Beautiful villa with very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend families to choose this place as the villas/hotels with the famous view do not allow young children to stay. Quite a short walk to the famous blue domes though.

The hotel’s owner give us lots of things and hot hub is comfortable . We love it !!

Our recent holiday to Santorini may not have had the sunny skies every day but one thing it did have is the wonderful Sole D’oro Luxury Suites. The owners Lpjuka and Yannis, and all of the staff, are just amazing, very friendly and always on hand if you need anything. The room was immaculate, all rooms come with a private hot tub too, ours was located on a upper area overlooking towards Oia and the famous sunsets. The welcome drinks on arrival and a bottle of wine was a very nice touch too.  The bathroom and shower area n the rooms are large and accommodating with daily housekeeping to clean and replace towels. Beach towels and bath robes are also provided and changed daily if used. Lots of space to store suitcases and a fridge and safe are also part of the room.  Breakfast is served to your room or in the bar area (you can even have a floating tray to eat in the hot tub if you want!) and the selection of fresh pastries, fruit, bread, meats and yoghurt were tasty and plentiful.     The location is absolutely perfect, approximately a 5-10 minute walk right into the centre of Oia itself and therefore within walking distance of many restaurants. A local supermarket is literally next door. Also really accessible to get local buses from (bus stop literally just down the road from hotel!)  and we were able to explore all of the island using this service without hiring a car, all keeping a great base in Oia. The start of the Oia-Fira hike also starts opposite the hotel and this is a must-do - it is a 6 mile mountainous steep terrain walk though so do bare this in mind!  The hospitality knows no bounds at this hotel and all staff are a credit to the ongoing success, all these five star reviews can’t be wrong! It was a shame about the weather but hey, no one can guarantee that and we still had an amazing time and had the best accommodation. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and wouldn’t hesitate to return if visiting Santorini again.

Our two day stay in Santorini had less than ideal weather but Yannis and the staff more than made up for it with hospitality.  He ordered takeout gyros for us the first night and was there bright and early the next day serving us mimosas (best we’ve ever had) and attending to whatever needs we had.  The villa was spacious and extremely practical - even a giant shower and makeup area for my wife.  Would stay here again for sure, even if it doesn’t have the views that the other hotels have in Oia. Great value all in all.  Thank you Yannis and friends!

Just returned home from a 1 week stay at the beautiful Sole Doro, Oia. First time in Santorini and we loved it.  But the best part of the trip was the wonderful staff and stunning suite at The Sole Doro. They treated us like family. 5 star service.
