The room is very warm, clean and tidy, with complete facilities, including a microwave, a refrigerator, and the most indispensable kettle for Chinese people, with drinking water provided. It is the most satisfactory accommodation for me during my self-driving trip to the United States. The receptionist at the front desk was very enthusiastic and recommended good restaurants to us. I will stay at this hotel next time I come.

After arriving at the hotel, the front desk could not find an order for an hour to stay. The outside looks pretty good, but the room is very old, the air conditioning sounds so huge that our little heart can't stand it, so we have to turn it off. I stayed for a night and stayed for a long time, so I was too lazy to change rooms. Fortunately, the weather is not cold or hot, no air conditioning is OK. There are coin-operated self-service laundry and drying, it doesn't look very clean, but there is no clothes to wear. Not recommended!

The facilities are very good, the swimming pool is bigger than many American hotels, it is very clean, but the room has no microwave oven. Fortunately, there are many dining options in the casino. On the day of check-in, catch the buffet and buy one get one free.

Buellton is almost a crossroads only, leading to Solvang a more popular tourist destination. But a Marriott is there with a very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was a standard Marriott room with a small bathroom, two queen size beds and a nice view. It. Was clean and comfortable. Dining opportunities there were limited but we were given good advice by the desk clerk as to other opportunities in the area. Breakfast was plentiful with many options.

We stayed here in mid-November 2020 and I think that the hotel is doing a good job. closures/covid impacts: - The hot tub was closed - The breakfast was more limited than usual, but they did have some hot options like scrambled eggs & sausage. They also had juice, bagels & cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, & fruit. - No daily housekeeping so you leave your trash can in the hall if you want it taken out and you call the front desk if you need anything. Rooms are sanitized between guests. I didn't see a lot of trash in the hall given the situation. pros (aside from those found in other reviews): + While Solvang was super-crowded in town, the Hampton Inn Buellton was quiet and clean. + Guests mainly respected eachothers' space. + The pool was open and heated. We were the only ones to use it from what I could tell. + There are several outdoor sitting areas and 1-2 fire pits (fire pits were turned on at night) as well. These are great if you want to meet up with some friends or family and stay outside. You could definitely dine alfresco, just bring a jacket. It gets cold quickly. + There was a Firestone Brewery within a very short walk offering takeout or patio dining (with a fireplace). + The room was clean and spacious and had mini fridge & microwave + Free parking was plentiful. + coffee & cocoa available in the lobby (seemed like 24 hrs?)

I can't say enough about this gem in Buellton! My biggest compliment goes to the entire staff at Pea Soup Inn, all of them are friendly, accommodating and after our recent 6 day stay (family of 6 adults) there just aren't enough words to tell you what a deal this place is. Largest pool I've seen in the area, corn hole, putting green, hot tub, fireside tables to enjoy your favorite wine after a day of sightseeing. The best Danish in town served every a.m. with continental breakfast. There is also a small but nice laundry room which was a bonus because we arrived with 5 out of 6 soaked suitcases and had to dry all our clothes. Noise from other rooms? Meh ..... minimal and you'll find that at any hotel/motel, been coming to Solvang for 30 years.

We had tree shaded premium site for 7 nights. Nice. But closely packed. Quiet at night huge Rv place. When I had problem or questions I had to text ivy. AI maybe. Sends several event messages each day but responded to only half my requests. Communication hard after hours. Ivy most of time does not respond. Laundry under third party management tried to use machines took quarters but not working. Told to call number posted in laundry which of course won’t help at the time and if machines not working why does flying flags not care about laundry facility? We have disabled child and laundry a daily issue. we have stayed at their other locations had same communication problems.

Originally wanted to live in the Danish village, but later found that it was less than ten minutes away from the Danish village. The price difference was half. I got up in the morning and drove to the Danish village. I felt that it was good to live in Button. The steak near the hotel is not bad, you can ask the front desk for consultation.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWatching the stars at night is absolutely amazing.
QQianqianjunyeThe service staff in the restaurant were very warm and friendly, but the room service was not good. When I went to bed at night, I found stains on the sheets and called to ask for the sheets to be changed. The service staff came 10 minutes later and handed me the sheets and asked the guest to change them by himself. After looking at the stains , and said it was not a stain, but a trace of ironing. Breakfast was included in the room rate when booking. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk said there was no breakfast included, so we contacted Ctrip customer service. Ctrip customer service was very helpful. They promised us to pay in advance, passed the breakfast receipt, and refunded us quickly. , must like it👍
GGuest UserWe just finished our stay at Mirabelle Inn and loved it, From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the quaint hotel and staff made us feel special and welcomed. The rooms are amazing with a very comfortable bed. We highly recommend a room with a balcony to enjoy breakfast or an evening glass of wine. We had in room breakfast both ways and the omelette was the best I have ever had. Not only did the staff remember that it was our anniversary, but they also wished us a happy anniversary many times throughout our time here as well as at dinner. Dinner at Oak and Ivy was a delicious and fun experience in a Michelin-rated restaurant. We will definitely be back!
LLaura Perez Del ValleOutstanding! The room was big enough! Really nice decoration, the bathrooms have double sink and pretty cool shower, the bed was impeccable, perfect location and has a free overnight parking.
胡胡The quality of the hotel’s service is good and the environment is good. It is recommended that you pay the deposit in cash and return it on the spot when you check out in the morning. Breakfast is the general standard in the United States. There are everything you should have. You can make waffles and have fruits.
The one good thing about this hotel/motel was Julie who managed the front desk. She was helpful and cheerful. If not for her I would give this a zero. We came up to Solvang to get away for a few days and had looked at some of the reviews on this property and thought we would give it a try. First impression is that the outside looks nice and centrally located in Solvang. They also provide you with a continental breakfast across the street at Olsen’s bakery, it is very good. Now the bad. There is construction being done on one of the units in the front which was basically just across from where we stayed and it was a constant noise from 8 o’clock in the morning until 5 PM. This was not indicated when we were doing the reservation. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is no larger then a broom closet. we honestly could’ve put up with that but for the fact that the room smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while…so I kept the window or door open all the time to get fresh air. The water took 10 minutes to heat up in both shower and sink. Now for the bed…get new mattresses before someone sues you for an injury, yes that bad. I really wish I could have given them a better review but I’m way too old to lie about these things. Unless they redo the rooms, Find yourself another property to stay at. I can’t speak to the quality of the cottages, so that may ne their saving grace.
GGuest UserAbsolutely disappointed! We've stayed here before and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I can't say the same about this trip. Upon check in we were informed there would be no water at the property between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am due to some maintenance being done by the city, and this was last of a three night stretch this was occurring. This was not disclosed at the time of booking and I made the reservation on what would have been the first night of the outage. The girls at the check in desk were less than accommodating. I realize this isn't their fault, but I would expect more than an unsympathetic response of, ”We're not giving any kind of discount or accommodation, but we will allow you to cancel and seek reservations elsewhere,” knowing full well that was a joke being this area is a tourist destination that regularly sells out starting Thursday night for the weekend. Then we head for our room on the third floor and we find the elevator is out of service. No warning from the girls at the front desk, who actually directed us to the elevator. I'm not sure what happened since we last stayed here, but I doubt we'll ever see this place again. Not even an offer of bottled water to hold you over for the night. Horrible customer service! Unexpected things happen, but by the third night of the issue I would have expected management to communicate the issue to upcoming reservations. Immediately upon learning of the issue of 3 nights of no water, you would think emails would have gone out to guests scheduled to check in advising of the problem, allowing them to check for other lodging. The curt advisement of, “ You can cancel your reservation and seek lodging elsewhere,” as we were checking in just isn’t the way you win consumer loyalty or keep repeat customers.
ZZhangFirst of all, the self-driving No. 1 road must have a night in the Danish town, and secondly if it is a person who can really live in this hotel. The boss is a big bearded person, and it is a descendant of Viking. Hotel check-in is in another block, Ctrip will remind you to pay attention to the call. Eating breakfast is a voucher for a bakery. You choose the bread and drink you want in the store. I feel that the whole town is an economic whole. Everyone helps each other. Very, not American haha.
GGuest UserThe room was an okay size, furnished with a king bed (very hard mattress), two nightstands, a small desk and chair and a round table and two chairs. The furniture was rather beaten up. There was only a lamp on one of the nightstands. There was no phone (probably not important since everyone has a cell phone), no clock, very few wall plugs and no USB plugs. The wallpaper was torn. There was a great deal of ground in dirt on the door and door frame to the bathroom. The towels were very thin. The water, when first turned out came out an ugly brown. There was no smoke alarm in the room. There was a microwave and a fridge but the door to the freezer compartment was missing. These are things that might be overlooked at an inexpensive price but for $170 a night it was ridiculous. Solvang does tend to be expensive but for that price they need to do a lot of remodeling. For not much more you could stay somewhere much nicer. For breakfast they gave a voucher for a Danish pastry and coffee at a bakery across the street. If you tried to go there in the morning the wait was about an hour in line to get waited on. Even closer to noon, the line was 30 minutes long. Really not worth it.
