This is a great hotel! Located between the towns of Oia and Fira, the location is great, and very quiet, with reasonable prices. You can rent a car on the island, the cheapest price is 35 Euro/day, and there are buses to and from the two towns. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to Fira town. It is a bit far to Oia town. You can take a bus. It takes less than half an hour, 1.8 Euro/person, and the interval is very long. The hotel room is very big, the bed is very big and very comfortable, the privacy is very good, there is a big jacuzzi on the balcony, you can lie in the bathtub and watch the sunset. The room toiletries are complete, including slippers and toothbrush sets. I ordered a good breakfast every evening and delivered it to the room the next morning. It was very rich and delicious! Take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, more than ten minutes, 35 euros. The hotel should be the best place to enjoy the sunset on Santorini. You still have to go to two small towns for sightseeing. Blue churches can be seen everywhere and the scenery is beautiful. It is the best choice for vacation.
The downside is that the entrance and exit of the hotel are all steps. It is not recommended to bring a large suitcase if you are not physically strong, it is really tired!

Thank you, Renta and staff, for a memorable stay in Santorini. I had some doubts about the suites’ location overlooking the Caldera and the climbing that might be required, but the hotel is easily accessible with lovely gentlemen who take your luggage down to your room and pick it up when you are ready to leave. The accommodations are roomy, well appointed, and have an incredible view of the sea. We had our own patio where we could eat an ample breakfast delivered every morning. On these same mornings when we were very lucky, a parade of donkeys and one mule would clop by the path near the hotel, carrying materials to nearby sites. Of course our stay in November meant that many restaurants and shops in Imeroviglia were closed, but Fira is nearby. Renta will call Nico to give you a ride into town. Both of them are so gracious and accommodating that we very much enjoyed our stay. Following Renta’s advice, we took the catamaran tour of the Caldera, a must for seeing the Caldera from the sea. The plus side of Santorini in November is a complete lack of crowds. Our weather was sunny and in the seventies every day, which may have been a Greek anomaly but perfect for us. I highly recommend the Aqua Luxury suites and staff.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Exclusive Plan Suites. The staff were amazing and truly went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it, from check in, to advice on getting around, and everything in between. The caldera view from our room was breathtaking. The hot-tub was always a welcome sight after a long day of hill climbing and walking (take the hike to Oia if you get the chance!), and it was always warm. Breakfast was served every morning, and there was always more than enough to eat. Location-wise, this spot is pretty convenient. We were only about a 10-12 minute walk to the shops in Fira (with great views along the way), so we never felt like we were far from whatever we wanted to do, but Firostefani is much quieter than Fira so it was nice to get back to the room after a day out and have a relaxing evening looking out over the water and checking out the cruise ships. I'm not sure what is going on with the beds, but we woke up rested every day! Probably the best sleeps we've ever had on vacation.

While listed as a two star hotel, I would more accurately rate it as a five star cave hotel. What a beautiful view, comfortable room, and attentive staff. We spent 5 nights here (on our last as I type). We received an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. It was WONDERFUL, and a very pleasant surprise. Costas and Faye, along with the rest of the staff strive to please, and have great recommendations for both dining, and activities. The highlight of our trip was the catamaran cruise. While not inexpensive, worth every penny. Every morning when I walked out on our balcony, we continued to be amazed with the view . Breakfast each day on our balcony was fabulous. So glad my wife chose this hotel after reading previous recommendations. You will be pleased to stay here.

We are so happy with had the opportunity to meet our Hostess Arestides he was above and beyond exceptional. He was helpful and he was able to get our transportation to the airport the correct time. Also, any restaurant reservation he was able to take care that for us and suggested great restaurant by the area by calling the restaurant I making sure we get a table with a nice view. He was very nice explaining everything to us when we arrive to the hotel and show us all the highlights of the island the best beaches and places to go. We felt safe and happy everything we will go to the front desk, and he was there to assist us. I can't thank you enough for all you time and hospitality. we are so happy we stayed there. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were immaculate. It was so peaceful and safe. I loved our pool right outside of our room 101, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is not too far from the center to Fira by walk about 7 minutes. Thank you again Arestides and the entire Staff.

Since my one week stay in Oia with Amaya, I have been debating what my review would be. Here is where I weight out: 1. I would NOT stay at this brand / group again 2. It might be a risk if you manage to get 50% off the price as I did. But I would have been angry to have paid more 3. With the exception of the property manager, the onsite staff tried hard within the confines of what they had 4. At one point, these cave villas were probably as good as they could get. But with so much modernization, there are just too many better properties than these dated villas 5. The location is absolutely stunning. Getting the chance to stay in a MODERN white cave villa is like a bucket list item. So, here is the deal. I chose a week, in January – the VERY off season, because I wanted quiet and to return to Santorini. A big travel company offered this place at a very big discount. I jumped at the chance. What I experience, was a villa that was in a stunning location. And with a very stunning view. But the management of the villa. And the modernization of the villa is just not good enough anymore. WHAT I LIKED: - There was a attendant names “Vali” who was very helpful and responsive, despite the manager not being responsive. (Note to anyone staying here. You are SIXTY STEPS down the hill to your villa. You definitely need an attendant to help with luggage. Vali was marvelous. But if you have knew or other health problems, be aware that this is not an easy place to get up / down on. - The view was amazing. - But be aware that you are in the path at sunset to Sunset point. It becomes quite busy on your little path at that time - I am a cat lover. Be aware there are hundreds of cats near the villa. If you leave your doors or windows open – they do come in. Most are cautious. But you have to be comfortable with cats – or forever keep your windows doors closed. - The daily breakfast was marvelous. The person who cooked it and delivered it was attentive. She made generous breakfast that was delicious. The location, at the very near end of OIA was quiet WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: - The good news about booking in January is that 97% of the tourists have gone away. You really have the area to yourself. But – the flipside is that during this low season, there is a ton of renovation happening. In the day, when you want quiet and sunshine, you are getting drilling sounds. Hammering sounds. And a lot of local workers making improvements. You won’t get this in mid to high season – but this was not enjoyable. - The manager just was not professional. It began when a note was sent out, encouraging you to make a reservation with them for the transport from the airport. Ok. It sounded like a good idea. She promised a “reliable and very professional” service. For a price that I would learn is about double the price of others who will do the same on the island. I arrived to the airport. No sign. No transport. Everyone from the plane had left, and I was left. I eventually was able to reach

In fact, the whole thing is okay, the staff is nice, and they are all smiling when they see you.
The facilities are good, there is a jacuzzi.
The breakfast is delicious. I suggest you book it. In fact, you can’t find something to eat in the morning. Maybe I don't know how to find it, but the location is actually good. It will be more convenient if you rent a car, and there are shuttle buses everywhere.
But there are so many mosquitos in the rock room LoL

Hotel is very close to the most famous blue domes, can take good photos from the hotels.
Hotel, rooms, and the pool are clean, new and nicely decorated. Everything is well designed and vibe is superb.
Our room has a terrace with a panoramic view to the caldera, and a pool facing to the blue domes. The price was at premium but it’s worth the price!!
All the staffs are superb, polite, helpful, responsive, mindful, and considerate.
Food and drinks, we had breakfast and lunch in our room, and dinner at the restaurant, all the food and drinks were fabulous, one of the best catering services we had in Greece for my trip, we didn’t expect that!!!! Love it!
Thanks you for giving us such memorable and unforgettable memories.

The breakfast is not bad. The hotel is not too far from the airport, which is good for a one-night transit. The room is not big but it is OK, and there is a living room. The swimming pool is great. It was a pity that the weather was cold and we could not swim.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe recently returned from our mini honeymoon stay at Caldera Cliff illusion which exceeded our expectations and more. We stayed in a junior cave suite which was clean, comfortable and elegant in style. The main selling point is the terrace which overlooks the caldera and comes with a hot tub, and sunbathing area. Pictures do not do the views justice - it is incredible!! The staff are also amazing. There’s a small team that work at the hotel who are all super friendly, incredibly attentive and helpful. Everyday breakfast would be delivered to our private terrace at our specified time. It was a large banquet - probably enough for 4-6 people and was always delicious. I cannot praise our stay at caldera cliff illusion enough. Highly recommend!!!
GGuest UserLia was amazing! She is so friendly and helpful. If you ever want to hire a reliable employee with great customer service skills, look no further, Lia is your answer. My stay at Rocabella has been wonderful. When I arrived, Lia told me they had a special surprise for me…that my room was upgraded. I couldn’t believe it!
The daily housekeeping was great, they cleaned and tidy the room like I had not been there the night before. The breakfast options were unbelievable and delicious. You order your breakfast over the phone and the kitchen will deliver to your room within minutes. I was there late February, so it is not as busy as the summertime. So, things might be different during busy season. I will definitely recommend Rocabella to any of my friends and families that are going to Santorini.
LLuaneThey were very nice and make you feel like home all the time, always smiling :)
The room was very clean and nice, they gave me a very small room because I was alone but on the reservation it was a triple room. Anyway I didnt complain, it was fine.
The pool is nice, the location is in the middle of the island so far and close to everywhere. But theres a bus station a minute from the hotel and also other options to eat around, if yu dont wanna eat in the hotel. I had checkin in the morning and they offer me to leave my luggage on the hotel cause my flght was in the night and before going to airport they gave me towel and soap for a shower after all the day out. It was beyond my expectations, very happy for my stay there. I 100% recommend this place
GGuest UserWe stayed at Nissos for a week as a group of 13 (+ baby) for a friends wedding and the hotel was perfect for us! The staff were all absolutely lovely, so relaxed and incredibly accommodating. The location is smack bang in the middle of Thira as well as being minutes from the bus station to explore the rest of the island. Couldn’t recommend staying here more- definitely request the room with the mega terrace overlooking the pool- iconic. Thanks again to all the staff you made our week wonderful!
AAnonymous UserI like the place because it was more like a villa type. Only one floor and the door opens to an open space in front of the gate. It has seats outside that make you feel like it’s tropical. It is quiet in the area and it is close to the square. About 15 mins from the airport. Faster without traffic. Actually there was almost no traffic. There are many restaurants at the square like typical Greek restaurants, Turkish and even Chinese.
The owners are very accommodating. They offered me some coffee one morning. They gave me the information I needed to get around the place. They also fixed my heater while I was out. They arranged airport pick up and drop off for me even when I had to leave at 4:30 am. Well appreciated.
Downside: Just the floor is cold and they did not have any slippers available. I ran out of bottled water and it was not replaced. I could have asked but the reception closed a bit early so I did not bother. It was not a big deal though.
Thank you for the warm welcome! I would stay again if I’d come back.
GGuest UserMy Family and I visited Santorini for the first time and I could not have selected a more perfect property for our trip. The location is optimal, it is close to center of town yet feels private. Our Villa was beautiful, spacious, spotless and well stocked with all of our needs. The view from our deck and jacuzzi was breathtaking. We were welcomed with a split of champagne and fresh fruit. After a long flight from the United states it was the perfect start to our trip. The fresh breakfast delivered every morning to our villa was delicious. Maryam the property manager was incredibly helpful prior to our arrival offering restaurant and activity recommendation's. Throughout our entire stay she was present daily to assist with all itinerary and transit needs. The entire staff was a delight, we cannot wait to visit again! Tara Taylor
GGuest UserWe arrived earlier in the day & asked if we could do early check in. We were told that the room we have booked isn’t available early, so we could upgrade to another room & get early check in option. We agreed. When we checked in the room didn’t look like any upgrade, as it was pretty basic. Also, if these are how most of the rooms are, they aren’t great. The room had a stair to go ‘up’ where a tiny bed was places, and the ceiling was so low that even a 5-foot height tiny person like me would bump her head. The stairs aren’t too safe, so if you have to walk down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom below the bed area, you better be fully awake & cautious if your steps.
Shower didn’t work properly with hot/cold water. I couldn’t wash my hair, had to quickly get out of the shower.
I would have preferred, if they just told us there was an extra charge for early check in.
In case I’m wrong, and this room was indeed an ‘upgrade’ then I don’t know what the basic room will be. Can’t imagine what would be even lesser. Maybe no window / balcony.
The swimming pool was closed, probably because it was still cold when we went.
The property looks nice though, it’s just 10 mins taxi ride from the city square. The rooms have a balcony & peaceful view as there aren’t too many buildings around.
It’s quite & clean. Just that the rooms are too basic & the tiny bed in tiny space was uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. It was claustrophobic for me. Couldn’t sleep well, couldn’t bathe well. But I did enjoy sitting in the balcony & sipping my tea in peace.
GGuest UserI only stayed a night in Central but would be happy to stay a couple more days! It's location is truly central (turn left immediately after passing the Pelican Hotel) so you literally have central Fira at your doorsteps. Having splurged on higher end accommodations in Imerovigli and Oia, I opted for the Standard Double Room at Central since I would only be staying a night. While not huge, the room is reasonably well-appointed and I must say rather cosy! I do have to agree with one of the reviews below about noises from other guests at the corridor such as when they're loud or slam the doors. Perhaps the hotel can remind guests or put up signs about this. I don't usually opt for breakfast at the hotel since F&B options are aplenty so might as well get out and eat what you feel like that day. Overall, I had a great stay at Central Fira Hotel and would be happy to return and recommend it for a basic stay.. Special shoutout to the staff at the reception for going out of his way to help with my heavy suitcase! 🫶
GGuest Userwe stayed in superior room caldera view, the view was very nice indeed and room lovely, it has the santorini cave vibe. room clean, bathroom clean, hot water at any time.
breakfast is not buffet, but they serve you lots of food and various, average quality, terrible coffee 😅
swimming pool sometimes is closed, sometimes it is opened, they do not have a fixed schedule which is a bit annoying if you are really into using the pool. the pool is big and it has a nice view.
location is perfect, 10 minutes from the bus station, in the center, on the cliff with a great view of the volcano
GGuest UserThe location is bit far from the fira station, slowly walk will take about 15mins to fira station. Room is clean and quite big. Staff is friendly.
