It was an awesome experience the people are very friendly especially the man that does tattoos it's a must visit one !!! The food is acceptable but I very missed the real Italian food (there is a Italian restaurant but it isn't the same thing).

Summary – 2 stars NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES. A hotel that has everything it needs to be good, but sadly falls well short of expectations. It claims a five-star status but in reality, is closer to a lower three-star establishment. Appearance – 2 stars From the moment you drive through the gates the hotel gives the appearance of being scruffy and poorly maintained. Some of the issues are cosmetic, poor painting, worn out furniture, thatching on roofs falling apart, but others are more serious. Broken chairs, tables and sun beds with protruding sharp edges and nails. Damaged tiles around the pool area with sharp, exposed edges are very concerning. Facilities – 3 stars The reception area is large and airy, although the decoration is tired and in need of repair, and also gives access to the main dining room. Be warned that there is no elevator/lift from the reception area to the rest of the hotel which makes this hotel completely unsuitable for anyone who is incapable of ascending and descending the large staircase several times each day. The main pool area is large and well laid out and surrounded by attractive gardens. The pool bar is large but only one end is utilised, and choice is limited. Towels are provided and are a good size but a little faded for the most part. There are plenty of sun beds and parasols but beware of protruding splinters and nails. Be warned, the music is played at night club volumes and features mainly electronica and techno dance tracks. We did not use any of the other pools that the hotel has because they were too far from our room. There is a spa area close by that has an extensive range of treatments on offer, the staff will make sure you have all the information. There are also tennis courts, ice cream stands (paid for), shops, gift sellers and on the beach a supermarket, camel rides and a dive school. The beach is the best thing about the hotel and fronts a shallow lagoon leading to the reef. It is let down somewhat by the enormous quantities of cigarette butts but is generally ok. As with the pool area, be careful when using the sun beds, they are not well looked after. Access to the reef involves a bit of a walk along the beach to access the 300m long jetty which can get a bit crowded at times. Rooms – 1 or 3 stars If you are allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms, you will be ok (we were moved to 2151). Large, well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, air conditioning, fridge and TV. However, many of the 1st and 2nd floor rooms are yet to be refurbished. Take a look at the photos to see what our first room was like. Catering – 2 stars This hotel specialises in huge quantities of very low-quality, tasteless, bland food. Everything is clearly prepared using the cheapest ingredients and with the minimum of care. For 5 of our 7 days, we were the only British guests and so we can only conclude that the catering is arranged around the preferences of the mainly R

PEGGIORE ESPERIENZA NELLA MIA VITA, sono già stato a sharm 2 anni fa in un’altro resort. Sono stato male tutta la settimana vacanza da dimenare su 7 giorni 5 giorni in clinica con flebo sia io che la mia ragazza, cibo pessimo, mare inesistente

I want to say thanks for animation team. They made my vacation great. Hi Dasha, Abdu, Yousif, Chiara and Mahmood. Mido also. Activities was very good . Reception staff can be more polite. Food and room service can be better. Location is beautiful.

This was my third stay at Amwaj Oyoun Resort. In my opinion, this Hotel deserves more recognition. It is comfortable, professional and friendly. The staff really make this a holiday to remember - far too many to mention all of them, but, as always Doaa, Guest Relations, was superbly helpful. Alaa (and others) looked after me in the restaurant. Talaat came to my rescue when I managed to lock myself out of the safe in my room. The weather was glorious, my room was everything I needed it to be and I took an early walk every morning along the sea front. Food in the buffet restaurant was perfectly acceptable and I ate well (maybe a few too many desserts). The Hotel is developing and improving on every visit. Thank you

*fake review's, there is a lot of reviews on here that have only given one contribution and are very similar* Ruined by rude staff and begging for water. Staff - A part from 1 or 2 the staff were so rude. You felt like they hated you. They serve who they prefer in the que and not in order. Restaurant staff become aggressive when you asked for cheese in the restaurant. The biggest issues we had was the water. You get given 2 small bottles of water a day. You must pay if you want a big bottle, and it is 5x more expensive than what it would be in the shop. The cups they give you with water are around 2 mouth falls. Some days we had a headache from the lack of water. However, this is not the worst part. One night the young man with curly hair was behind the bar. We asked for our bottles to be filled up and he refused to do more than 2. When we have been in the sun all day and we have been drinking this is not enough and quite frankly dangerous that he was refusing. The water was running low on the machine, and he could not be bothered to change it. We went back to the room and called reception and they kindly helped us by dropping 2 bottles of water to our room. Food – This is by far the worst food I have ever come across and I have stayed in a 2-star hotel before. The restaurant is over crowded with people pushing and grabbing. I can only imagine what it is like in peak times. Everything has the same unpleasant oily taste. They serve meat up and give you one tiny chicken leg. If you ask for more, they laugh and shout ‘more’ and try to embarrass you. However, when I saw staff dish dinner for their self, they take 5-6 pieces. If you asked for cheese or butter, they are extremely unhappy. They would often leave us waiting well over ten minutes and sometime not bring it at all. I am unsure if there is a budget for the staff’s food, but they are very unwilling to give you anything of value but happy to have it for their self. This is clearly unfair, and management need to do something about this. Dinner is meant to go on till 9:00pm we went there at 8:45 and everything was packed away. We then had to pay for a taxi into town and buy dinner. Our stomach was upset from day 2 and for well over a week after. AL a cart – We were gutted this was so terrible as it was one of the main reasons why we picked this hotel. We went to the BBQ one first the starter is help yourself and very similar to the buffet. When they brought over our BBQ. It was full of the unpleasant beef sausage that they served at the buffet. It had 2 tiny bits of chicken when we asked for more we just got ignored. We were left hungry and had to go to the buffet restaurant after. We also went to the Italian we asked for the only free wine you get at the hotel countless times. They were not keen on giving it to you. When the soup was brought out with bread, we asked for butter we waited ages and asked multiple times to finally be told there was none! Good hotel, the Animation team very active. They try to involve you in all the activities and they also offer night time entertainment if you want to join them for a night out around sharm and clubs. The staff is very nice, especially Alaa, a guy working in the food hall and the reception guys, the safari guy Max and all the team of Amwaj ❤️

Youssef from entertainment very nice, really funny guy, very nice experience because of him we went to a club he went with showed me the ropes and was a very fun night i recommend him for sure. First time staying in this hotel, i recommend him and the hotel is lucky to have him.

I liked staying here. Everything was good .. It's better if you have kids. The entertainer Katya was a very kind girl and treated kids nicely. Also the Mini - Disco show was great.♥️ I also liked the beach , sand and sea. We stayed with family.

This is my third time to Amwaj and never disappoint, wide sandy beach, satisfying food variety, night live shows and great customer relations who is always there. Nabq weather is also the best in Sharm. For any type of travelers, this shoud be your choice at this price segment.

Beautiful hotel with well-kept grounds We only had pleasant impressions from our vacation) Thanks to the animation team for the variety of activities and entertainment You can do stretching in the morning, or take part in dancing and sports activities, everyone will be pleased In general, all the staff are friendly and responsive, everyone was kind and didn’t disappoint Highly recommend visiting, you definitely won’t be bored
