Location was actually fantastic as it was jut off of I-81 and convenient to the Moyer Sport complex for a tournament Had a block of 8 double rooms They were clean and what was nice was the little sitting area Had requested rooms to be together ad on the top floor if possible Those in our group arrived at different times over the course of the day and the property did give us rooms together and on the top floor Booked online and the rate I was able to book at was reasonable Agree with other who say the property need a face lift but it was clean Ice makers though out the hotel didn't work for the 4 days we were there and there were several ice makers Breakfast was pretty bad after one day of hotel breakfast the McDonalds nearby was a better option The breakfast are was not well stocked There was a lack of food as this woman didn't replenish foods from the buffet She didn't wash the tables after guest left the trash cans in the breakfast area were so full you couldn't put anything else in them so dirty plates and cups began stacking up on the tables There was one woman at front desk who was So rude and nasty the you hated checking in with here she wasn't friendly at all however others at front desk were SO much nicer There were several other teams at this property for the same time frame and were not lucky enough to be on the top floor and said that families with children were very inconsiderate or other guest by letting the kids run up and down the halls and stomp and jump on the floor creating an annoyance if you were on a floor below them Since we were on the top floor and all of our rooms were together we didn't have to deal with poorly behaved kids

We were in town for the memorial service of a close friend. So we just needed a place to lay our heads for 1 night. The updates that were done to hotel make it more modern with a traditional feel. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. Breakfast was yummy and the coffee was good too (I am kind of a coffee snob). Our room was updated in decor. It could use some updates to the doors and popcorn paint (which I know is common in this area of VA). Pillows were ample, not as comfortable as I would prefer. We were able to secure rooms next door to our friends. We did make that request at the time of reservation. Staff was kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express but had Wyndham Rewards Points to use. It was every bit as nice. Looked recently renovated. Nice breakfast but not as many choices as HIE. Would gladly stay again. The pool looked nice and clean but we did not use it. Employees were very nice.

Everything was great except the breakfast. I know COVID changed the breakfasts but at this point Fairfield Inn needs to go back to the way it was. There were no bread, english muffin or bagel options. Just premade breakfast sandwiches and omelets. The slim pickings had us change our plans and hit Cracker Barrel instead. This is shame. I guess the days of the oatmeal pot and waffle maker are gone for good. I hope the powers that be can improve the breakfasts because I'm a loyal Marriott customer but for the money, I'd be better off spending a little more on a night at the Springhill Suites line to get a better breakfast rather than Fairfield Inn since I wound up paying for a breakfast elsewhere

We stayed here 2 nights under two different reservations as we didn't know we'd be in town the 2nd night. The first night, room 125, was pleasant enough. Lacked a little in the way of cleanliness but you could tell there had been an attempt to clean it. Second night, room 101, really lacked in cleanliness. Old coffee still in the coffee pot, pretty sure dried nasal mucus on the bathroom wall, pee spots on the floor in front of the toilet. The heat in 101 was temperamental, we either roasted at 71 or froze at 70. Breakfast was okay enough for us, yogurt, banana, waffle. There is a Hardees, McDonald's, and Starbucks within walking distance. To end on a good note, all the employees we encountered during check-in and check-out were extremely friendly and welcoming. We would stay again when traveling through the area.

This place was crowded with barely any parking left. Though there would be a lot of noise in the hallways but the night ended up being very quiet. Hotel is very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful for local restaurants choices.
