Just an average hotel. It's clean, but tired. Beds are fine, bathrooms are fine, and pool is fine. You'll sleep fine here, but I probably wouldn't return to it and would rather try a Holiday Inn Express or Best Western instead. Pool - It looked ok, but pretty cold (checked in Feb). The hot tub is more of a warm tub. If I had small kids, I bet they'd take a quick dip in the 77-78 degree larger pool and then hang out in the hot tub. Breakfast - Seems like the standard fare of eggs from a mix, muffins, bagels, and the oh so favorite of absolutely no one, red delicious apples. Why are those at every single hotel free breakfast. Would have loved to have seen something special or different at this hotel. We ended up going out to somewhere else for breakfast. Rooms - Clean, but kind of out dated. Bathroom had a bit of mold in the calking, but overall it was fine. Internet - I'm typing this review on the provided free internet. I'm getting 3Mbit down and 4Mbit up so not exactly the fastest, but it will let you type up TripAdvisor reviews. Google Maps struggles to draw directions and FaceTime doesn't work that well. Might be a variety of reasons so your milage may vary. Parking - By far my biggest complaint. There is tons of parking everywhere. I don't know how anyone would get here unless they had a car. They charge $5 per night to park at the hotel. There is no value add here except what feels like a money grab. I suppose you could park at a nearby business park, but parking at the hotel is probably your best bet. Why not just wrap the charge into the room rate? They don't provide any sort of added security and there's no shortage of spots available.

Valerie (front desk) is exceptional. Grounds were clean. I have a very expensive car and I had NO issues parking here (even though I parked on the street a few times because the spaces are so thin....people double park unfortunately). Only thumbs down is that its a stones throw away from a freeway lane and the AirForce base in less than 5 miles away (lots of helicopter sounds and aircraft in general).I really have nothing to complain about. I'll end this by saying again....Valerie was exceptional. Sweet. Friendly. Super cool reading glass frames. Very kind human being. Great lady.

I'm the kinda person that is huge on communication and fairness. I think her name is Brianna at the front desk....”wow” extremely nice and accommodating to us. And to be honest the entire front desk receptionists are very good at what they do. I will return.

Was very pleased with my stay here. Only complaint is the people above me stomping around and the people next to me slamming their door late at night and early in the morning. I would definitely stay at this place again. It was clean and very roomy. Walking distance from some good restaurants. Good sized tv with fast internet.

Suitable for parents, not far from the harbor and aircraft carrier, walked for the past 15 minutes, also passed the nautical museum, next to the park is the park, then the shopping center. Not far from the old city, the sea world and the zoo. Compared with the five-star hotel on the side of the harbor, the price is very high. The reservation is for the suite. The room is large, and there is a kitchen. There are pots and pans. You can buy your own ingredients for a long time. You can definitely do it yourself. The bathroom is also very big, just showering with the bathtub, the bathtub has no anti-slip mat, the daughter enters the slippery, and the lower jaw knocks on the bathtub and the bleeding is red and swollen. The room has breakfast, although there is no domestic rich, but you can eat. There is also happy hour in the evening, 17-19 points, free drinks and snacks, very good.

Very nice renovated room. Just had an issue with parking in hotel parking lot with an oversized vehicle. Luckily there was an ACE parking lot across the street from the hotel that was actually less expensive.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the promenade and the old town. Comfortable bath and room. Good swimming pool. At the entrance they gave a voucher for kayaking or biking for an hour. Also vouchers for two bottles of water.
The situation that happened to us, the room was with the smell of dampness, that it was impossible to breathe, after a complaint it was quickly changed to us.

Excellent
AAnonymous UserThis is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. Parking is valet, there is a cvs at the door, and there is a taco that ranks first in the United States within five minutes' walk, which is pretty good, but there is homeless on the roadside
GGuest UserThis hotel has a good location. It's two miles from SAN, the cruise terminal, and at the entrance of Little Italy. Harborview is across the street which has restaurants and a park. La Jolla is about 12 miles. Surf Sports park in Del Mar is a 30 minute drive. This hotel is not the newest but in fair condition. The lobby is welcoming. There is a complimentary breakfast with waffles, bagels, eggs, breakfast potatoes, fruit, juice, oatmeal, cereal, and some type of meat (sausage, bacon, etc.) There are several unhoused sleeping and walking around the streets bordering the hotel. The park across the street offers restrooms that are used by the unhoused. Many steps are taken to ensure security - doors locked from 8pm-10am, garage/garage elevators/lobby bathrooms only accessible with room key, security outside after dusk. Be warned. There is a train behind the hotel which runs into the deep night. The west side of the hotel faces Pacific Highway and cars/ambulances/fire trucks run all night long. If you are a light sleeper, pick a room on the north side of the hotel or bring your ear plugs. Also, parking was $40 a night!
LLINI stayed for two nights and I was out every day. I did n’t enjoy the resort service, but I still paid the resort fee. When I drove by car, I parked in a few free parking spaces at the door. A lot. The outdoor pool is beautiful, but closed early
GGuest UserA nice option in San Diego is close to the bay and close to Little Italy to have dinner (You must try Sambugers). There is a nice pool. The rooms are great, with a balcony and if you are lucky, you’ll have some views of the bay. The main issue is the “breakfast”. I’ll skip commenting, you can read some other reviews. I didn’t have a problem because they inform you before the reservation. There is a Starbucks in front of it. The check-in was not informative or clear at all. They pretend to charge an amount without any explanation (room + parking and incidentals) We have some problems with the room and the night manager didn’t hesitate to arrange a change (I don’t remember the name, but she understood the problem and work to find a solution). Thanks to her we had a great experience in San Diego, and we are writing a 5-star review
QQIYUNThe hardware conditions are not good. The parking fee is 19 knives a night. The roadside should be able to park, but it is a bit late. I don't want to go to the road to see the sign and look for the parking space. Hotel service attitude is OK, but the state of health is not flattering, the bathroom is not smooth, the bath is very disgusting. Breakfast tableware is not too clean, I really don't want to tip. There are few old town hotels, but it seems that there is no choice, maybe other cost-effective.
KKellydean1One of the most unsafe properties I have ever stayed in, surrounded by addicts and drunkards and other criminals, it was absolutely terrible. The staff were rude and for the most part we’re unwilling to even acknowledge those people staying at the property. The one night I had twisted my ankle and had asked the night manager for Ice if he could open the room where are the ice machine was locked, and he said absolutely under no condition. He said walk over to the mini mart and buy a bag of ice, I said please I need ice for my ankle, he told me to go away and stop begging because it did not suit me. I was infuriated and Insulted buy this impudent little weasel of a man. I am sure he has cost you more money than whatever wage you may have ever paid him. As a business owner I understand the losses an employee like this can cost a company, I am sure your business plan is not to drive away your clientele by insulting them. I won’t ever stay there again.
小小封君The hotel is very good, the location is very good, and there are many takeaways nearby. Room hygiene is also very good. Remember to bring your own toothbrush.
EEnglishTeacher朱丽叶Location was excellent for concert at Petco Park, took Uber and obviously was longer due to concert influx realized take a lime lite would have been faster. Walking expect 25-30 min and going up hill.
Service was good at check -in , first night found roaches 🪳 under and around fridge area! Went to lobby for possible accommodations , encountered male fair skin and colored eyes, said they were from the weather (🙄) didn’t seem surprised to hear there were roaches in our room, asked if we can switch rooms- he said they were fully booked and didn’t have anything available which I didn’t even see him check. At this point couldn’t find room to check out for the weekend and left as is. Told cleaning lady that evening and she shared a roach spray to spray in infected area. We didn’t not feel comfortable in this environment and left our snacks and food in bags and placed luggage on our beds and desk to avoid roaches from getting in. Additionally had requested towels and when asked for 4 same lobbyist said 4 was pushing it and only handing two towels even though I had booked two double Queen rooms for 8 people!!
Second room has stains on bed sheets and pillows, unsure what exactly it was but looked like blood. Friend got rash on arm and suspected bed bugs, checked sheets and luckily didn’t find any.
Bathroom sink had broken handle that came off when lifted.
Breakfast was good- early hours 7:30-8:30 , doors closed by 8:25 and you cannot take food out. But decent has French toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and juices.
Parking was small but have additional parking below , just have to walk around the corner.
GGuest UserI had not such a real relaxing time.I had been put in a hall way where the noise of anything in this area that was or happen the go through was very loud and noises from all around me were heard, upstairs the people possibly on back of room people from side of me and even laundry.I had been woken up with real loud steeping and jumping from the second floor.Ive never experienced being caught in this from hotels I stay and it will be my last.I don't recommend you let the front people put you somewhere strange in the hotel ask for second floor.By the way I really stay on higher floors then second I don't know why I was fogged about the front desk person convincing me that the room was special.Oh I know because she said she upgraded me to a room with two beds, which I think I had already requested anyway I'll think twice about this place. But if I'm in dire straight I'll neen the second floor please.
LLindy_LFor a colleague, display the pre-authorization. As a result, the credit card shows consumption. Colleagues at the front desk are also paying. It has been three months since now, and I have not returned the cost of the card before returning. Still studying how to
