The hotel is in an excellent location, and all major attractions are within walking distance. It takes about 6 minutes to walk to Registan Square, 3 minutes to walk to Bibi Hanim Mosque, and 15 minutes to walk to Shah-i-Zinda. The hotel is on a pedestrian street, and vehicles cannot directly reach it. The recommended starting point or arrival point is "Aziz" in the alley opposite the hotel. The hotel breakfast is not very diverse, but the quality is acceptable, with freshly ground coffee, tea, toaster, fried eggs and sausages. The room is large and comfortable.

Very cost-effective, good service attitude, and the front desk speaks good English. The location is right in the middle of the pedestrian street in the ancient city of Samarkand, which is convenient for going anywhere, but the road at the door seems inconvenient for cars.

Considering the price, I think it is a bit expensive, but it is located inside the historical site. The breakfast was also good...the coffee beans were really good. You can rent a bicycle at the hotel, so it's easy to use it to go to tourist attractions. (Bike rental is not free) Everything in the hotel was new. It was the best accommodation for the last trip.

The location of this hotel is great. It is very close to the attractions and can be reached on foot in more than ten minutes. Especially the two handsome guys at the front desk of the hotel, who work hard and are very enthusiastic. This hotel is the first choice in Samarkand

Loved the location. Nice 5 star feel (with out a pool). Just cannot go past that its near the registan *****. Just a great location. Loved Samarkand probably due to the location of this hotel! Lovely places to eat just outside the hotel at very reasonable prices.

We like everything - location, room, staff attitude. The hotel is located on a quiet pedestrian street not faraway from main tourist sites. We have got a very nice impression. We recommend this hotel!

I chose Sangzor boutique hotel after reading all the good reviews here. The pedestrian street is just at the door step. Hotel staff Sobirjon is very helpful, he showed me the tourist information centre across, a few shops away when I wanted to book a trip to cross the Samarkent border to Tajikistan. I told Azamat, the manager of the tourist information centre that I was having problems booking Yandex rides back to hotel using Sangzor boutique hotel as destination as it is on a pedestrian street and most of the time Yandex drivers dont know where to alight me. He advised me to use the big red advertisment of the restaurant name (sorry I forgot) on the back wall where Yandex drivers alight me correctly at the back, just need to walk through the opening & see the hotel across with its red carpet. I also found out from Azamat that they have student guides for the 5h old city tour US45, local guide $65 and there’s a whole day 9-5pm tour with guide & transport US115. I stayed 3 nights here, it is very convenient with the tourist information centre across. Azamat personalised an itinerary for me to Tajikistan Pangjakent & Dushanbe. I went to Hamkor Bank to withdraw USD, paid for the trip & departed the next morning! Best hotel to stay & plan last minute trips! P/S upon check out, the staff at reception passed me a slip of paper with details of my stay. I realised at the Tajikistan Panjakent border custom wants to verify my stay at Samarkent and he wants to see my registration paper!

The room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable, heating worked well, bathroom was heated and clean, water with good pressure and temperature. Breakfast was good. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walking from the main attractions and restaurants.
