I read the reviews online before checking in and thought it was OK. It felt good to stay with my children. The hotel has a simple design and very complete smart facilities. There are many advantages. The breakfast is not bad. There are multiple charging stations in the hotel's underground parking lot, and there is also a laundry room. I checked in on the fifth day of the first ***** month. The quilts were a bit tight. Except for not getting more quilts, everything else was very good.

I booked it to go to a concert, and the price increase was more reasonable compared to surrounding areas. Let’s talk about the advantages first: the interior has been renovated, it’s quite new, and the room is very spacious. The location is in the city center and the transportation is convenient. Disadvantages: The hair dryer is the old-fashioned type fixed on the wall, which is not very convenient. The hot water is very small, and the shower room is also very small. There is only one space to turn around, and there is no place to put towels and clothes. You can only change them after washing, which is quite embarrassing. In short, the bathing experience is not good. Overall it's okay.

Sanming Hotel is indeed a five-star hotel. There were rooms available for check-in at 11 o'clock, 3 hours in advance. No one disturbed us when we were there. We were given welcome fruits and biscuits when we went out to play. The coffee, black tea and green tea in the mini bar in the room were delicious. The bathroom was also very clean. It was very cold outside in winter, but the whole building of the hotel was very warm. There was also heating in the room, but you had to turn it on yourself. The scenery in the hotel was very good. It was not too far from the river, nor too close. You could also see Qilin Mountain. There was a bus stop downstairs, not far from Liedong Hub Station, and there were many delicious foods on Liedong Street. The breakfast was very good, with freshly cooked noodles, flat meat, drinks, and four bottles of water a day. It was a very OK hotel.

Overall, the place met my expectations. It was a bit worn down, visible water damage in the shower, but nothing that looked gross or nasty to me. Overall, for what I paid, I was satisfied with it. Breakfast was VERY underwhelming though. Don't expect much. It is very bare bones. Food is almost all gone around 8am and not replenished, so arrive by 7am-730am if you want anything to eat. But I'd recommend just getting food elsewhere. Location is quite central to SanYuan District and is only a few minutes walk away from the riverside walkway/park.
