Location is good the price is cheap .

I really don’t feel anything on this one, their routine work don’t give you any warm feeling. No bad, but obviously no good enough on my return list

Nicer inside from the outside. Room maintenance level is is poor. I didn't feel like I was in a clean place. But yes a place I will book again.

The staff at the Gate was friendly. But unfortunately its location is far from Florence, it’s actually in Plato. You have to travel for 40 mins to get there. The hotel doesn’t help with hiring an Uber/ taxi for u when stranded to get there. This was scary as we got a lift from a stranger to the hotel. Food was good.

Nice location and breakfast But Room for 4 design is weird and creepy. Also bit dirty

Average hotel, okay breakfast

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star, more suitable for a 3 star. The room is quite good but there is a lift (not 4 star), corridor floor with noticeable stains on the 7th floor. Good breakfast. Convenient location only if you are on the motorway..

It fully proves that being greedy for cheap will not end well! If you want to experience the interrogation room style of the Cold War era, with its remote location, dark decoration, old facilities, and stained walls, come here to experience it! There are no public transportation, public facilities, restaurants, or supermarkets around! A taxi to the center of Florence costs just over 60 euros each way! I advise you to spend more money and live in the center of Florence!

Everything is fine, but not perfect, structure quite worn, needs renovation

The hotel is relatively old and the lighting is very dim. The hotel is very big, so staying alone at night is a bit scary. There is almost nothing to eat for breakfast, and there are a few breakfast options that are freshly cooked.

Very friendly staff whether at reception or in the restaurant, the hotel is very good!

Ideal for spending a weekend in Florence, it is not in the center but very convenient for getting there by public transport. We left the car at the airport and entered the center by tram. Perfect
