The location is prime, with direct beach access and proximity to attractions and the airport. The rooms are modern and spacious, but some guests found it overpriced with quality and service concerns.

The room was spacious. Mattress needed changing. Food was mediocre and tasteless. TV only had analog channels ( technician arrived but could not fix it). Wifi did not work in room. Staff in general very friendly specially doorman Alvin. On last morning a torrential downpour flooded dinning/ breakfast area ( this also happened a couple of days before so we went out to eat). On arriving back in room we found it also flooded. Advised reception but no one came so we sloshed around the room till checkout.....Whole place needs a refurbish!

Terrible service, terrible pillows, terrible food. Avoid if you can. They control how many towels you can use per day, prepare to load noise (the called it music) until 11 pm every day. Need to call upur travel agency? Forget it, no phone available. Bring your pen food because it was terrible.

Excellent food and service. Cleaning could be better. Buffet, all you can eat almost at any time. Great location. It is in front of great beaches and airport. It is loud sometimes with the planes departing. Don’t do the tours to Jonny cay. Not worth it. Too much people and the beach is not better than what you have in front of the hotel.

We are a family of 3 and stayed for 5 nights. We also had our baby travelling with us. The check in process was not quick and took way too long. As I do not speak Spanish, it was very difficult to communicate as they did not hire very many bilingual staff. Very lucky I had my Colombian spouse and family with me. This resort is very much geared to Spanish speaking visitors only. As this is the so called “best” resort on the island, you would think they are expecting visitors from all over the world. The resort stated that it had multiple restaurants, yet nobody working there told you anything about the restaurants or how to even reserve a spot. Did I mention yet that only one restaurant has air-conditioning? This will be the only place on the resort that you find an air conditioner, other than your room. After attempting to sign into the extremely bad Wi-Fi, I was able to self teach myself how to look into booking a restaurant. Turns out if you don’t book it by 10 AM then you will not get a spot for dinner which we’re 6:30pm or 8:30pm options. But this has nothing to do with space or occupancy because when we did eventually have a dinner at the restaurant, there was plenty of seats still open. Maybe this is because nobody knows how to book a spot? I digress. The rooms were decent, clean and the air conditioning functioned very well. This was a plus. The buffet was decent and had a variety of food each day. Unfortunately, the entire week we were there, they did not turn any of the large fans on so you were basically eating in a sauna of 40° and 90% humidity for each meal. I love some heat and that is the purpose of going on a vacation like this, but you would expect at least during meal time to have some circulating air while you relax off the beach. Especially with a younger baby, some time away from the heat to cool off would have been nice and healthy for the baby. The beach and the water views were some of the best in the world. The island sure lives up to its natural beauty and the people we very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, however, this resort is very very limited with entertainment options. You absolutely get what you pay for on this one.

We went because my aunt had had a wonderful experience 6 years ago, and now that we returned (and it was my first time at the hotel), it was horrible. We arrived, and there was a terrible mix-up with the rooms. They were going to place my uncle, who has mobility issues, on a third floor with no elevator! Later, I went to the snack area starving, and the staff scolded me for bringing too much food, even though I hate wasting food. I ate everything and had to refill to show that I was genuinely hungry. On my last night, they served a "paella" that only had one oyster, shrimp, and sausage. Those coffee-like things you see are BONES! I leave very disappointed; I don't think I will return to the hotel. The only good thing was the location in front of the beach. If you want an expensive hotel, with rude and empowered staff, rooms without hand soap, and low-quality food, this is your hotel.

Big hotel and nice location. Beat thing is the beach, big and Sandy white, the clean service in general can improve a lot, the pool and the rooms specially. Food is good but the options at a la carte restaurants are limited. Same menu during 4 days. Worse, soft drinks are from a 2l bottle so you will get your drink without gas most of the time. I prefer to get a hotel Just with breakfast and eat in all tge nice places around the island
