakfast who was particularly wonderful with them showing my daughter where she could find seashells as she's fascinated by them and letting them play with his water guns. They made pancakes for their breakfast every day and high-fived them all the time. The room has the most amazing view, was spotlessly cleaned all of the time even after 9 of us got ready for the wedding in there and it was left looking rather chaotic. The walk through the caves to the beach is stunning and the solarium is a lovely spot to swim and catch some sun. The restaurant food was sublime. My only slight issue was that we left early in the morning and had requested breakfast boxes twice before checking out but didn't get them, and the noise levels from weddings in the hotel late at night was problematic for us getting the girls to sleep or if we wanted an early night because we were up early the next day for a trip. I think that perhaps the area where events are held is very close to the guests rooms. My daughter cried when we left and has asked to be back at the ”holiday house” every night since. An absolute dream of a hotel and a huge thank you from us all.
