Amazing guesthouse!! The guesthouse is located in a walking distance from major sightseeing spots in Samarkand such as the Registan Square and the Bibikhonim Mosque. Also the owner was so kind and helpful, which will make your travel experiences better. Would stay here again for the next trip to Samarkand.

Everything was good.

I would have given it full marks, but there was no hot water kettle in the room and I had to use it in the kitchen. The host was very helpful, providing maps of scenic spots and buying train tickets on his behalf. English is very good.

Staying at the Musavvir guesthouse was one of the best hotel experiences in Uzbekistan during my entire trip to this country. And in this review I want to express my deep gratitude to the host and founder of the guesthouse, Sanjar. An absolutely wonderful person, friendly, welcoming, open to the world and an educated intellectual with excellent English and Russian! He was always in touch, helped in every possible way and did his best to make our stay in the guesthouse as comfortable as possible. Sanjar repeatedly helped us with advice from an experienced local resident, gave recommendations on the best restaurants and cafes, helped organize an interesting trip to Shakhrisabz with the help of his friend, and at prices lower than those offered in the city. What I would like to immediately note is the design of both the hotel rooms and common areas, decorated in a cute retro lamp style. It is immediately clear that Sanjar has been collecting a collection of antiques with love and for a long time, which has become a decoration and a unique feature of the guesthouse. Both the rooms and common areas are always very clean; everything is new, from bed linen to towels. Our room was very spacious, I could even do yoga in the room without hesitation :-). There is no breakfast in the guesthouse, but given the huge number of catering outlets in Samarkand, this will definitely not be a problem for travelers and will allow you to maintain very reasonable prices for accommodation in the guesthouse. As a summary: I 100% recommend the guesthouse to budget tourists, you can count on the owner’s help in any matter of “local orientation.” If I have the opportunity to return to Samarkand again, I will be very glad to stay with Sanjar again at the Musavvir guesthouse. As a point of growth, and a bit of fair criticism, I note that a couple of times there were short moments when the hot water in the bathroom disappeared, but soon appeared back. If the administration of the guesthouse solves this problem, then I can safely add a plus to my rating of the guesthouse of 5 points! :-)

I stayed here on a solo trip, but the atmosphere was homey and the owner was very kind, so I had a comfortable stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the famous mosque and Registan Square, so it's easy to access and the location is great! There is also a shared kitchen space, so you can cook and drink tea. Toothbrushes and free water are not provided at check-in, so you need to prepare in advance! It was a great place and I would love to stay here again if I come to Uzbekistan ^ ^

The best memories of the hotel! Small family hotel in the old quarter. Silence and comfort, walking distance to the center, round-the-clock heating and hot water, heated floors in the bathroom and original paintings on the walls, antique exhibitions and shelves of books. This place is very satisfying. There is a library and restaurant downstairs where you can make a cup of tea and read. The owners are a couple, they are very nice. When the male owner is not at home, we communicate in English.

It's in a small alley, not too far from Registan Square. The boss doesn't speak much English, but the baby is very cute. Bring your own toothbrush. The room size is okay and clean.

The location is great, you can walk to sightseeing spots. The boss speaks English and communicates well. The room is clean and tidy, with carpets on the floor and even oil paintings on the walls. It is beyond the existence of a five-star hotel.

This is a good family hotel with a good location, a shared kitchen and walking distance to most attractions. The owner speaks good English, is enthusiastic, and is willing to help guests. For example, help buying train tickets.

Отличное сочетание расположения, сервиса и цены. В историческом центре, в пешей доступности от площади Регистан, сиабского базара и множества ресторанов с вкусной едой. В отеле есть оборудованная кухня и уютный внутренний двор. Замечательный пример гостеприимства.
