I was frustrated because the time to leave the Shinkansen was approaching. It takes too long for one person. Very close hotel from Shimonoseki Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. The price of the original 々 is also cheap, but we were able to stay at a low price in the Go To Travel campaign. Stayed in my wife and twin in February. 7 ｰ 8 minutes walk from the station, but the surroundings felt far away as a galan. The front desk staff was friendly and polite. The public bath is difficult and new and beautiful, but there is no view. The restaurant was in the back of the front desk and it was good to be a free drink lounge including alcohol in the evening. There were various soft drinks such as wine, shochu, plum sake, whiskey, etc. The tweezers were small bags of several cm angles, but the free drink lounge was good for a long time from 17:00 to 21:00. Breakfast was good as a business hotel with a Viking for gloves, basic Japanese style and tile soba. There is no check-out. I only get out as it is because I pay in advance without returning the key. I thought it was a super eco operation.

This is pribably the best hotel in mojiko, beautiful rooms and good location. Guests for the better rooms have access to the lounge providing drinks and snacks throughout afternoon and evening. However the premier deluxe room that we booked has a split level between the toilet and the bed areas. This is unsuitable and unsafe for people with handicap and elderly couple like us. We had no choice but to ask for downgrading to a normal room. A great disappointment. However, we have to thank their staff for making an effort to relay our hearing aid which we left in the hotel in Hakata. They made sure that we received the ear piece in Kobe. We are very grateful.

I went to Kitakyushu for a family trip and stayed at Rihga royal hotel Fukuoka, which is located near Kokura station, the center of Kitakyushu. First of all, the location is very good. It's close to Kokura station and there are shopping centers, downtown, shopping streets, and Kokura castle nearby. Since it's near Kokura station, it's easy to get to other areas nearby, such as Fukuoka and Moji port. The hotel is a large hotel with high floors that are very noticeable in the neighborhood and seems to be the best hotel near Kokura for banquet halls, buffets, etc. It has an overall older feel than the newer hotels these days, but in a good way, it's classic and the rooms are relatively larger than the newer hotels. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, so it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is also doing a good job of maintaining the characteristic Japanese friendliness and attentiveness. The in-room amenities are also good. The hotel breakfast is also excellent for the price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kitakyushu.

We stayed 1-night in a 3-bedder while exploring North-East Kyushu area. Very friendly front desk staff and they were efficient and fast checking us in to to our room. To our surprise, we were provided with complimentary breakfast and also free-flow welcome drinks. Excellent end to the day after driving hours in the heavy downpour. Room was of good size for 3 adults and even space to lay out our luggage. WiFi was good and we had free car park throughout the stay. Beds were comfy with choice of pillows. Separate wash area outside the bathroom which was useful with 3 people in the room. Breakfast saw a good spread of local fare and it was sumptuous and must say the best hotel breakfast spread throughout our 2-weeks Kyushu road trip.
