The hotel is a pleasant place to stay, with its nice architecture and design. However, the lighting in the rooms could be improved as it is not sufficient. Despite this, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes up for some of the shortcomings. It's a pity that there is no gym available, but the hotel does offer yoga classes, which is a good alternative for those looking to stay active during their stay. Unfortunately, coffee, tea, and other beverages are not readily available in the vicinity of the hotel, which might be a slight inconvenience for guests who prefer to have these options closer at hand.

Generally good. Hotel signage wasn’t obvious so e-hailing driver had difficulty finding the entrance.

Nothing to complain about. Loved everything there—from the ambiance and room design to the comfort of the bed, cleanliness, and even the breakfast! **Do remember to drop into their sound bath class. They also provide FREE porridge for guests from 9:30pm - 11pm, FREE laundry service (plus point✅). I was very surprised to find such a serene place in the middle of a bustling city like Shanghai🇨🇳.

The hotel was overall very clean and pleasant. The food and desserts were beautifully presented and delicious. It had a zen-inspired style, creating a peaceful and meditative atmosphere.

I like the hotel zen style, quite unique in this area in Shanghai. Room is clean and quiet, the front desk staff is also polite and helpful, especially Nannan (楠楠), she is quite informative and helps me settle delivery stuff :)

The front office staff are friendly and courteous. The hotel compound has nice and beautiful landscape. Room is spacious and we enjoyed the breakfast with wide variety of food.

Its quite difficult to find the entry when you arrive from the nearby subway stations, and once inside, you get surprised to find such a place in Shanghai downtown. The room was clean and perfect, and the installation seems to be quite okay. I did not tried the breakfast, but I guess it should be fine. The only but for this hotel is the location, about 10 minutes walk from any subway station.

Very very aesthetic, quiet and zen place right in Shanghai! The rooms are so aesthetically nice and zen. Sometimes it can be hard to find quiet or character in the city but this is great. It’s not right at the heart of the city, but most things are within a 20 minute drive. Alas there’s no swimming pool even though it’s advertised to have one which was a shame.
