Hotels near Praia de Itacaranha, Salvador

We like the cost-benefit! Room and bathroom very clean and smellful! clean and pleasant decoration! All worked well during the stay: wi-fi, air, hot shower, TV. Wonderful shower! Super friendly service! Area of coffee ventilated. The hotel's location (although you take care of who will visit the football stadium) is not one of the most tourists and it is recommended only for who can walk in the city. We identified that the morning coffee has a variety of foods (fruit, eggs, bread, coffee, omelets, tapioca, etc.). However, even when we arrived early at coffee, as many guests had, some options ended and we couldn't eat because they were not answered.

My family and I stayed at the Wish with interconnecting rooms in August 2022. This worked really well for us. Lobby area is large and airy with lovely decor. Pool area looked really nice but was not warm enough for us to use. The gym was modern with plenty of choice in equipment. Had some lovely evenings at the bar drinking cocktails made by Mauro. We were allocated rooms on level 11 so we had the perfect view over the city. Just wish the windows had been cleaned. Our view was a little cloudy! On one occasion we had music outside the park for us to listen to! Plus we watched some lads playing soccer. Room sizes were good. Beds were supercosy with good selection of pillows. The decor was a little tired and could do with freshening up. There was a musty damp scent in the room on arrival which we resolved by opening the window. This must be due to the climate where its warm and wet in Winter. Breakfast was lovely each morning with lots of choice. Just wish they had some plant based alternatives. E.g soya milk, margarine etc. Outside the Wish hotel is a park which a huge monument and fountain, if you wish to take a morning stroll/jog. There are council exercise machines next to the childrens playground. We were fortunate to see Capoeira training going on. Other than that there is nothing else. A short cab ride away will take you to Bahia shopping mall - Really good food court on ground floor here - Oriental, Italian and Brazilian. Plus a good place to do a money exchange. Cash is king here guys! The tourist spots like praca da sa, Pelourinho, Rio Vermelho etc are 1.5 miles away. Hotel taxis accept card payments. Which is really convenient. Be prepared to hold on to dear life when taking a random taxi from the street. Some drive like lunatics. Our taxi from airport to hotel was like this. Maybe its worth booking a hotel transfer with Wish. Overall if I could afford the Fasano I would stay there for the luxury plus location,but if you require something more easy on the pocket and away from the madness of the tourist areas, I would choose Wish de Bahia. I stayed for 6 days and loved the hotel, excellent location, exceptional breakfast, always with animal protein options besides eggs, many breads and cakes, the bed of the room was very comfortable and the excellent linens, Hotel staff (mainly women) very nice and educated, the shower of the room a delicious

I have been a guest in this small hotel many times, I think for a 3 star it is of a good standard. The sea view rooms, some with balconies are delightful, thanks to the view. The bathroom is spacious. Its best thing is breakfast and chá da tarde, a gastronomic break offered in the afternoon, with sweet and savory options. The location is one of the best in Salvador, a neighborhood facing the sea but at the back full of restaurants, bars, museums, ancient buildings and many things to see. It's just a pity that the beach in front is not suitable for swimming. In a few minutes by bus or taxi you can reach the praia do flamengo, one of the best in the city.

You're going to get away from this place. You're treating the client with total disrespect and disrespect. I booked for Booking 20 days before the trip. When I arrived at the check-in, the hotel team reported that it had no rooms available, that the rooms were not in a position to receive guests and therefore were blocked, and that Booking was making the rooms available for an error of the hotel. Booking systems and they had no way to change that. They said it was not possible to contact who booked because Booking does not provide any form of contact, which is a lie because I received a confirmation email with a message from the ”Team Oyo” a few days after booking. It was so lie that the next day the No-Show fee was still collected and they sent a message saying I didn't appear after confirming the reservation. the lack of communication between the network managers and the hotel team, and I am thinking of the state of conservation of the rooms to have such treatment. we were not the only, during the time we tried to solve had other 3 guests who arrived and had the I had to look for another hotel at 21:00, after hours of travel and rainfall, with travel costs.

I liked the accommodations, however there is no telephone / intercom in the room, it is necessary to have a whatsapp contact, provided by them, for everything you need, I found it quite uncomfortable. Towels very shabby (rough), they should be replaced. Good breakfast, but with few seats, you have to wait depending on the time you arrive. Good cleanliness, attentive and helpful maids. There is a fridge in the room, but without any products inside. You can bring it from outside or ask them via whatsapp.

This hotel does what it does well for the low cost. It is in a good location in a safe area of town. A rocky beach (not for swimming) is right outside, and although the rooms don't directly look out to sea, it was nice to be able to hear the ocean. The staff are friendly and helpful and although many speak some English, it is useful to be able to speak a little Portuguese . Breakfast was good, but dinner less so - on the night I ate in the restaurant the buffet wasn't on, and I suspect this would be better than ordering off the menu. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Overall no complaints for the cost.

The hotel environment is very good, the top open-air swimming pool can directly enjoy the Atlantic view, good morning is also very good, fruit is rich. The room has a small balcony, you can sit directly in the room and blow the Atlantic sea breeze, the overall price is very high.

In my journey to the Savior I stayed hospitable in him when I arrived and one day before I returned. (day 03/02 and day 08/02) The room that placed us in the first hosting was good, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good, only that it had a threat to one person and we were a couple. The room they put us in our second stay was bad, the bed was extremely soft, the bathroom was all flooded by leaving water from the shower box, the room available was just a shampoo. The breakfast coffee is reasonable, it's simple and few options. The water served in the jar is of the tower and has a strong taste of chlorine. The reception staff are not the most receptible. Only a woman who doesn't remember my name took my doubt about the dinner they served and was well educated, because the guy who was taking me up was not taking care of.

We come from Germany and this hotel was recommended to me in advance by friends. And it is really great! We also recommend it very much! The quiet location directly on the beautiful beach is paradise! The owner welcomed us very warmly and always took time for a nice chat with us and had helpful travel tips. The service is great, the staff very friendly and the food excellent! The incredibly varied breakfast is prepared with love and offers every day different delicious highlights. The hotel is the perfect place to relax by the pool or sea and really enjoy yourself! We will definitely like to come back!
