Aparthotel Tropic Garden

This was our 16th visit to this hotel and we love everything about it. We would like to think that the staff there are now our friends and we love them all. There is nothing they wont do for you and are always happy and smiling despite how hard they work. Our daughter is disabled (in wheelchair) and the entertainment team go way above and beyond to look after her and she is the happiest she ever is, when she is with them. They are the best entertainment team there is hands down! The hotel is always clean and fresh and the food os always amazing. Always plenty of choice. Room is cleaned daily and we really have no complaints. The only small thing I would say is that with our daughter getting older maybe some walk in showers in some of the rooms would be of an advantage. I cant imagine, older people or some with small dissabilities find it easy to step into and out of the bath when showering. Stepping onto slippy tiles can be dangerous and also maybe a hoist in the disabled bathroom as lifting can be a lot. The whole hotel is disabled friendly with ramps everywhere and lifts to rooms and a ramp into pool so a hoist would make this hotel outstanding for the disabled. They are the only things I could say they could improve on. Other than that, it is our happy place, our second home and we will continue to visit as long as we can do. Special thanks to Kim and Jordi who helped make our stay exceptional and to the entertainent team Denise, Jesus, Jeske, Britte, Luna, Genesis, Joris and Sandro. They are all amazing at their job and they all work so hard. Thanks Tropic Garden for another amazing holiday. Hopefully see you next year

We stayed here for 5 nights in a cool corner room. The room was small, but decently comfortable. The air conditioning struggled to get below a certain temperature and it seemed the thermostat did not actually reflect the room temperature. The huge ocean front deck was amazing! There was a large outdoor couch, coffee table, lounge chair, and arm chair. The lamp that was provided did not work (apparently the plug outside was broken) but they brought us one of those portable table lamps from the restaurant when we decided to order room service and eat out there. Service is friendly and definitely well-meaning but it seems they are either understaffed or just need a little more training to be up to 5 star standards. It wasn’t a dealbreaker though. We had a chance to try the new beach club and it’s great! Food was excellent and so was the service. The beach itself was okay (a lot of seaweed floating and rocky). The location itself was really great! The town it’s in has a lot to see and do with a lot of shops and restaurants. There is a boardwalk along the beach that’s super popular for strolling along and runs the length of the town. We had a car so we were able to easily drive around to visit the other towns on the island and visit the different markets. It’s not the best W hotel we have stayed in but I think there is a lot of potential. If you are going to be in Ibiza it’s a good choice!
Aparthotel Duquesa Playa

We stayed at Duqesa for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Rooms are spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily. They are very well equipped with a lovely cool bedroom and a very powerful shower in bathroom. There is a lovely rooftop pool with plenty of beds and never overly busy. The location is perfect for us as a short walk to marina, bars and restaurants and the beach. The road noise is loud but you are bang in the centre. What really makes this hotel is the amazing staff. Have travelled all over and never had as lovely friendly obliging staff. Catered to our every need with a friendly smile and chat every day. Yolanda, Rene, Walid and Tony, it was a pleasure to meet you all.
Hotel Riomar, Ibiza, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Riomar is a gorgeous boutique hotel right on the beach in Santa Eulalia. You are greeted with the most stunning sea view when walking into the hotel and the terrace area is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The rooms are perfectly equipped with robes, slippers coffee machine & a kettle and I would recommend a sea view room for an equally wonderful view as you walk in, also a great location to watch the sunrise. The food and drinks are great, and the location is perfect for wandering out as there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The bar, restaurant and staff on the beach /pool were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. I do have one negative and I don’t recall this being an issue last year, there was a really strong sewage smell on our floor and in our room, the hotel mentioned this was due to recent bad weather, unfortunately the smell remained during our stay. I also asked to change rooms on checkin as along with the smell I had been allocated an accessible room with a wet room which we didn’t want. I was made to feel a little bit like I shouldn’t be asking to change rooms even though I was within my rights having paid a considerable amount of money, luckily after a while the manager stepped in and swiftly changed our room, and smell aside this didn’t impact our stay. It really is a perfect hotel for couples, chilled girly holiday (think cocktails & sunbathing) & I can’t wait to return.
Melia Ibiza - Adults Only

Got back from this hotel on Sunday. We have stayed here on many occasions over the years when it was the Sol Beach House and always liked it. Now that it has been updated under the Meliá brand we booked a Level supreme sea view room and was not disappointed. Large balcony with a double sunlounger and a wicker chair and table - perfect to relax with a coffee or tea, there was a coffee machine in the room and a kettle with a choice of teabags and coffees. Room was clean and very comfortable. If I had anything to say it would be the lack of English speaking channels on the TV, but that wasnt a problem. There is now a separate dedicated check in for Level guests and with Patricia, who was welcoming and friendly at reception, right through to the Level breakfast with a special mention to Raquel who took our breakfast order most mornings, they always had a smile and helpful suggestions. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a uniquely beautiful spot where you can see the coast line for miles and also good for walking along the coastline or to the marina, shops and restaurants - marina is approximately 10 minute walk along a flat, tiled walkway. My mum was with us and she struggles with walking but was able to manage the walk there and back easily. There was one day that had rain forecast and I noticed an umbrella holder with multiple umbrellas for guests to use if they wished, by the door in the reception area. It’s these little touches that makes it special for me. Another was a singer on guitar at breakfast on Sunday morning, was just perfect to sit there with the sea sounds and the gentle voice of the singer while eating breakfast. Absolutely heavenly. The rooftop pool and bar is again another wonderful spot to relax, swim and see the view for miles as it’s one of the highest buildings along that coastline. Lastly we enjoyed the tapas in the level lounge area daily between 5-6pm, as well as the soft drinks, teas and coffees, wine and beer available all day. Also will mention is the WI-FI was very good, reliable and fast. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking to relax and chill out in a beautiful place.

We have just returned from a very relaxing 7 night stay and loved it so much we have booked again for next year, booking direct with the hotel as opposed to a Jet2 package. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel has an extremely relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a chilled out holiday. We were allocated room 1101 which had a walk through wardrobe area, spacious separated bathroom and spacious, airy bedroom. Balcony was also big with 2 soft leatherette tub chairs with a sea view (all rooms have sea views). Breakfast is served in a separate building in the grounds just a minute’s walk away and overlooks the bay, just beautiful. Great choice of food to suit all tastes, we could have sat there for hours. The local marina is only a short stroll with plenty of bars and restaurants and the town centre just a few more minutes away. Cannot recommend this hotel and the staff enough.
