Free unlimited alcohol at bar after 6 pm is totally beyond expectation. Room is quite big, with large size bathtub and separated toilet. Very quiet from my experience. The room I stayed does not have a window, not sure if it’s the common case. But I’m ok with that. The location should be considered as the major concern. It’s right beside the interchange of highway, so can be ideal for self-driving trips. However, for travelers by public transportation, you’ll have to use the local bus service, it can take quite a while to figure out how.(For anyone who may read this comment: if you depart from Shizuoka JR station, look for bus No.71 or No.27, and get off at Shizuoka IC stop , which is the closest stop from hotel) Generally I do enjoy the stay, and the nearby region has a lot of restaurants as well as convenient stores, will consider to come back if drive by next time.

The room overall looks very good and very tidy

The location is right after the interchange. It's within 30 minutes from both Shimizu Port and Nihon-daira, so it's very accessible. The Sawayaka Shizuoka Inter store, which I was looking for, was also a 3-minute walk away, so it was the best location for this trip. I was also very grateful for the permanent sauna. It was the Obon period, and there were foreign guests staying there, so it was almost full, but the sauna was almost never used and it was almost reserved for us. It's a pretty authentic sauna with aromatic water, you can do loyly freely, and it's outdoors, so I think it's the best sauna if you choose the right season. (I used it during the Obon period, so the cold bath was too warm and I couldn't fully relax.) The staff were very kind, and there were always staff on hand who were very conscious about customer service. I think the free drinks are a great way to differentiate the place. The all-you-can-drink craft beer was great. There was also all-you-can-drink lemon water and soft drinks, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely drink in the open space instead of having to drink in my room. I think it's very good considering the cost performance.

You cannot cancel in the event of a natural disaster such as a typhoon. Cancellation requests made several days in advance are not accepted. Telephone response is terrible, with no customer-oriented attitude. You cannot even cancel breakfast in advance for a plan that includes breakfast, the service attitude is terrible. They don't even take into consideration natural disasters such as typhoons, or situations where transportation to visit is cut off in the first place. This is a facility where I cannot recommend booking at all. They have a one-sided attitude that assumes that customers make reservations after understanding the cancellation policy, and they do not take into consideration the impact of natural disasters etc. We contacted them after understanding the precautions, but they went unheeded. They unilaterally urged us to check the precautions.

The sauna was great and the breakfast was delicious! The owner was so kind and the unlimited drinks were great too!

This hotel is very suitable for self-driving travel.
