Hotels near La Floret, Sanya

We came to this hotel with my family. So I booked 2 rooms. The room on the first floor near the swimming pool was quite nice. But the second floor where my mom slept was a bit oldish. The air conditioning was leaking and all drops got down to the bed. So I have to move my mom’s bed a little bit away from the AC. In total it’s great located hotel near the beach. You have to try it, but not more than one week 

I never write reviews unless I am amazed or almost outrageous. This hotel really amazed me. It can be said to be a homestay, but the environment is really incomparable to some big hotels. The road is a bit round. I thought I was wrong at first, but after opening the door, it was another paradise. The air conditioner in the super large lobby was ice-cold, and there was music in the lobby. I felt that the environment was particularly good. The little beauty at the front desk and the little handsome boy at night were also quite enthusiastic. The swimming pool was particularly large. The atmosphere was very full when the lights were turned on at night. It was particularly soft and comfortable. The room I booked was on the second floor. I couldn't open the door and jump directly into the swimming pool. The room was full at the time. There was no way to change to the room on the first floor where I could jump into the swimming pool. It was also a pity! The overall experience was very good, and there was nothing to say about hygiene. They were all relatively new, and the bedding was also very comfortable. It was equipped with 4 pillows, both soft and hard, which was very human! When checking out, I would make a small greeting. The bye-bye and safe journey at the front desk really made me linger! Very careful and warm-hearted, really good!

The boss was really nice. Because it was off-season, he let us move in early and put our luggage there. He also gave us an extra quilt. The quilt core was super clean, not yellowed like other hotels. The room was also very tidy and the furnishings were all new. Opposite the hotel is Wuzhizhou Island. You can surf downstairs. You can see the magnificent sea at a glance. Next door is the police station, so you feel very safe. You can also watch the sunrise from the balcony. Cars cannot be driven in, but you can contact the hotel in advance to send a car to pick you up. It's very convenient. In short, I had a very pleasant stay this time.

TLDR: Had really high expectations when I booked this 5 diamond hotel, however the stay experience fell short from the expectations. The Good: + Was offered room upgrade to sea view room during checked in. + Interior and exterior design of the hotel is really sets a relaxing tone to the entire stay. + It was a nice touch having Bellboys to help us with luggage and open doors whenever we arrive at the hotel lobby + Staffs and cleaners greeted us was also a nice touch + Breakfast options are extensive (including fresh juice bar and daily special juice concoction) + Free hotel activities to do daily + Gym is well maintained and a good number of machines The Bad - (Presales) Didn’t appreciate the fact that the booking page didn’t state the hotel deposit amount (which is slightly more than 1 time the hotel room price) and was only mentioned during check-in. Prior the trip, I tried to ask about whether there’s any hotel deposit via Trip.com message to hotel function and there’s no reply at all. (I mean a 3 diamond star hotel I stayed previous replied… but a 5 diamond star hotel didn’t). - (Not controllable) Sadly, there’s construction going on and can see cranes and construction machinery hindering the view of the sea, as well as the noises. - There’s supposedly a butler assigned to each guest, but my butler only added me on WeChat several hours after checkin. Also, was asking the butler about one of the afternoon hotel was still going on as we reached the venue and there’s no one around. He said he will check and then no reply for 20mins before I messaged him to inform that we won’t be waiting anymore. Didn’t appreciate that there’s no follow up. - The shower control knob will suddenly fall off at certain angle which can be rather dangerous given that it has quite a weight to it. - The bathtub’s shower head keeps leaking when we turned the other tap on to fill the bathtub, and we had to put the shower head into the bathtub to prevent flooding. All in all, it fell short on expectations in terms of the service compared to the service my partner and I had experienced in a 3 diamond star hotel at a fraction of this hotel’s price. Nonetheless, it is really a gorgeous place to stay in. Tastefully decorated and smell really great. Most of the staffs are friendly.

The hotel is situated in a very touristy area. Many Russian-speaking tourists. There is a mall by the hotel and a food court area across the street, the beach is within walking distance. The room was clean it came with basic amenities, I would take an extension lead to charge multiple devices. The elevators are very slow and if you want to relax by the pool and find a place to sit you need to go early as the seats get taken fast. The gym area has enough equipment to get the job done. Check-in and check-out were very fast, we had no problems. If you cannot speak Chinese they will translate. There were a few rude entitled tourists. Be courteous and respectful to the workers and people trying to help, and make an effort to use their language either via a translation app or learn a few words. You will see the instant appreciation and respect for trying. If you go to the front of the pineapple and walk left for about 5/10min you can find some Western restaurants called the Dolphin, Little India and an Italian place. If you want coffee early in the morning there is a Starbucks on that same road that opens at 7:00 am. Overall it was a good stay for a business trip with no issues.

Stay at dadonghai hotel was excellent, especially we enjoyed the view from balcony and access to beach nearby. Our room was spacious as my child enjoyed playing here and there. The location is also convenient to reach any destination around sanya. The only thing that hotel lacks is English speaking staffs at front desk, but again they were helpful in many ways. Will surely stay here if we come to sanya again.

I was very satisfied with the location, facilities, and service of this hotel. The Daedonghae, which is connected to the hotel by a rainbow bridge, is blue and the sand is very soft. The hotel's swimming pool is located on the 3rd and 9th floors, especially the view from the swimming pool on the 9th floor is wonderful. I was able to stay comfortable thanks to Mr. Jim, who took care of us carefully. If I go to Sanya next time, I will stay at this hotel again.

We were guests in this hotel for the third time. We were left with wonderful impressions and that is why we chose it again. And we are delighted again! The hotel is in a wonderful location, Dadonghai Bay. It has its own territory with swimming pools. The breakfast was for every taste. Varied and delicious! On the territory of the hotel there are several restaurants, shops, children's club, etc. The service staff is at an excellent level. My personally thanks to Vanessa! We loved this room, we got the bay side view and having the bathtub on the balcony was just the loveliest. The room was turned down everyday and left spotless for when we got back. The location is nice and close to the marina if you want to take a boat tour. The only thing I would critique is the breakfast in the morning, there wasn’t that many options and it didn’t feel like the best quality, we ended up only going once for breakfast. But overall we really enjoyed the hotel I just wouldn’t recommend getting the breakfast.

I am super picky about hotel selection. I say this hotel was excellent for the buck I paid for, the view, the service, the breakfast, the staff; they tried their best to accommodate to meet my need. Some staff spoke English, just enough to communicate about essential needs. The entire hotel is smoke free facility, though I guess they couldn't police every room. The first room they provided me stung with cigarette smell. I asked to change the room and they immediately changed the room. The new room didn't have any odor and my stay was perfect afterwards. The bed was comfortable and house cleaning was good. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very attentive. I'll definitely stay here again if I am visiting Sanya.
