#positive #I was happy with the Convenience of Transport, Nearby Shops, Nearby Restaurants, Safety, Room Size; The room is bright and clean, with complete facilities. There are convenient shopping and dining options around the hotel. There is also a Guanya supermarket not far away where you can buy all kinds of Chinese food. Except for the fact that there was no smile during the check-in process, everything else was perfect!

We stayed 2 nights. We were greeted by very friendly check in staff. We had a large room with a king bed. A couch that you could turn into a bed. USB charges/plug ins on each side of the bed with tables and lamps. Neat and clean room with a very comfortable bed and pillows. A mini-fridge which kept things cold. Microwave with a small bar sink below it. Large windows in the room which allowed lots of light in. We found the room to be quite. The hotel also has a pool with a water slide and hot tub. A gym and a room if you need to do laundry in. Attached to the hotel is Mavado Restaurant and bakery. Had a very enjoyable breakfast. Alos is a cold beer and wine store and Mavdo lounge with a pool table. One thing that stands out was the hand wrote note when we got to our room. It said they are glad we are here and to let them know if we need anything. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Very Good Service. I recently stayed at here and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. A special shout-out to Ma. May Nuguid, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable with her exceptional service. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back! ❤️

Customer Services was awesome! May is easy to talk to and very accommodating. It's easy to request for something and you won't feel any rudeness unlike other hotels eventho they are busy. Would recommend. Look for May if you asking for help.

The hotel was very nice and clean! The pool and water slide were fun. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay! Overall, it was an excellent experience, I would recommend the stay here to anyone needing a hotel room.

They did ok work renovating the place apart from the bathrooms and I just wouldn’t stay there again due to all the gym equipment being broken or malfunctioning. The seat on the bicycle wouldn’t stay in place and very small room. Staff is very nice and useful so if they were to improve the gym and fully renovate I would go back. Just no pride of ownership.

I highly recommend this Holiday Inn! I can't believe that there are so many negative reviews. I enjoyed my stay because of the cleanliness, comfortable rooms and the staff is very friendly with good customer service. I enjoyed the breakfast too! You can purchase a breakfast for $10 and it's worth it. The breakfast is homemade and in the adjoining restaurant. Another nice thing about the hotel is its location as it's within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Don't let the negative reviews deter you!

My experience with the hotel staff was amongst the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. One thing after another, I truly feel that the evening shift worker went out of her way to make my stay as difficult as possible citing all of her obstacles as “policies”. Some of the issues that I encounters, but not all, include being told I can’t check in without a credit card. Not only is this discrimination and something I’ve never encountered at any other Holiday Inn location, it simply makes no sense. Eventually they let me check in with a $300 deposit (as opposed to $50 for guests with a credit card). Staff at the hotel obviously don’t have any training regarding service animals. I was told “that my pet isn’t allowed on the 3d floor”. So many things wrong with that statement I’m not going to dissect it all, I’m simply going to encourage management to read into the law and advise their staff accordingly. At check out, no luggage carts and the front desk agent treated me as if I was a group of 20 spring break college kids and sent a housekeeping crew into the room to verify I didn’t trash it before handing my deposit back. No idea why I was treated this way but I cannot recommend this hotel. One obstacle after another, I left so angry that I was shaking.

What can you expect from this Holiday Inn? Well moldy peeled back wallpaper, duct tape holding the window together. It's awful, response from management/owner equally awful. You can really tell they take great pride in their hotel #sarcasm...

Worst experience. I have never stayed in a hotel that turned off the water before checkout. Woke up both days i stayed to discover there was no water the first day and no hot water the second day. So i went 2 days without a shower. All they did at checkout was offer me points on a membership i dont have nor will i ever want as i will never stay at holiday inn again.

This hotel was clean, the staff were personable and efficient. Our room was well stocked and clean, with fresh towels and good products for our use. We were bringing our baby and dog, who felt right at home. We even enjoyed the pool and hot tub. In the morning, my husband had observed a bat outside and one of the maintenance men was trying to catch it. He thought it was funny, we are both animal lovers, so we laughed about a sleeping bat at a hotel. It had been rough weather the day before so it had probably been blown there and camped out for the day as they are nocturnal. However, when we came out to bring our luggage to the car, I witnessed the man suffocating the bat in a bag, with a broom holding it down. This was really upsetting to see. I understand you wouldn't want a bat INSIDE your hotel but it was outside of it and it definitely didn't need to be killed, let alone dying in a bag when sleeping. There are more humane ways of dealing with an unwanted animal, and it most likely wouldn't have been there the next day. Next time, choose to be kind, Holiday Inn.
