It's the second time we go. The service is good, but in the room the bathtub is too high making access and exit difficult. Average food, maybe too much sauce and not enough vegetables to choose from. The views and the room were very good.

Went with jet2 all inclusive package holiday. Room had been refurbished so was ok Sea view but paid extra Had kettle which is a bonus. And a small fridge to keep drinks cool My tip...its like a Spanish butlins! Hotel management is non existent!definitely not 4 stars like jet2 gave it! No customer care although a lovely lady on reception called paloma was really helpful. The entertainment team were really good if you could speak Spanish. Place needs shut down and given a real deep clean outside! The photos show just how grubby the outdoor areas are. The pool is filthy and the grates and pool edgings are covered in green moss and dirt. As are the outside showers and in and around the sun loungers. We watched groundsman trying to paint over the scum around the edge of the pool! The grounds are filthy and the umbrellas and white loungers have seen better days. Not enough shelter or sunbeds for everyone. It was a battle every day to try get a space to relax. No satisfaction at all having spoken to the manager and jet2 reps.very poor customer support. Unless you were a local. Definitely not for anyone other than families who don't mind total chaos sat around filthy pools and grounds. Food was OK. Same thing most days but edible.. Near the sea but beach is awful..hard stoney gravel full of dust. Nothing in or around the area really.

We travelled as a family of 4 in August 2024. We booked through Jet2 and had excellent service - the flights and transfers were all on time and seamless. We were the first stop on the coach, around a 30-40min journey. At check-in we had to pay €40 cash for our all-inclusive wristbands. This was for the last day in case you want to carry on eating etc after 12 (if not, you get your deposit back). The timings were: Breakfast 8.00-10.30 / Lunch 13.30-15.30 / Dinner 19.30-22.00. We found this quite late as our kids are 5 & 7 so we were always first in, but this is obviously the norm in Spanish culture as they were often queuing for dinner at 9.30pm. In between the main mealtimes they serve snacks (hot dogs, burgers, nuggets, chips), slush, ice lollies, donuts, pancakes, etc. The food is decent. Varied but a bit repetitive. We’re all vegetarian (one pescatarian) and my son is quite a fussy eater, but we all managed fine. Kids loved the ice-cream station and chocolate fountain night. All the restaurant staff seemed to work really hard to keep it running. We paid extra for a sea view room which had the added bonus of a sunny balcony, and meant we could dry all our swimming stuff quickly each day. The WiFi didn’t work in room until the second-to-last day. We mentioned it at reception but they said there was nothing they could do. I guess it’s not an issue for most Spanish guests but it was for us. Room looked recently refurbished. Good shower and bathroom was spotless. The air con was quite poor which meant nights were a bit uncomfortable. The TV had Disney channel, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, etc. The algae round the pool is an issue and I ruined a bikini on the first day by sitting on the side. I saw them scrubbing it on a morning but it obviously doesn’t make much difference. Overall the pools were great though and my son loved the slides. We estimated a split of around 80% Spanish / 20% English guests (maybe the occasional French family). This was fine but did mean that the entertainment was mostly in Spanish, with the odd line in English to try and follow along. Having said that, the Animación team worked so hard and were always trying to get us involved. The Aqua aerobics class was brilliant and the guy in particular had so much energy. It was more like a show than an exercise class! There is a big shopping centre called the Gran Plaza about a 10-min walk away. It has a H&M, Primark, Toys R Us, McDonalds, Claire’s, JD, etc. We got the bus from the Gran Plaza into Almería (about a 25 min journey). Almería has a good castle (Game of Thrones was filmed there) but not a huge amount else. Worth a trip though to break up the holiday. The area in general is surprisingly humid to say it’s right by the sea. Our only real issue was on return at Almeria airport. They have a ridiculous system where you have to queue to get into your gate and it meant we nearly missed our flight and had to cut through the queue. So make sure you get in the queue early

The hotel is large with good facilities. It can get busy, so pay attention to the advice regarding meal times and activities. Room was spacious, spotless and easy to locate with several stair cases and lifts. It's worth taking your own shampoo/ conditioner etc but it can also be bought on site or over the road at a local shop. In room showe gel and shampoo is also provided. Beds are comfortable. Hairdryer, mini fridge, TV and plenty of plug sockets. The pools are spacious with plenty to do and plenty of loungers available. It's worth getting loungers early if a specific area is wanted. The hotel is basically on the beach, so should you fancy a change of scene or its too busy at the pools its a 1 minute walk away. There are continuous and varied activities for all ages that are managed by the superb entertainment team. There really is something for everyone from fitness to sports to aqua gym and family games. Shout out to Manuel who brought out so many smiles and fun with his aqua gym at 12pm. The good is great quality and varied. It's definitely worth chosing all inclusive. Plenty for fussy English children and snacks available throughout the day. The staff work tirelessly to ensure meal times run smoothly and are an asset to the brand. The highlight of our holiday has to be the entertainment staff. From AM to PM those guys and girls work so hard to make each day entertaining, fresh and fun. There are nightly discos for children and nightly evening entertainment. Shout out to Dennis who made the holiday for our girls, we can't thank him enough. I would recommend this hotel a thousand times over.

Avoid if you are not multi cultural, going out of this hotel for anything is like being in a zombie apocalypse where nobody likes you or speaks English... In house is better but you are outcast by rude bar staff and Spanish entertainment all day. Entertainers do try but find comfort in there own and move on quickly. We were all inclusive (so we thought) 11am til 11pm is not all inclusive in my book, not being able to even get a coffee or cold drink before 11 is unacceptable, never experienced that all inclusive ever and Jet2 do not make this clear when booking. No drinks machines to even buy anything either, get some bottles of water and keep in fridge is my tip Bar Staff are rude and the quing is horrendous, with only 2 staff working i felt it a stalling tactic. Every drink have 4 large pieces of ice, another money saving tip from management? Ask for no ice and they look you up and down... Won't serve drinks in big containers, only small so you end up having 2 which leads to extra litter and over run bins around the pool. Why you can't vend cold drinks yourself would cure the waiting times... this is only available in the restaurant and not poolside, why? Main pool is dirty, maintenance spotted jet washing into pool and I didn't see anyone testing the very murky water prior to opening which is possibly why my family had a serious sickness bug which was very unpleasant and so did many guests we spoke to when leaving. Ive rated this hotel at 3 star as i feel 4 star this is not Dated in places although eating area is newly refurbished and our room to, beds were comfy TBF I would recommend upgrading room as the standard does not keep children in a separate room and therefore everyone is together in the room, 2 children sharing a double bed. Air con is very poor and integrated (not a spearate unit you can control) so you can't control it at all. Keep door shut, curtains closed and lights off all day is the best solution to keeping room cold, this needs doing all day and whilst sleeping - very uncomfortable Food OK, not much variety at tea time. Breakfast was best Be careful with the dodgy Spanish man in the arcade who likes to refuse prizes to your children as "they have won enough" bearing in mind we probably spent 50 euro a day in there. When confronted... the kids got their prizes - very dodgy Slides were good, the beach and sea I wished we would have gone on more what put me off was you had to pay extra for sun beds (5 euro each), the breeze was nicer on the beach, the poolside was like an oven and uncomfortable at times, extra sun umbrellas 16 euro to buy and they are needed as little shaded areas. 30+ degrees everyday, another money spinner for the hotel. If managed better this hotel could be so much better, maybe its the Spanish way? I won't be returning Cheap and Cheerful holiday all in all, you get what you pay for I guess. Wasn't bad but wasn't great

Just arrived home from a week there with three families, 6 adults & 5 kids. Overall a okay stay but this hotel has quite a few issues. Outside area - Only two pool. The main one was very murky & dirty. Very busy. The smaller one I preferred but was small & tiles coming off. Positive there were plenty of sun beds & always had one for all of us. Food - very very busy. Mostly had to queue to even get in and then was very much like a cattle market once inside but this was peak august. They do have quiet & busy times but overall wasn’t pleasant. Food was nice. Plenty of choice but very repetitive. All inclusive drinks only 11am - 11pm. Not even soft drinks! Cleanliness - exception to the pool, overall very clean though our sheets were not changed all week. Staff - Very polite & nice. Though many didn’t speak much English which was a challenge. Entertainment - poor, didn’t start until 9.30pm & was all in Spanish and queuing time at the bar was horrendous. Location - €10 taxi to restaurants & overall very good value. Overall - this is a very Spanish location and I did find a lot of the other guests were rude & felt very unwelcome so I would not return to this hotel or location. It’s cheap & cheerful & you get what you pay for. I particularly don’t like queuing & being pushed & shoved while on holiday.

This was an amazing holiday! The food was delicious. It's doesn't matter what your preferences are because you'll find so many different sorts of dishes that will suit everyone. Thanks for the great time to the animation team! My 12 years old daughters were playing different games every day. Animators were also doing interesting competitions for adults as well. We had fun playing. Our family is very thankful for the good memories we made! I would recommend this place for the great family time!

What can I say… such a lovely hotel with so much to do!! Only 30 mins transfer from the airport, We got there and was checked in straight away ( 10 euro deposit for wristbands on arrival / 200euro for deposit on apartments which is understandable) we received these back straight away on leaving. Rooms are lovely and spacious,, includes hairdryer, kettle ( cups, coffee, tea included ) towels and daily cleaning/making up beds. Easy access to rooms and apartments. We went as a family so viewed rooms and apartments ( apartments had washing machines/microwaves ect) We had the best time over the 11 days ALL staff were lovely… nothing was too much to ask.. massive shout out to Dennis & Nacho the entertainment staff that worked there socks off to keep everyone happy. People we’ll never forget!! Always games, competitions always something to get involved with! Dining area has been refurbed and is lovely… breakfast 7:30am-10:00am /lunch 1:30-3:30 / evening meals 7:30-10:00 were lovely and lots to choose from… my sons a picky eater but always managed to find something. Inbetween these times they open a buffet of hotdogs/burgers/toasties/nuggets from 12-1 then they re-open again at 5-6 for donuts/picky puddings! Where else can you get pancakes/donuts for brekkie!! So constantly something to choose from. Selection of drinks all free and crisps and nuts from both bars. Entertainment on the evening was good too with kids club and certificates given out to all ages at 10:15pm. I’d defo recommend this hotel and jet 2 package if you like a chilled out pool holiday. Pools lovely and clean, slides are great for kids and adults too!! It’s only a bus ride into the town and a bus ride to go-karts/harbour. One little shop inside the hotel and a bigger shop just outside. They have a market on a Thursday which is nice too right outside. A grand plaza at the top of the street with McDonald’s/Primark ect. Local bullring 10 mins walk and recommend the visit between the times of 10-1 / 5-8pm but closed Sundays and Mondays. There’s a pool table/ table tennis , volley ball courts, football court for all ages!! Beach we didn’t really visit but was like gravely sand. Had so much to do in the hotel I’ll defo be returning in a few years to see if anything has changed ( looks like they will be building hotels outside and improving the local area) What I will say is take your own ciggys/bacca as shops are a good bus ride away and don’t stock a lot! But 100% recommend this hotel. Can’t wait to go back!!! ❤️ Thanks to Dennis & Nacho for making holiday memories with us.. you guys are awesome! Xxx
