Best Three Star Hotels in Punta Ballena

Lo mejor de todo es su ubicación, y por eso vale la pena visitarlo una vez en la vida. Todas las habitaciones tienen una vista privilegiada, maravillosa! Eso no tiene desperdicio. Destaco también la atención del personal, amable, gentiles y con buena onda. El edificio y su arquitectura, es único, y hay que conocerlo, sin duda!! Lleno de recovecos, con sus paredes en la piedra misma, ocultando desniveles. Algo único es ver un atardecer desde sus terrazas, o zonas comunes, mientras suena de fondo el ”saludo al sol”, poema que grabó el artista Carlos Paéz Vilaró. Es muy interesante conocer la historia detrás de esta ”casa escultura”, lo que lo fue motivando a esta creación que tanto atrae a turistas de todo el mundo. Para quienes estén interesados en la historia del Milagro de los Andres, pues se suma el plus de que el creador de este lugar es el padre que jamás paró de buscar a su hijo perdido en las montañas. Todo un ejemplo de amor y esperanza. Ahora, porque no le doy 5 estrellas? pues, si bien se nota que se intenta mantener, (durante nuestra estadía estaban pintando varias zonas comunes, y no pudimos acceder a ellas), tiene muchas cosas a mejorar. La acústica en las habitaciones es terrible, se escucha tanto al de la habitación contigua que parece que estamos todos juntos en la misma habitación. Los baños tienen pérdidas molestas, en cisternas y duchas. No hay amenities, salvo las básicas en frascos grandes, pero de baja calidad, (el jabón de manos es tan líquido y transparente que parece agua, de verdad parecía que hubieran completado el frasco con agua!). El precio del parking me resulta excesivo, 30 U$S por noche. No hay atenciones al huésped, como un agua de cortesía por lo menos, cafetera en la habitación o similar. Si se quiere visitar el museo y estás hospedándote en el hotel, igual debes pagar entrada. El hotel se llena en las zonas comunes de visitantes que no están alojados. Se nota desmejorado, y como que intentaran ahorrar al máximo en todo. Es una pena, porque es un lugar con mucha magia, que debería estar mas prolijo. Igualmente, como dije, es un lugar que merece visitarse una vez en la vida.

I paid for a room with two beds, one for me and my husband and another for my two children, and I arrived at the hotel, and there was simply no room with two beds. After a while, with the good will of the Solidad official, she gave us a upgrade and we went to a large and comfortable apartment, but with the same problem, there were no two couple beds, just one! They put two abulous, improvised, riding single beds, super discomfortable, they put us in a larger room to feel theoretically having an upgrade, but the comfort of my children was very lacking. The hotel is always inadequate, the old accommodation, the towel exchange and bathing goods. He left a lot to desire. The only positive point is Solidity, who did everything he could to help. However, the hotel is far from being a recommended resort.
