Although the price quite low for a hotel in Shanghai, the standard was not the best. It was meant to be a double room but was far too small for more than 1 person and the bathroom was very old looking and small. The positives was that he was near a subway station and within a short distance of bars and restaurants. Having said that I think you could have better value for just a little more money.
