Barceló Portinatx - Adults Only

Just spent a wonderful week here with my daughter. What a gem of a place! Great location in one of the prettiest parts of the island. Several stunning beaches to choose from, all with crystal clear water. Plenty of good restaurants with lovely views within easy walking distance. And the sunsets are spectacular! As for the hotel itself: Our room was fabulous, bright and airy with gorgeous sea view & was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Super comfortable beds & blackout curtains meant we slept so well! Breakfast was incredible - one of the best buffet style hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Fresh produce, constantly replenished, beautifully presented and so much choice! The pools & the pool areas are very attractive and there were plenty of sunbeds. We enjoyed great cocktails made by the excellent pool bar staff and several delicious lunches poolside too. We loved the hotel design, style & decor. And it smells great! Clearly a lot of work goes into the maintenance & the cleaning. As for the staff: they were all friendly, hard working & professional. They must be tired at the end of a long & busy summer season - but it never showed. They are a credit to the Barcelo brand. Congratulations to the management on running such a lovely hotel. I cannot wait to come back. If you want a relaxing break to recharge the batteries I highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay at Barcelo Portinatx. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was large modern, clean and comfortable. Stunning views from our balcony and stairwell in block A, 5th floor. The pool area is lovely, chilled and always loungers available (late sept). The food at the pool bar is delicious. Excellent selection and quality breakfast. We were b&b so didn't eat at dinner buffet. Portinatx is a quiet town but there are various activities and excercions available. There are some pretty bays with beautiful turquoise water. We hope to return soon!

Had a fabulous stay here, location is great, staff are really helpful, they have provided guidance and help when I needed it and service was very top notch! I do recommend this place and will be staying here again.

What a great hotel. The staff were so friendly and the food at the pool bar was beyond excellent. Niko was very helpful … a smaller gentleman with muscles to lift the heaviest of bags up many stairs ..and always smiling :) A quiet area of Ibiza ..but what incredible sunset views to enjoy.

Last week we stayed in this Great hotel. Nice and quiet location. We loved our room, Great terrace with hottub, beautiful Seaview. The healthy breakfast in the Morning was lovely. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach . Enough parking space. we definitely come back!

I booked a week in this hotel for myself & my husband for May. They have taken the payment from my credit card but then cancelled the booking saying there is a problem with the payment. I have phoned several times but cannot get anyone to help me and have e-mailed the hotel showing proof of payment but still no response. So I am over €2,000 down with no holiday.

We had a 10 night stay at Barceló to coincide with our birthdays and wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a quiet, remote location then this is one to look at. The road north through Ibiza literally ends at this hotel. The small cove at the front is great for scuba diving however if you prefer a little more going on then a 10 minute walk from the hotel are the main beaches which provide boat trips, activities, etc. Personally we were more than happy relaxing around the hotel pools. We opted for all inclusive and it worked out a great deal for us. The hotel has two pools. One is what I would describe as quieter. The reason I say this is because the main pool is next to the pool bar so music plays throughout the day and occasionally there is live music. For me, this was relaxing but if it isn’t your cup of tea then there is the quieter option. The pools are cleaned every night (we could see from our balcony) and maintained very well. We opted for a larger suite so had the shower/toilet, dressing area, bedroom and a separate living area. This provided additional cupboard space and TV area also. The terrace was very large with two loungers, two deck chairs and a whirlpool bath. We were on the top floor so had nobody looking over us. I feel that if you were on the lower floors you may have a sense (because of the way the building is constructed) that somebody above was watching you. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard with water, tea and coffee all replaced. The room also included a sink, microwave, fridge and hob within a cupboard (although cooking wasn’t the first thing I thought of when we arrived). Nice touch though if you wanted it. Breakfasts and evening meal are all served in the restaurant. For breakfast, the choices are endless. Whether it be a cooked breakfast or continental, there is so much to choose from. All is buffet style so service is very quick. Evening meals are also buffet style with good choices. The only issue is as it is buffet style it could be slightly cooler than some would like. Nevertheless the food is good. In the daytime the pool bar serves pasta, burgers, sandwiches, etc and there is a good choice all served my excellent staff. The bar area in the evening provides a relaxing place to sit, occasionally there is live music for an hour or so. All in all a superb place and will definitely return again.

Hotel was very clean and had great facilities. Quality of food was high and staff were friendly and helpful. Would go again at this time of year as was not too busy. Lots of areas to sit and relax room was lovely. Went on a late notice availability half board offer so was great value

The hotel is spectacular and the natural environment is worth visiting. Very attentive staff and incredible food.It is a unique place, very relaxing and where you find tranquility. I repeat for sure!!
