Hotels near South Gate - Angkor Thom, Siem Reap

We are booked into the hotel for four nights. The hotel is lovely with an attractive stairway as you enter the hotel. The reception staff were polite, helpful and pleasant. The swimming pool is lovely and good in size. There is a pool bar but services is slow and not very attentive to customers needs. The orchid restaurant serves a varied breakfast. The main restaurant serves lunch and dinner. The food in this restaurant is tasty but be vary as you may not always get what you ordered, e.g. you may be give large prawns instead of lobster that you ordered. The room size is very good. Getting to the main town is easy by tuk tuk and they are easily available.

Facilities: Super good. The whole hotel has only more than 30 rooms. There were quite a few staff at the time. The service was very good. During this period, we experienced problems with the TV and ordered food, and the problem was solved quickly. The only flaw is the gym, which is very small and almost non-existent. Hygiene: Cleaned very cleanly, polite and enthusiastic staff, and the swimming pool is very good. Service: Everyone is enthusiastic and friendly every day. There are various tours and activities to participate in, but the cost performance is not high. Breakfast is delicious. The breakfast menu will change every day for the three days we are there.

Quiet in the noisy, good service, and overall satisfaction. The room details are very good, and the decoration design is almost a bit relative to the price/performance ratio.

Amazing. Awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We came 3 hours early (during off tourist season) and they checked us in and took us to our room immediately. They gave us a free 15 min foot massage, which we added to our “happy hour 60 min massage” ($30USD).. it was heavenly. They had the most wonderful, helpful staff members anywhere you went in the hotel. The pool was beautiful and incredible. We went every day we were there. You get so much more for what you pay for in USD here. My mom and I felt like royalty!! Thank you so much Sokha Angkor Resort, you are the best!

I would like thank you FCC Angkor staff have a friendly service and they have a welcome drink and we got a free upgrade for the room the location very convenient and  walkable to local food and about 1 km to night Market

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

Our experience at Golden Temple Retreat was truly remarkable. The staff, notably Sopheak, exemplified exceptional hospitality, attentiveness, and patience, catering to our requests seamlessly. Convenient transportation arrangements, be it by car or tuktuk, were effortlessly organised through them, ensuring easy access to attractions which are mostly reached within 30 minutes. In terms of location, The Sarai's proximity to the main shopping and restaurant area is incredibly convenient. The short tuk tuk ride or 10-minute walk ensured that I had easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the city. Additionally, I would like to mention the excellent tuk tuk drivers that your hotel has partnered with. These local drivers were not only knowledgeable about their beautiful city, but they also provided exceptional service and were readily available to show me around. Their passion for Siem Reap was evident, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city with their guidance. My experience at The Sarai has been nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of exceptional service, top-notch amenities, and a dedicated staff has made my stay truly memorable. I am grateful for the outstanding hospitality and will not hesitate to recommend The Sarai to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Thank you once again for providing me with a remarkable experience.

We had the best time ever at The Embassy Angkor! The rooms are beautiful with the most comfy bed we had all vacation. The breakfast is delicious and the pool is so nice we could stay there for days. We were also very impressed with Rin, Lucky, Morning star and the rest of the staff who were always very kind and helpful. Overall highly recommended and we would love to come back

My best vacation in Siem Reap, the resort was very beautiful, swimming pool was big, nice room and very cleaned. The staffs are extremely friendly helpful and well knowledge, they helped me all the time I need. The breakfast is wonderful with many choices and restaurant's staffs are greetings me all the time. I hope I will return one day again, Great Memories!
