Majestic Colonial Punta Cana - All Inclusive Reviews

This hotel was amazing. The all-inclusive was a wonderful option too with lots of options. I completely recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful, some parts are a little damaged, but in general it is very good, a lot of variety of food, drinks, the beach area is very well organized, the waiters come by all the time for drinks, the restaurant on the The beach is also very good, but the best of all is the people, all of them very, very friendly, warm, attentive, respectful, collaborate at all times… it's fine for Olan familiar…. We will come back! Thanks for everything.

The hotel service is very average. They don't clean the room every day and they don't make up for used or exhausted towels, toothbrushes, drinks, etc.

The room at times smelled like sewage. It took an hour to be seated for dinner and the Restuarants that took reservations had limited availability. The place was understaffed- and we waited for almost everything we wanted.

What a perfect vacation ! Excellent staff, food and entertainment ! Beach was beautiful, staff was wonderful and resort was very clean and lovely !

The check in process was quite cumbersome and took a very long time. We were "upgraded" to the non-family side of the resort (which was fine since our boys were 17 and 14 years old), but it was loud at night. The place was mobbed with high school and college students on spring break that were drinking at all hours of the day and night. There was a lively night life scene at the resort. We were unable to get reservations for the two restaurants that required them. Overall, the food was decent, the service good, and we enjoyed our stay.

The property is not the most up to date but beautiful, clean and the beach is amazing. Food is good and has variety of options. Staff are friendly but they don’t speak English very well, therefore it is difficult to get help from them. I wish they would try to understand us better and wouldn’t rush all the time. We had a great butter Yoel, who tried to make our stay easy and fun. We are thankful for his help. I would stay at this property again.

The property is outstanding, the beach is exceptionally good and beautiful, food is diverse and of high quality. The staff in all areas are very friendly, polite and helpful. I received an email from Majestic Colonial delivered through my ******* account informing me that I could do express check out the night before my departure. I tried it and it does not work because as you take your taxi to the airport you need a release ticket from the reception. There is a contradiction as there is no such a thing as express check out. That was the only negative note

Our 4th stay here. The staff is so attentive and friendly. We stayed at Bavaro Grand Princess the previous two days and liked the beach/pool setup better there but the staff was so unhappy there and service ******, made me realize why we keep coming back to Majestic. The entertainment staff here on the beach and pool are awesome. The grounds are immaculate. Just a really well rounded resort. Night time entertainment could be better, little quiet boring at night but occasionally have beach dinner/parties at night once a week that are fun!

The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly in all areas of the resort. I liked that it was an easy walk to Majestic Elegance where we attended a wedding. The evening shows were entertaining and not cheesy. The disco had too many high school and young college kids. They behaved a bit annoyingly and were obnoxious. I think you need to separate them from the Adults section. The DJ and staff at the beach were a really fun group, and played the songs we liked (merengue and bachata). The guestrooms could use an update. The furniture and fixtures were dated and showed a lot of wear and tear. The columns in the room and bathtub had several scuff marks that it made them look dirty. You can also see some wear and tear in the hallway areas. Some of the wall columns needed repairs as the edges were literally falling apart. Particularly, the door to the toilet opened towards the sink which made it awkward to move around, and did close properly. Also, there wasn't good lighting over the bed area and there so many switches to figure them out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

July the pool bartender was wonderful and Strawberry the most wonderful people and Jr. Domingo also are exceptionally wonderful also.

We really loved this property. It was beautiful and we loved how close the beach was. The staff and entertainment was fantastic for kids and adults. Some of the food was excellent (steak and seafood restaurant) and the rest was just OK. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The spa was amazing. We would go back!

We had issues with it shower and reported it to our Butler, who reported it right away. He was told it was fixed and it was not. Our shower almost over flowed all week. At the end of our trip Mayker set up a time for our luggage to be picked up and no one showed up, so we ended up waiting an extra 15 minutes before we took it ourselves.

I loved how spacious my room was! I loved that I was put in a room near the beach. I loved the friendliness of several staff members. Some of the guests were wild, unruly, and seemed to want to trash the place. I got diarrhea after eating at MCJestic - they need to watch how they handle food and prepare the food better. Bring back Crepes!
