The hotel accepts foreigners. The room was spacious and clean, with all necessary amenities. The location is fairly central, and a short bus/taxi ride will take you to the major attractions (it's located just between Laolongtou and Shanhaiguan scenic area). Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great and varied, mostly Chinese but with good Western options if you prefer. The staff was very nice, gave me apples and two extra bottles of water because it took them a bit to figure out how to register me. Overall, a very good option and great value for money.

Not a good hotel management: 1. My wife and I have been traveling around China for a month now and they have never checked our visas or asked us again if it was a visa. 2. We arrived at 10:00 in the morning and left our bags. The hotel administrator looked at our passports for half an hour and told us to come back after 14:00, although no one had refused us for a month if we checked in before 12:00. 3. We arrived in the evening to check in to this hotel, and again half an hour was stolen by the hotel administrator, who asked stupid questions: I am 46 years old, is this my wife? Conclusion: the administrator is in her head! She twisted and turned all the pages in her passport. 4. It was unpleasant to even check into such a hotel, by the way, we did not see anyone there. 5.
