My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 10 days for our honeymoon after receiving a recommendation from a friend. When we first arrived we were disappointed because the room had not been cleaned adequately (dirty carpet, stains and dead bugs in the bathroom) and despite informing the hotel we were coming for our honeymoon we didn’t receive any special welcome, for example a note or message from the hotel or chocolate gift as we saw others receive on Instagram. We complained to the reception about the cleanliness and the next morning the room was cleaned to our expectations, we were happy with how the complaint was handled. The hotel room we were given was an ocean view on the 10th floor. The view was amazing and we loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. However we feel that for the price and star rating of the hotel, the rooms need to be refurbished, the room feels dated and the bathroom finishings are not befitting of the hotel we expected from the pictures; messy paintwork and grouting, broken wooden furniture, poor quality shower and at one point there was no hot water so our first night was cold showers. We have stayed in lower and similarly priced and rated hotels and the quality of the room and bathrooms were better than this hotel. We used the tennis courts and gym during our stay which was a nice option. We both had the tropical Spa experience which was a wonderful and relaxing experience and the Spa staff were great. We chose the all inclusive option at the hotel and we were not disappointed with the selections available and the high quality of food on offer from the restaurants. The service from the staff at the restaurants was wonderful. The location of the hotel is excellent, after exploring the area we determined it has the best location of all the hotels in Ipanema / Leblon / Copacabana, because of the direct beach access to a “private” beach. Halfway through the stay we received a note in our room to say there was a problem with the pre payment and amount of consumption. We were very surprised because we had the all inclusive option and had not taken anything not included. We called the reception to inquire about the problem and the person was not able to explain what was the problem. (My wife is Brazilian so language was not the problem). We had to go down to the reception to speak with someone else, where we were told that the pre payment taken by the hotel was not enough to cover the cost of our stay (10 days) and so an additional payment was needed. The hotel knew we were staying for 10 days and should have known the total cost of our stay (excluding extras not included Ina lol inclusive), and taken the payment up front, rather than send us an ambiguously and informally written letter, halfway through the stay which the staff could not explain on the Phone. This was an annoying inconvenience and not a nice experience which the hotel could have very easily avoided. To be 5 stars and for us to consi

good hotel. check-in was very full and the rooms took a while to be released, but nothing crazy. Rooms are good and faithful to the photos, but the cleaning left something to be desired - stained towels. good location!

Nice experience. It was a beautiful surprise to discover the place. The decoration is beautiful, the rooms very clean, excellent air conditioning. Also excellent kitchen service, excellent quality in general. I liked that they had a cowork space where you can work in peace too. There was very good attention and very good service from the staff, for example Alice and Fernanda, very nice and attentive to help. A totally recommended place.

I made a reservation of two rooms for the days 24/07/22 to 27/07/22 of B&B hotel post 5 copacabana by platform hoteis.com we opened the communication attempt at 25/07/22 and until the moment I received no return from B&B Hotel post 5 copacabana and even from hoteis.com We did a petfriendly room reservation at the hotel with safe travels hygiene process, but we arrived yesterday at the hotel and only had problems. The bathroom is full of lime, the door of the balcony is not closed completely causing noise all night, there is a green light router in the room that is on 24h, the couple bed in fact are two old single beds with shaved mole. In addition, when they arrived here, they asked me to walk with the dogs on the neck all the time, and in the exchange of the message I had to book, they only reported that the dog could not walk free but even in the guide they involved. The inlet of the hotel, the sensor, doesn't recognize that it is going through and closes what has hurt me. I spoke to the security at the inlet and he said that, and so, and he couldn't do anything for me. The hotel has no parking but I hoped the officials could provide information on how and the city's rotating parking but also did not know and we had to wake up at 6 a.m. to search for a transit guard to get Information in the reservation was written that we were coming with the Pets and it would be my birthday, which the attendance did not make it a matter of congratulating at any time, they also spoke that the system does not allow reading the information exchanged with VCS. I stayed there for five nights in January 2020, and have only good things to say about the hotel. Nice and clean room, good food in the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff (with good advices about where to go - and not to go), great location (400 meters from Copacabana beach and across the street from Cardeal Arcoverde metro station) and in a pretty busy and safe part of the city, with many shops and restaurants. Not too expensive rooms. They can also offer transport to the international airport for 25 real. That's much cheaper than taxi!

The hotel follows the standard of comfort and excellence that is expected from an ibis. I closed the pool (because I was looking for a hotel in the center with a pool) when I arrived I was informed that the pool was of Novotel for a fee of 63 reals, which should be informed as well as the purchase of breakfast and parking. I looked again on the site to see where it was written and I didn't find it, I was very disappointed because I could have closed another hotel with a similar value. The team's care was wonderful, taking this disappointment we had a great stay.

I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

Very good place. I recommend. However, I had the misfortune of staying on the lower floors where the TVs are still old and the sound from the street makes it difficult to rest.

Super pleasant service, clean and very comfortable rooms. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Best choice! Hotel with great value for money. Attentive and friendly staff, good location, very close to the main tourist attractions, hearty breakfast and everything fresh. There are some homeless people nearby, but I didn't feel unsafe as there are plenty of police officers. We will definitely choose the hotel on our next visit to the river to enjoy an excellent experience again.
