Had a super nice stay at sunlight garden with my 7 year old daughter. We chose this resort because we were looking for a place where it was not so crowded. Found it! Friendly, helpful and not pushy staff, and a nice a**osphere throughout the resort. Since it is not a huge resort, my daughter was able to walk around on her own. It felt safe and she enjoyed playing with other children in or around the pool, on the large slide or in the evening during the mini disco. Everyone knew each other at some point, so that felt safe. It was also nice that the entertainment only lasted until 10:00 PM because of the louder music. Rooms were cleaned every day, and food was fine. Beach very close. There is a shuttle but it was not necessary for us. 1 swimming pool with music, 1 swimming pool without. We really liked that as we like a bit more peace and quiet. Those who write a bad review should consider choosing a more expensive place to stay elsewhere from now on. There are undoubtedly resorts with even more entertainment/dining/more luxurious room choices, but for the money you get more than your money's worth. Clean towels every day if you want. Bath towel once per stay, €1 for a new one each time. Top location, due to the beach and old side, it is also a beautiful 20-minute walk along the beach. Otherwise you can also get there by taxi or van. In short, a nice cozy stay in a sunlight garden.

Rooms very spacious, staff are friendly, food is very nice. Got a tattoo on site the artist is lovely, his work is amazing and I love my tattoo!! Would recommend sunlight gardens to others. Some staff can speak several languages to interact with everyone

This hotel is fantastic for a get away...it is 3☆ so don't be expecting 5☆. What made it for us was how friendly the staff were. They could not do enough for us. The food is basic but enough to choose from! Shout out to Billy for ensuring our meal times were perfect...and also the the entertainment guy, Aykut! We were here this week so at start of season but still had a blast! I went with just my best friends but will be booking to take my teenage kids there! We got a tattoo whilst there and highly recommend! Very friendly and professional and shop is lovely and clean!!!! All in all, a perfect get away at a bargain price!

Don't be fooled by bad comments.. My second visit to Turkey I was a bit hesitant when I came to this hotel but my thoughts changed when I arrived, the hotel is in a great location and is as close as walking distance. 5 minutes by bus from Side to Manavgat 15 minutes is really a big plus for this bi hotel. The hotel is really good when it comes to the service of a small hotel 3 stars the clean food is delicious. According to the money I gave, the service I received is very good, the animation team does different shows in the evenings, they do different activities during the day They are good at their job, Mami, Azra, Jasmin thank you very much for all of them we had a good time with you and see you again next year Sunlight Garden..)

For the past year a friend of mine had hyped this place up after he visited previously, so i thought i would join him this time round. However my stay was not a pleasant one. Upon a midnight arrival we were taken to our rooms and the security guard turned the A/C unit on, to which it sounded louder than the plane that brought us to Turkey. Luckily i don't mind loud noises so this actually helped me sleep but my friend couldn't bare the sound. The next morning we woke up around 7am and a notice on our door read "guests please don't place towels on loungers before 8am or the staff will remove them" However, the majority of loungers were already full and none were removed and this was a mainstay for the remaining 6 days we were here. If you woke up after 8am you had no chance of a sun lounger even though 80% of them were unused for the full day but with towels on. The Efes on draught was as weak as P*ss and this was easily noticeable when you got a bottle from a proper bar. We could drink 20 glasses of this a day and wouldn't feel slightly tipsy (that's not an exaggeration). Breakfast i have to say was disgusting, the beans were as hard as apples and the sausages were more like hotdogs mixed with pepperoni. For the rest of the holiday at breakfast time i would just eat toast. Dinner was hit and miss. I'm quite fussy but most days they did have pizza, chips or nuggets so i basically lived of them. (The pizzas were not plain, so i had to peel toppings off) Tea time was a bit the same, i enjoyed one night and that was chicken skewers, but be warned you will que for them, a person infront of me took 6 skewers, absolute greed. You will also que for pizza etc or omelettes Entertainment - This was the biggest let down for me, an hours worth of entertainment each night, turkish night was ok, bingo night was awful 10 euro to play and win absolute garbage, karaoke night garbage (they actually used youtube to find the lyrical versions of the songs) i can't even recall what the other nights were. They had an half hour mini disco on for kids before the "main entertainment" i have to say the 2 girls azra and jasmin were excellent at this though and kept the kids happy and involved as many as possible. Staff - Staff seemed pleasant the majority of the time we were there, however they target bigger groups / take them drinks at tea time. Me and my mate had sat without a drink and were never offered one, infact each night we got our own, whilst the staff kept larger tables supplied by running backwards and forward to the bar. (probably in the hopes of getting a tip) So if you go as a large group expect them to make extra fuss over your table, if you go as a group of 2 or 3, dont expect much interaction. One of the guys who works in the shop on site actually called me a w*nker because he asked me to make him an offer on a pair of flip flops and clearly didn't like the price i offered. Azra, Mami, Jasmine, very good at their jobs. Very patient and took time to communicate and learn some BSL so they could communicate with the person we were supporting. They also took time to encourage the lady to participate in activities. Hotel needs some updates and a pool with disability access and some ramps. Bar staff and restaurant staff very nice and accommodating, very attentive and helpful. On site market has everything you need. We would highly recommend Sunlight garden. We had a lovely time and might be back again next year.

Food staff entertainment all amazing Kids club - azra and Jazmin amazing Mami the dj amazing and exercise in pool really good works you hard in pool Music all different This area it’s very good and we went to go side old town side, it was really good. I will came again next year.

I came here with my girlfriend, as our first holiday I would say it was one of the best. The food was excellent, the staff and the entertainment team make sure you always have a good time. The area the hotel is located in is near shops, super markets and stalls. The management at the hotel is one of the best we have experienced. The rooms and also the pool areas/ bar is clean and always stocked. Definitely returning next year 10/10 .

We booked a family holiday here for two weeks. This is a terrible hotel. They are serving out of date alcohol to unsuspecting guests. When I confronted staff about this nothing was done. Cocktails are not included in the all inclusive. Not that you’d want them with the alcohol being out of date. The food is disgusting. We had to eat out most of the time at extra cost. We asked HASAN the restaurant manager to make plain cheese pizza for our kids as they was making pizza but had olives and some kind of meat on it and was told no. No sliced bread to toast, kids food is repetitive and never changes. No chicken nuggets etc. Hasan likes to sit with his holiday girlfriends in the restaurant and doesn’t mind passionately kissing them and letting them feel his bum in the middle of a busy restaurant full of kids(this is not a 18plus resort). This is supposed to be a manager. Abdullah the main manager is not a nice person. He has no duty of care towards anyone and does not care if you are having difficulties. When I’m the resort. Our kids fell at the slides numerous times. I went to reception to get first aid. I was refused and no1 would check our kid over to make sure there was no broken bones etc. Abdullah also lies on the booking information it states a family room has a double twin single and two Sofia beds. This is not true it is a couch you get no Sofia bed. When I asked how it turned into a Sofia bed I was told with attitude that is does not and they will supply a zbed. Which is kept outside within the hallway/staircase. We have seen stray cats sleeping on said zbed and stinks of cat piss. This they think it ok for a child to sleep on. I complained to easyJet/barrhead travel about this. They phoned Abdullah and he lied saying yes there is sofa beds. I have a recording of the conversation I had with staff. When I was asking how to turn the couch into a sofa bed. They finally admitted it did not and was intact a couch. I had to record the conversation because the attitude and dismissive actions from the manager. Made me and my family feel ostracised. Not matts around slide area and metal stairs going to slides. When I asked for matts to be put down to stop kids from falling I was told no. The kids club is done by a woman that cannot speak English. A lot of parents was not happy about this as she could not communicate with the kids. Many parents witnessed this lady playing on her phone while kids was sitting with books. The shop keeper is good he ordered us takeaway pizza for our kids to eat as the food was that bad. We had to go to the supermarket to buy supplies to take to the restaurant with us. Sliced bread, mayo, chocolate spread etc. as the rest did not have this or it was disgusting. We have been to many 3star hotels all inclusive before and have enjoyed them. This is far from all inclusive and 3star. It seems staff are happy with you until you have a complaint. Then the attitude and demeanour change toward you. The phone in the room did not wor

Really lovely hotel big rooms always found sometging to eat and the staff are amazing we have had a wonderful stay, it is great for children, it has brilliant entertainment and will definitely be returning. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

What an amazing hotel. Brilliant stay for the last 10 nights. Hasan and all of the staff were great! The hotel is in a great location close to all of the shops, excellent entertainment every night. Food was good. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back in September!!

We have just returned from our holiday and i really don't know how to describe the experience. Upon arriving at 4.00am we were greeted by staff who took our bags to our rooms. In the rooms we were provided a large bottle of water and a plate of food which was needed after the travelling. We were in a family room, which was better than we expected, a large lounge area with fridge, air conditioning, television, a comfortable couch, and lots of storage space. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds, with extra pillows and a blanket (not required in the heat we experienced). The pools were very clean but it must be noted that they are not graduated so they are the same depth all the way round (approx 5ft) both pools have a baby pool which is great just to paddle in. The food was repetitive, but that's what an all-inclusive usually is, but that did not disappoint us in any way as it was so delicious. The drinks included in the all-inclusive are fruit juices, fizzy drinks, wines, and draft Effe. Cocktails are €6 (200TL).....the strawberry daiquiri is AMAZING. So are the bar staff. The entertainment was spot on, daytime pool games, to evening live shows. The entertainment team was friendly and kept us all busy, including keeping the children occupied. We used the on-site spa. It was such a relaxing experience at great prices as well. The basic package is enough to experience all the treatments. Also, the tattooists in the ground (Jeramiah and Joseph) were great. They listened to what we asked for and advised on ideas offering the best prices. They were so friendly, and we would definitely recommend anyone who fancies a tattoo to go and see them. We can not wait to go back again. Thank you, Hasan and Team.

Absolutely family orientated great entertainment and very good and helpful staff Lots to do in hotel kids club was great Foam party was awesome Bar staff Hasan was funny and made it feel like home for 2 weeks very helpful Over all that good of a trip booked again already
