Hotels near Back Side Beach, Port Blair

The design of the rooms are excellent. ”Design” is what came to our mind when we stepped into the room we had booked for our stay in Port Blair for the start to our honeymoon. All the facilities which were advertised and promised were readily available at our beck and call. TV, Hot water, Clean sheets, Room service, Meals and yes free+fast Wi-fi as well. The food in the in-house restaurant is very tasty. Be sure to order the Chili cuisines, like Chili Aloo or Chili Gobi. They are excellent, and even the veg meal tasted as good as non-veg. The staff is courteous, and tries to solve all your problems. You won't grudge tipping them. The ambience is family friendly and couple friendly in the same time. The location is not too near the airport or the beach, neither too far from either of them. Overall it was a great experience.

One of the nicer hotels in Port blair. The lobby is very wide and minimalist. Staff took some time to process the check in, need to take photo of our passports and the visa page. The room is spacious, air conditioner was very powerful, bathroom was large enough too. The hotel is walking distance to the clock tower and the Cellular jail. Food wise, the breakfast is served at the top floor and there is an average selection of Indian food items. On one day, we asked them to pack breakfast as we had an early start. They only gave us jam sandwich and some biscuits, it was bad.

Convenient hotel for stay in port blair Good: 1. Convenient location. Very close to cellular jail, airport, market 2. ⁠rooms were clean 3. ⁠staff was polite 4. ⁠can easily find autos outside hotel 5. ⁠breakfast was satisfactory Not so good: 1. Bathroom fittings need maintenance. Shower fitting was not in very good condition 2. ⁠small bed, queen size Port Blair: Its a cute town and can be conveniently and economically explored on scooter if that suits you. Ideally you should keep 3 nights for port Blair. Things to cover- cellular jail- carbyns cove beach-chidiya tapu-few islands nearby To do: Cellular jail is worth a visit and the light and sound show is not to be missed Carbyns cove beach is also worth a visit. The coastal road to this beach is very beautiful. If you have time you can plan both sunrise and evening visits. On the way to carbyns cove there is Flag point which is a must visit specially post sunset hours. There is a very patriotic feel to this place. Its a beautiful view seeing tri colour waving high in the backdrop of ocean and island and with some historical context to it which can be read there, the point has been nicely maintained and you can sit there and spend some time enjoying the breeze and views Autos can be found easily in port blair. It is better to hire autos for sight seeing then taxis which charge exorbitant rates The marine museum is a must visit. Its small but very informative and sets a context to the andaman trip, we visited towards the end of trip and were able to relate to the exhibits there and learned a lot about the islands and life. Anthropological museum can be skipped Annapurna cafeteria is a good local eatery. Reasonably priced and good food You should definitely make a visit to chidiya tapu. Rooms are very neat and well maintained. 5 to 10 mins drive to port, water sports complex and airport which made our commute time less. Food is tasty but limited options available. Staff are very humble and receiving. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

The Hotel is very nice and our stay was very comfortable. Wherever you will see from the balcony you only find greenary and water bodies which will make you feel so relaxed. The staff behaviour is so good that you will feel like you are with your family members. We reached a bit earlier than the actual check in time and they were kind enough to arrange an early check in as a room was available. The room was very spacious. We also celebrated our Anniversary and they helped to arrange a pool side dinner which was super. The only concern is the distance. The hotel is away from the main city. But such a nice view within the city will not be possible. So if you take a scooty or have a car booked then this will be the best hotel to stay.
