We stayed in the VistaPier renovated tower of this hotel ...seems to be two sections : Hotel Delfin ( the older section which seemed like more of a budget friendly place; mostly Spanish speaking families.) The patio and pools were clean but from the outside, the rooms seem very dated. The VistaPier is a totally different experience..adult only, nice pool easy to access loungers on beach and pool deck. Restaurant for guests only and public taco cafè on property. Food and drink service on beach. There is also a breakfast buffet next door st Delfin. Guest rooms were lovely...you have to reserve the ocean view junior suite ...Modern finishes ( tile and granite and very comfortable king bed an pillows with extra blankets, fridge and nespresso machine. No issues with sir von or water. Private elevator for VistaPier guests. Also registration was classy..private lounge and offered a drink at check in ! A bit pricier than average for no meals but the location and quality were great.

Great location. Hotel is on the older side but it was a clean bed and cool room for the stay. 97% of the staff were very friendly and service was great. Unfortunately some have really bad attitudes directed only at particular guests. Strangely those were also not wearing name tags. With that said Jesus was one of the most helpful and friendly staff member. Not sure if it just México, but there seemed to be a form or paper needed to be completed for every step of the check in and check out process. Not very eco friendly and must need huge storage facilities for all that paperwork. Overall, a great stay and will stay there again.

The hotel itself is so great!
But I think I need a car to go to the hotel.
The hotel does operate a car.
There is also an airport pick-up service.
The height is so great to see the landscape and the facilities are great.
It's not cheap, but you can get the service you paid for.
The exterior of the hotel also contributes to making you want to go.
The rooms are spacious and wonderful. It has a large room that can accommodate 5 or 6 people and it seems to be a very good hotel for families to come and hospice.

The staff made our trip such a memorable and incredible one. While the room we stayed in wasn’t what we’re used to, as it seemed quite run down, we only slept in it and spent our day at the pool and beach. Our housekeeper was incredible and always filled the room with extra water bottles. Manuel, Saul, Miguel, Javier, Victor Hugo (waiter), Oscar, Guadalupe, and Edgar were especially amazing, making our days here brighter. Everyone was truly incredible and they all made my first Mexico trip special. The wifi could have been better, as it was constantly disconnecting throughout the day. The food was decent as well considering the chefs produce a ton for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall a beautiful trip!

Great roof top adults only hotel in PV - walking distance to shopping, restaurants, malacon, and beaches. Daily dj are the pool was awesome! HEATED pool was a nice surprise.
Lacking normal amenities in the rooms like face cloths and proper hair care products as well they lose points for no coffee maker or kettle in room and coffee in the lobby until 11am with coffeemate instead of actual milk or cream- these little touches would have made my review a 5 star for sure.

We where there last week. And we loved it! Incredibly clean, buffet is small (It is a small hotel!) but everything was good and fresh, snack bar as well. Ask for any drink, they can make it. Service at the pool was awesome. It is a family resort, so there is a lot of kids, but how nice all those Mexican people was. Ther wasn't any animation, and by 10:00 pm, it get's really quiet, so if you want to party, you have to go out downtown. Of course, you are going to spend some money, but we also do when we are going out downtown Montreal!. The only thing 1 did not like is the beach, not because it's not nice, but the waves in the sea where incredibly strong, which was not fun at all, at least for me that could not stand up and had a couple of shooters of salted water! I would strongly suggest that they put an outdoor shower at the beach so people can refresh while on the beach, since it is so hard to go into the ocean. Is it a good idea M. Danny, manager? Lol. I will definitely go back. Soon i hope! A huge thanks to Hugo, Danel, Eric, David, Eanu and some others that i forgot the name at the pool. A huge thanks for our maid who did a great job in our room. A huge thanks to Hector, Alfredo at the a la carte restaurant, the young tall handsome waiter which looks a little Vietnamese with is slanted eyes at the buffet, unfortunately forgot is name, and to all the people at the buffet for their incredible and friendly service. Great great place. Thank you so much everyone. Nathalie and Celine, the two Frenchies from el norte!

This is an affordable all-inclusive place to stay with a nice beach for swimming and sitting on the sand. There isn't much shade but you can rent a beach umbrella and chairs. The lobby and buffet are open air so it can get really hot during the warmer months. The food was safe, but unremarkable. There was a good variety of choices everyday and each night at the buffet had a theme, such as Mexican, Seafood night and BBQ to name three. We were there at the beginning of October and the weather was still quite hot and the Air Conditioning in the inside restaurants was not quite strong enough to cool the place down, but the servers were excellent. I was worried before arriving that the hotel would be noisy at night, but they have a night club for the resort across the street for all of the late night partiers making the hotel a quiet place to rest and sleep. However, one of the elevators must have been over something very stinky because most of the time, there was a smell of sewer for a lot of our rides. It was the elevator that was for the rooms on the beach front side of the hotel that went up to the 7th floor. The other elevator in that section only went up to the 6th floor. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on a top floor with roof exposure so our room was never able to cool down below 77 degrees despite the hotel's efforts to fix the AC so I had difficulty sleeping. I understand the lower rooms were nice and cool for sleeping. The maid did a great job keeping our room clean! This is a great place to stay for those who like a busy active beach area. It is centrally located which makes it easy to go into town or access tours. The hotel staff was great. If you want a more relaxing, quieter beach and pool, you will probably need to go elsewhere.

Looking to travel with family? Highly recommended! This is a luxury hotel with a ”boutique” vibe and Excellent service. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in PV (have stayed in Sheraton, Westin). The pool is well-maintained, the kids playroom is awesome (Thank you Bibiana!). The property is very modern, very well maintained, though rooms are a bit small. We stayed at the Marriott in Cancun as well, similar experience. Best budget luxury resort in PV.

My husband and I spent 9/13 nights of our honeymoon as Casa Velas. We chose this hotel because of its great reviews, and it was one of only a few adults only ‘highly rated’ hotels. We had a wonderful time, which, in most didn’t disappoint. Pros The location of this hotel is near the marina, you can walk there within 5 to 10 minutes. The area is very safe, it feels very secure and everyone in and around the hotel was very very very friendly. The staff are by far this hotels biggest and best asset. So friendly, accommodating (within what they can do). Ramon and Ulrise worked non stop all day. The rooms are beautiful and are set within ground surrounded by lush trees, flowers and many iguana’s The cocktails were amazing and are exceptional value under the all inclusive, they would make almost anything, even if this wasn’t on the main menu The pool, reception, entrance, gardens and restaurants are immaculate and are constantly being cleaned and tidied. Also some friendly coy carp and turtles (which you can feed) Room for improvement The menu options are limiting, especially if you are staying longer than 4 days. Whilst the food was delicious, we have had some even more amazing food outside of the resort, a more diverse menu would be great for those staying a little longer. Before you travel be sure to check whether there are any events or weddings on during your stay, this was the largest downside by far. When guests arrived for the wedding/event that lasted about five days, our experience was negatively impacted by having to have buffet options for food… the calm, peaceful ambience was also affected. It very much felt like as soon as the wedding parties arrived, other guests were left to experience someone else’s holiday/vacation. Tipping Maybe it is because we are Europeans, and expected tipping isn’t something that we are used to… but considering this is a high end hotel that included tips, it felt strange to then we having to sign for drinks and food and tipping. Not saying that the staff do not deserve to be rewarded for their hard work, this isn’t in question at all, but it did feel a bit off. Whilst we would 100% recommend this hotel to any friends or family staying. We would make the recommendation of a shorter stay as the menu got very repetitive and there’s so many amazing things to see in at around Puerto Vallarta. Value for money 8/10
Comfortable hotel near Puerto Vallarta International AirportIn the vicinity of the Marina, the comfortable Holiday Inn Express® Puerto Vallarta hotel offers guests the best experience for business and leisure travel. The room was clean, check in clerk was friendly and the breakfast was not bad at all. Those are the positives. For the not-so-positive: I didn't get the room that I reserved despite booking directly from my IHG account but it was late for my arrival and with it being just one night, I didn't bother to see if my room type was there. There were no face cloths in the bathroom so that was a bit of a surprise. When I showered the next morning the water only got to a lukewarm temperature and that took about five minutes. My biggest concern, hence the title, was on check-out. The check out agent told me that the gentleman from the night before only charged me 180 pesos to my credit card where it should have been 1800. Thankfully, I keep every receipt and told her, ”you are incorrect and I just happen to have the receipt of what was billed to my credit card; let me show you”. Not only was I billed correctly, but it was 1863 pesos. It bothered me that a) if I didn't have this receipt, I would have had to pay again and then dispute the charge later with the credit card company and b) that there was such incompetence that one staff member was calling into question the working ability of the other. The gentlemen that checked me in billed me properly so I am not sure how their internal communication and record keeping got so screwed up. Needless to say, that left a bad taste in my mouth and made this hotel appear to be unprofessional and subject perhaps to scamming people which is not a good impression for a guest to leave with. Further, when the check-out agent was shown the evidence, she didn't even apologize but rather abruptly stated that she wanted to make a copy. I obliged but not after taking a pic in case somehow it was dropped and not returned. Regardless, though close to the airport, I would not stay here again but instead another in the area which I have done before.

FFraserI always stay at The Cowork Hotel, and it never disappoints. The hotel is spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both work and relaxation. The internet is fast and reliable, which is a must for me when working remotely. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to make sure guests are well taken care of. One of my favorite features is the hot tub, which is the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The location is also fantastic, close to everything you might need, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure stays!

It was tricky getting into the hotel but i guess they do that for security reasons. Luckily there were guests in the lobby that let me in & used their hotel card for the elevator so i could go to the reception. The reception service was nice. I loved their gym. My room was really dirty , needed a deep cleaning since there were little hairs all over the bathroom & it stinked really bad of cigarette smoke. The stores around it & the gym make it worth it.
Overall: i would come back.
GGuest UserI don't usually post negative comments, but if this will help another traveler make an informed choice, I thought I'd let you know a couple of things. First, I booked a junior suite with an ocean view. The rooms are very nice and spacious. However, our ocean view was actually of telephone poles and wires and the thatched roof of the club across the alley. I admit, the ocean was in view, beyond these obstacles. Our original room was on the 4th floor and the first night our roof sprung a fast leak due to the downpour outside. It was mostly cleaned up and we were told to let the front desk know in the morning that we needed to move rooms.
I would have thought that due to the inconvenience of having to re-pack everything, that they would have given us an upgraded room. Instead, they gave us a junior ocean view suite on the 3rd floor with a closer view of the wires and rooftop. This room also had only one patio chair so even if we wanted to sit out on the patio, we wouldn't have been able to together. The resort itself has nice amenities.
赖赖The hotel is very close to the airport, it should be complete, the food and entertainment is complete, and the customer meets at the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel does not include breakfast and wifi. If it is all-inclusive, it will be perfect.
I stayed at the Sheraton with my husband while recovering from shoulder surgery. Our room was very comfortable except for the temperature. We could not ever cool it to our satisfaction. We asked for it to be looked at and nothing changed. We enjoyed the ala carte restaurants especially pescatore. The sunset view was beautiful. The hotel location is excellent. 20 minute walk to the Malecon. I have to mention a few special workers. Liliana, serving around the pool; Edgar, the concierge; Angel, at the Lobby bar and Marco. They all went over and above to provide great service. Overall the wait staff and front desk people were excellent! Thank you to all.
The City Express Plus hotel has numerous pros and cons. Pros On the bus route Very quiet Basic continental breakfast Great staff - Fatima is wonderful Awesome ice machine Safe Clean Security - blessing and a curse Exercise room Pool - but cold as ice Air conditioning works well Cons The pillows are beyond horrible! Disasterous…lumpy…like someone took a bat or hammer and destroyed them. The hotel MUST get new pillows. Worst I have EVER used!! No refrigerator to put leftovers in The security is a blessing and a curse. You need your room key to access your hotel floor. If you have friends staying with you on a different floor, you cannot go to their room as your key will not let you access a different floor Pool is not heated - ice cold The sink is horrible. It is slanted inward, so anything that is put on the edge of the sink falls into the sink No string in shower to hang wet clothes/bathing suit Not enough hooks to hang items in bathroom No closet - hanging area with 5 hangers Only one drawer - no option to put clothes away. You HAVE to live out of your suitcase. The hotel seems to be set ip more for a person travelling on business, rather than vacation. But, they have no business center. The big question…would I stay here again. No. It does not fit what we were looking for.
GGuest UserLocation is key as it is the only hotel on the much desired Marina with yachts and boardwalk filled with shops, bars and restaurants
It is an older hotel which means rooms are huge and all have balconies. Very clean and staff was very attentive.
I opted out of the all inclusive plan.
Highly recommend and there is public ocean beach access nearby.
we stayed here for two weeks on a recent vacation. After reading some reviews we were a bit worried- but... i have stayed in far worse places in Canada. The water is hot ( unlike what some reviews said) - it just took a couple of minutes and a few tries before we realized hot and cold placements on faucet were opposite to ours at home. The beds were comfortable. Our initial room was small ( but it was what we had booked) with two twin beds, but we requested and received almost immediately a larger room with two double beds (with no cost difference). The wifi was good in the room- poor on rooftop- but that was fixed during our stay. Daily breakfast was good- always with fresh fruit, pancakes, scrambled eggs with some additions- ie ham, sausage, etc and a couple of mexican dishes- coffee and juice- not 5 star in content or variety- but still good and filled the hole. The elevator also always worked, Staff were excellent- for example- i lost a nut on my wheelchair- maintenance came- found a correct sized nut and fixed- thanks again. All in all- I give them a 4 star especially for the staff
All inclusive resort with both family and adult only pools with the sandy beach also as an option. We chose the room directly opposite the ocean with fabulous sunset views. Five restaurants on site and always at least two open so plenty to choose from 24 hours. Unlimited drinks on site. Lots of different free activities throughout the day. Friendly and attentive staff, very welcoming for all. It is family oriented with plenty of children. Large TV flatscreen in room, only disappointment only 2 English speaking channels.
