I am a travel agent in the UK and Santorini has always been on my bucket list. I chose the Meltemi suites as I like small and friendly properties. On arrival at the hotel we were welcomed by the lovely Gianna & Panos who immediately made us feel at home. The hotel is very traditional and rustic, I actually thought I was in the Mamma Mia Movie! The property and the rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the property is a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants of Perissa. Gianna and Panos were always on hand to give us advice on the local area and the best places to visit! I can’t wait to go back again next year!!

Immaculate, friendly, beautiful! Clean, spacious rooms. Private roof top whirlpool and terrace with amazing views. Perfect to watch the sunrise around the headland. Excellent location. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Yanna and Panos could not do enough for you. Anything asked for was provided! So so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Provided gluten free breakfast. Fantastic holiday!

Meltemi Suites is a fantastic hotel with tremendous hosts in Yanna and Panos. Rooms are great and the location for both the beach and the main drag is great. Nothing too much trouble. Whirlpool was private on balcony and swimming pool is lovely. Highly recommended

Booked Meltemi Suites as our belated honeymoon and it was everything expected and more! Yanna & Panos the kindest hosts ever, really looked after us very attentive and kind! Felt like our little Santorini family. Beds were super comfy slept so well, air con amazing in this heat it’s well needed! Cleaned rooms everyday, whirlpool was also lovely, pool area very relaxing too. Breakfast- lovely too! Overall such a lovely, peaceful place to stay in Perissa and we will be back in the future!

Had the most fabulous week, the staff, panos and yanna, we’re amazing, very helpful and polite, I’ve been to Greece many times, but never had a hoilday like, this one , the hotel is so cute and beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere, the staff go above and beyond to please, we loved it so very much, we are returning in 2 weeks, fabulous definitely 5star service

Just spent a week in this lovely hotel. Small hotel with massive heart and charm. Yannas and Panos took great care of us and all the guests are like one family. Can't wait to return next year and will stay longer next time. Will treasure our memories of this gem of a hotel.

What a truly amazing place, this was our 2nd visit the last time being in 2010, the suites have hardly changed one bit, Gianna & Panos are both amazing, they can’t do enough for you and are always on hand for a chat and a smile, they really do make your holiday special. We had room 12 which has a massive terrace/balcony and a whirlpool which was great to cool down, although we went around the pool most day, no getting up at the crack of dawn to put your towels down, we always found a couple of sun beds no matter what time of day, there was a lack of umbrellas our first couple of days, I mentioned this to Gianna and the next day 2 more arrived (you only need to ask), pool towels are provided even to take to the beach. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am and is really good and more than adequate. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, also the bed sheets and towels are also changed daily which personally i think it is to much and should be maybe 3 times a week, the cleaning staff do a very high standard and don’t miss a thing everywhere they go, the whole place is spotless👏🏻.a big thanks to them. Being a small hotel of 16 rooms we found that all guests seem to be very friendly and chatty, met some really nice friends whilst we was there, big shout out to Graham and Kay who we met in 2010, Rich and Wendy. Our favourite restaurant was Ntomatini on the front which is also next to a really good tasty Indian, we ate at other restaurants but none was as good. We used to go into Dorian’s bar just up the road which was really friendly and cheapish drinks and cocktails, keep away from Bobs bar across from Dorian’s, the owner is very inappropriate. We will definitely return in a couple of years.

Lovely hotel, very relaxing and friendly . Yana and Tanos could not be more helpful, we had no issues with pool area as some go out to beach or on trips so always space l. Rooms are clesned thoroughly every day. All the other guests were also lovely and friendly, we had a great time and would definitely return. Perissa is a great place to stay if you are looking for a quieter holiday.

Had an amazing stay the hotel is spotless all the staff are helpful and friendly we have high praise for this small boutiquee hotel and would definitely return . We had a great time here, the staff are so helpful and go above and beyond to help you, the rooms are very clean. The grounds are lovely, well maintained. The breakfast is just what we needed to start our day with breakfast cooked freshly each morning. I would love to visit this location again in the future.

I had an amazing trip at the Meltemi Suites with my mum and sister. Yanna and Panos were amazing hosts, always friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, and the cleaning staff were also so friendly and approachable. The pool area was so relaxing , as well as the beautiful terrace area and hot tub areas. The breakfast selection was always fresh and delicious. The hotel is in a great location- just a ten minute walk from the beach and great bars/restaurants. We had such a lovely holiday- and could not recommend Meltemi Suites more if you are staying in Santorini.

We have just gotten back from a lovely week at meltemi suites. The hotel was lovely and clean. The hotel staff were amazing and very lovely, always willing to help! We had family also staying in Santorini and the staff were so welcoming to them coming to visit at our hotel. The staff helped with everything we asked for from trips to hotels. We stayed here for one week. The apartments are described as "luxury suites" however I wouldn't describe them as luxury. Our room (no. 6) was ground floor with a patio area consisting of a small table & 2 chairs to sit at with a glass of wine in the evening. Walking in to the apartment you see a kitchenette on the left, which was a 2 ringed hob, a sink, a fridge, one saucepan, 2 medium plates, 2 mugs and a few bits of cutlery. Next is the bathroom which had sink toilet & shower. It was very dark in the shower as one light was not working. There is a hairdryer on the wall, circa 1980 style which was useless. There is a window in the bathroom which opens on to next door's patio, which was not ideal, no privacy for us or next door. Next to the bathroom is a corner wardrobe with a number of hangers and one shelf. There are bedside tables for a little more storage. While the decor was nice, there are a number of areas that could be modernised and improved on to make it more "luxurious". This is the only thing that lets them down. The staff, Yanna & Panos were wonderful, they looked after everyone so well. The cleaning staff were lovely, and our room was cleaned daily, and fresh bedding and towels provided. The breakfast was good, a selection of fruits, Greek yoghurt, continental selection of meets, cheese & stuffed vine leaves. Cooked breakfast consisted of eggs cooked to your choice (except poached) bacon and sausage. Tea, coffee & juices. It was very pleasant to have breakfast by the pool under cover from the hot sun (in the 30's when we were there) The sun beds are heavy steamer beds which have seen better days. There are a few around the pool, then an area up a few steps where there are 2 more, but no shade. On the other side of the pool upstairs there is a few beds again no shade, and a jacuzzi. There is a supermarket just a few minutes away where you can get your supply of water you'll need for making a cuppa as the tap water is undrinkable. There are plenty of places to go & eat & drink in walking distance, either on the beach front or the Main Street with plenty of choice. A great location for seeing the sun rise, buses are every 20 mins and €2.20 if you want to get around the island and get to see the amazing sunsets too. It is so easy to get to see all of the island. You can also hire a car, or quad bikes, e-bikes or mopeds which all seemed very popular. Perissa is a great place to stay, it has a relaxed, chilled vibe and the people are so friendly. We were glad we chose here rather than the busier areas on the island such as Oia & Fira which are beautiful to visit but quite opulent and over priced. Al in all we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 2 weeks after our previous travel plans had to be put on hold and we had asked a local travel agent for a fairly late booking. This turned out to be very lucky for us as we found our stay here to be an ideal mixture of relaxation in lovely surroundings combined with plenty of activities around the island. The hotel consists of 16 studios/suites - 4 have whirlpools on their terraces / balconies; some of the others have shallow plunge pools to relax in as the temperature rises. We stayed in a suite with private terrace with whirlpool (No 13). Numbers 12 and 13 seem to be the most private. Our room had a four poster bed, seating area, kitchenette area and bathroom. The fridge had a freezer compartment which was ideal for making ice and rapid chilling of drinks. Our terrace had a bistro table with 2 chairs, 2 sun loungers and the whirlpool. The suite was reached via a private stairway and looked out over a carpet of bougainvillea and jasmine. we were very comfortable here and the room was kept scrupulously clean with fresh towels and bed linen daily - thanks to Zacharoula and her daughter who were also lovely and engaging. The pools and whirlpools were maintained daily. Apart from the fridge and sink, the kitchen area had a couple of pans, 2 hotplates, cutlery and corkscrew/bottle opener, plates, dishes, wine glasses and tumblers. We had seen that there were no "cooking knives" provided from another review so took a bread knife and 2 prep knives. The hosts were Yianna and Panos who were really friendly and determined to do anything to make sure you had a great stay. They had lots of tips about the island and places to go. Although not Santorini natives, they have worked together in different Santorini hotels for the same company for the last 9 years so really know their stuff. Breakfast is the only meal on site and consists of yogurt, cereals, bread/toast and pastries, salads with cheeses and cold meats, fruit, juices and hot beverages. You can order eggs and bacon the evening before and they will prepare them when you come down (again thanks Zacharoula and Yianna!). This is served by the pool. The hotel is quiet, there are no children (rooms are block-booked by Tui). It is well-placed for the main road and the beach - both 100m or so away. This gives good access to a range of restaurants, bars, and small shops. There is a mini market less than 5 mins walk away and a small Carrefour a couple of minutes beyond that. We bought a lot of salads, feta, fruit etc and tended to prepare our own lunches if staying local that day. Both supermarkets sell a good range of food and toiletries etc - most importantly, local wines from chilled barrels - 3.5-5 euros for 1.5 litres! We paid about 2 euros for 6 1.5litre bottles of water. That fridge was well-used! It is possible to do half-board, for which you use the local Atlantis Island restaurant. We did eat here one night (were given a free wine voucher!) and the food was fine. However, we prefer
