Redwood City Hotels with Wi-Fi

This is your typical run-of-the-mill hotel made for business travelers. It's one of the smaller Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at, with narrower hallways and a small hotel lobby. Service is excellent here. Jose from front desk was super welcoming and gave me late checkout, no questions asked (probably due to platinum IHG status). Breakfast is your typical mass produced sausages and powdered eggs with other continental breakfast staples. Room was very comfortable. The only odd part is the bathroom door doesn't stay open. Otherwise, would 100% stay again.

We recently held a unique special reunion of co-workers spanning 32 years at The Grand Bay in Redwood City and was immensely impressed with EVERYONE at the hotel. Laura Urbina, Director of Sales & Marketing is amazing!!! She was very responsive, flexible and worked with us on every detail (even added her own unique surprise to ensure the evening be more special)! We utilized The Scroll Bar for the 120+person event and was perfect in every way. The food was delicious, well presented and thoroughly enjoyed by all as we had options covering all dietary requirements 😀. The bartenders never missed a beat and handled our group and even hotel patrons during the evening with impressive service and attention. Creative speciality cocktails created by Micheal (head bartender), was a huge hit! If looking for the perfect location with a a perfect group of individuals to handle your perfect event, The Grand Bay in Redwood City IS THE best choice. Many stayed at the hotel and all were greeted warmly upon check in and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. As a professional event planner with over 27 years experience handling some very high profile events, I wish there was ability to give The Grand Bay 10+ stars! This hotel is so much better than any in San Francisco or Bay Area, this is the new ”go to” hotel! Will definitely look forward to doing other events there at any opportunity as well as our next reunion! I live locally, and plan to make The Scroll Bar/Restaurant my new favorite. Food and service great!! Sit out on patio at fire pit and enough the water views...love The Grand Bay!

I have to say The Good Nite Inn-Redwood City was an unexpected pleasurable hotel. I had booked a room for 4 nights in Burlingame, with my debit card. After a long day, & long drive we arrive only to be told there having sum issues. And we cannot check in. Mind you, it's the day before fourth of July . So we spend next hour trying to find an available room . Call after call gets us nowhere, and I am starting to panic. Then I call the good nite inn , & speak with Renee. She says she thinks there may be a c9ôancellation. She returns to phone call and tells me yes, there , is. She hears the panic & desperation in my voice. So she asks me how fast I can get there. Telling me just to relax & just get there . Needless to say .....she turned my whole bad day around into a beautiful. Holiday. Thank you soo much

This hotel is a bit out of the way from the center of Redwood City but has very good amenities. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is odd that housekeeping service is optional and only on offer every other day at most. Another undesirable holdover of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nice pool and gym facilities on site. The Bistro in the lobby area serves Starbucks coffee, nice breakfasts and quick suppers. The pantry by the front desk has a good variety of snacks & refreshments on offer, though the prices are steep. Staff are friendly and helpful

This was the second place I stayed in Redwood City and it was soooo much better. Most importantly, it was clean!! Appears to have been recently remodeled, memory foam mattress, new paint, blinds and fixtures. The front desk employee (BM) was excellent - he was friendly, considerate, helpful and hardworking-he was always there whether it 8am or 9pm! Good location - Franklin Cafe across street-excellent breakfast, Whole foods next door, many other shops and food across street. Train located by cafe. My review is based on what was important to me HOWEVER, website says pool - there isn't one but there is a nice seating area where pool was/is supposed to be. When I was there breakfast is continental - juice, toast, muffins and coffee. I would definitely stay again!

A total of two floors, an outdoor pool, the room is clean! The room smelled a bit when I was in, and I couldn't smell it after I opened the door for a while. There are many Mexicans and Chinese. After staying for a few days, they met many Chinese.

The hotel hardware is OK, but the service is average! The swimming pool is unavailable! The parking is crowded and the car is full! The sign of the hotel at the intersection is not easy to find, it is not obvious, it is easy to overdo it as soon as it opens, it can only be general!

Exceptional room! It was exactly what we wanted. It was very quiet, if you need earplugs they provide them but we didn’t need them at all! The fire alarm was set off by someone upstairs smoking at 4:30 am, which was stressful but it was resolved in a very timely manner and I appreciate the professionalism of the staff on hand concerning this. Very walkable area, close to great restaurants and cafes. We would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit the Bay Area as it’s a 5-7 minute walk to the CalTrain station that can take you to Silicon Valley as well as San Fransisco. Amazing!

I'm surprised there's not been a review here in the last 2+ years. In that time, i'm guessing they've made improvements? I was very happy to find a microwave oven in the room. Also, because i'd come in early October when the morning weather had been on the nippy side, i was very thankful that the air con also had a 'heater' setting. Missing from the room, though, was something to make hot water with, and there was no in-room safe. Also, there seemed to be an inadequate amount of parking spaces. The southeast Asian lady at reception was ever-so-friendly, though! While many inns offer some sort of cheap breakfast, Seq Inn doesn't even bother, which is fine, since there's enough eateries nearby. (I booked for one night just to be close to SFO to fly out the next day - plans to go right up the 101 were scuttled by a crash, so i took the 280 which turned out to be a very pleasant and uncrowded alternative)
