What an elegant oasis in the middle of a busy city! The rooms are larger than most in Rome, and the ambience was amazing. The pool and spa was so welcome after a busy day sightseeing. The food was delicious too. Don’t hesitate to treat yourself to this lovely hotel.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Palazzo Talia. While the food and initial service were satisfactory, I was subjected to unfair and discriminatory treatment. As I was leaving the restaurant, I was stopped multiple times by staff who accused me of not paying, even though I had already settled my bill and provided proof of payment. Despite showing my receipt, I was humiliated by being forced to return to my table to show the proof again. This experience felt particularly discriminatory, and I was left with the impression that I was being treated this way solely because of my skin color. Rather than an apology, I was told not to make a scene. In 2024, it is unacceptable for such incidents to occur. I hope that the management will take steps to ensure all customers are treated with respect and equality, regardless of their background. Until then, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Don't know what they're doing here. A hotel of only 26 rooms and a staff of what must be 100 people can't get a room ready by the promised 3:00pm. Instead, the lobby is littered with weary travellers being ignored and snickered about by staff at the front desk. If you dare politely ask on a status of your room, you're snidely dismissed and they just turn away from you. Front desk team are useless and snotty. For $1k-$2k a night, this spot must do way better instead of trying to coast on the tails of its director-founder's fame. Do not recommend at all.

As a city, Rome is a feast for your senses. The imposing ancient sites, flavorful gelato bursting on your tongue, the sound of thousands of feet on cobblestones, feeling that you're part of history -- it has everything for everyone, almost overwhelmingly so. But if you're looking for calm in the storm, a place that has style, grace, and oozes luxury in the best way look no further than Palazzo Talia. Recently opened, Palazzo Talia is really more than just a place to stay it is the best modern example of a 5-star hotel I have found in recent memory. It's just a few minutes away from the Trevi Foundation and the city center. Of course, the hotel is teeming with history, it was a school of nobility, and that sense of history is displayed in gorgeous frescos, marble busts and so much more. However, referential to history this is a modern hotel. The bathrooms are large with brilliant lighting, the decor is elegant and innovative but not fussy; the food (more on that later) is fresh, delicious and worth staying in the hotel for. We couldn't believe the incredibly Instagramable hotel bar wasn't filled to the max every night, but given more time I have no doubt this is going to be a new "hot spot" in town. There are a few things the hotel could work on. There needs to be way more storage in the bathroom for toiletries and hooks for clothes. A full-length mirror in the bedroom would be welcome as well. The elevator was having an issue but seemed to be resolved by the time we left, and we had a small miscommunication with a food order -- but all these were minor issues. Given all of that -- what makes Palazzo Talia truly remarkable, what makes the difference in any 5-star hotel, is the staff. "G" is a no-nonsense female General Manager running the show and it shows! You will just as likely see her encouraging the young staff as you are seeing her greeting guests or rolling up her sleeves to get something done. I still think of Chef Marco Coppola's ravioli to this day. His kitchen is putting out some of the best meals that we had in Rome, and he and his team are kind, patient, provide excellent service, and will give you the best recommendations. Truly, the entire team at Palazzo Talia is top notch, everyone working together to make this hotel great and to make your stay unforgettable. And it was, unforgettable.

Our 2 night stay was an absolute 5 star service and more from beginning to end at the stunning Palazzo Talia. We arrived the day after their official opening and were warmly greeted by the operations manager Ginevra and her wonderful team. Despite some works still ongoing and in progress it did not affect our stay at all and infact we got to experience being one of the first to be in our gorgeous room. What stood out was the exceptional service and the professionalism from every person who we had contact with during our stay. It was my partner’s 60th Birthday and the staff made his birthday so special and memorable by upgrading our room together with complimentary bar, surprising him with a bottle of bubbly and cake which was bought to our room by Dario and his colleague. Breakfast in our room felt like a private dining experience in itself and our food was beautifully presented by the exceptional service and warmth of the staff. Also big thanks to Dario for recommending Drink Kong and for reserving us a table at such short notice, we had some amazing cocktails. What features we loved about this beautiful hotel was the space and light in our room. The walk in wardrobe with full length mirrors and lights. The bathroom, particularly the shower room and bath tub was in itself so big and spacious. The queen size bed was so comfortable and so big that it felt like we were sleeping in our own beds. The room service and cleaning was carried out daily and we loved that every evening we came back to our room there was a bottle of water on our bedside tables. The hotel corridor leading to the bedrooms were just so stunning. We can’t wait to return to experience this beautiful hotel in its full glory. If you want to experience luxury at its best you will not be disappointed with your stay here. Thank you to every person who made our first experience at the Palazzo Talia so special and memorable. You really know how to make your guests feel special and so welcomed. With warm regards Nirmal & Marcello
