Unexpectedly, this is a six-star hotel. I didn't have high hopes for a new Chinese hotel like Qingdao, but I didn't expect the stay experience to be really beyond the standard hotel of 2-3k. The facilities and services are excellent. Takeaways can be picked up and delivered to the floor after signing an agreement. There is also a separate dressing room. Bella in guest relations is very friendly and responded quickly to help solve many problems. She also gave me three days of free breakfast. The most amazing thing is the scallion oil noodles for breakfast at Fangfeiyuan. I, a native Shanghainese, have never eaten such delicious scallion oil noodles in more than 20 years. The chef said it was a special sauce. He learned the craftsmanship in Shanghai Ritz Jinxuan for five years. This scallion oil noodles will definitely be remembered for a long time.

It was my first time staying at MGM Qingdao, and I was truly impressed by the exceptional hotel facilities and overall stay experience. It exceeded my expectations, even surpassing my experiences at MGM Grand Las Vegas. I want to extend a special thanks to Miss Eva for her outstanding enthusiasm and professionalism. The hotel is in a good location and check-in was quick. The New Year lobby is well decorated, the atmosphere is great, and the health services are good. I am very grateful to Sunny at the front desk for her enthusiastic service and solving any problems as soon as possible. She is very thoughtful and likes Sunny.

It's about 200 to 300 meters away from the subway station and 1.3 kilometers away from Guoxin Stadium. It's very close to walk and the high-speed rail station. It's very convenient. I went there for Zhang Xinzhe's concert. It's very suitable. What can I say about the facilities? I don't have high requirements for accommodation. Fortunately, I slept well for two nights. The sound insulation effect is average, but I still like it.

This is my fifth stay at this hotel and it never disappoints. The rooms are comfortable (great bed - perfect for the rainy weather) and I particularly like the breakfast buffet. I personally appreciate the service and a special mention to the cleaner and floor manager (秦嘉璐 Jack) for being welcoming, showing me to my room and just simply being polite and hospitable. This is exactly why I keep coming back to this hotel and will continue to come back.

Sitting in front of the window, drinking tea and looking at the endless sea, and the Wheat Island in the distance, Qingdao in September, the sky is high and the sea is wide, the scenery is beautiful, you can lie on the tatami and listen to the sound of the waves, or soak in the bathtub and watch the waves of the sea, get up early and open the curtains to see the sunrise, it's so comfortable, the hotel staff are very enthusiastic, will take the initiative to introduce meals and play routes, the room is clean and tidy, it is the best of all the hotels I have stayed in, the surrounding transportation is also very convenient, you can call an online car directly to the hotel entrance, or you can take a bus out of the community and walk to Wheat Island, Maidao Road only takes 15 minutes, there are several good seafood restaurants on Maidao Road, the seaside plank road below the hotel is particularly good for taking pictures, you can also catch the sea when the sea water is low tide, I also caught a lot of crabs, this stay left me with a particularly good impression, next time I come to Qingdao, I will choose here again!

This is a mixed review for me. On one hand, we paid for a Seaview that had a building blocking 80% of our view. When we asked to change rooms, they gave us a run around and told us to deal with it. We contacted ctrip, and quickly got a room with a better view. From that point they were pretty kind and courteous. Afterwards, we went to the Hawaiian BBQ restaurant that is affiliated with the hotel. We could only stay there an hour as they were closing. My girlfriend and I had one beer apiece, along with two plates of cold kebabs as they didn’t want to heat anything else. We would have eaten more, but there was no food. When the bill came, it was 572. That was surprising to say the least. Throughout the days to come, we realize that all of the restaurants were quite expensive. So when we looked at their room service selection, we were happy as it appeared to be less expensive. Each meal, we bought no more than 300 worth. And we only ate four times while we were there. The bill came out to 4300. I don’t know where their additional expenses came from. The hotel offered quite a few amenities, but we were busy exploring the city. Please not they have very slow room service. However, besides our initial interaction, all of the staff were kind and warm, It is therefore that I say that it was a mixed review. And I hope that this helps someone when deciding to stay.
