Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora

The best hotel I’ve stayed in. The food is wonderful with absolutely everything you could want for breakfast and dinner. The pools are all heated. The reception staff are very kind and will do everything to help the only drawback is there’s no door on the bathroom although the shower and toilet each have their own door but when hubby got up during the night to use the bathroom he had to put the light on which shone and woke me up. Excellent hotel, will visit again.

Probably the best hotel I’ve ever been to! Definitely a 5 star hotel, the hotel is amazing, the rooms are spacious and perfect for families with the kids room separate. The food is absolutely amazing, such great variety and delicious, especially the pizza! The sweet room is such a great idea and has the wow factor. Falkyland is incredible, it’s so great for children under 10, the soft play and the day time kids club was perfect. The only downside was there’s no entertainment for adults in the evening, but I believe they just stopped doing it at the beginning of September. The games room with bowling was great, such a brilliant idea, although it only opens at 4pm. You can’t fault this hotel really, if you want great service and lovely facilities then this is the best place to go. Only problems we had were with the housekeeping, they kept taking our pool towed and bath towels and not replacing them and didn’t give us water each day, I had to go to reception 3 times because of this, but the way reception dealt with it was perfect. Special shout out to verona on reception who went above and beyond and really listened and helped. Will be coming back here for sure!

We are staying 9 nights at the hotel, and are on our 7th night. This has been hands down our best family vacation yet, and this is comparing to family resorts across the Caribbean, Maldives and Turkey. Falkensteiner Diadora stands out on several unique attributes which we didn’t get anywhere else. We are generally big fans of Falkensteiner family properties, having stayed numerous times at Falkensteiner Montafon and Lido. A huge thank you to Andrea at the kids club, whom we got to know at Montafon after our many stays there, and who convinced us to try Diadora. We would have never considered it otherwise as we had not thought about Croatia as a vacation destination. A few things that really differentiate Diadora: 1) Unparalleled program for children – We tried numerous family resorts and while we always used the “kids club” to some extent, we always felt these programs were run in a very unstructured way by generally indifferent staff, even at the highest end properties. At Diadora, the program is vast and full of included sport and STEM activities (swimming lessons, rock-climbing, science class, kayaking, cheerleading), where children are known by name and taken by the staff from one activity to another. The program is operated similar to a school club or a kindergarten, and the staff are extremely serious about the kids’ safety and whereabouts. I am so grateful to the team here for letting the parents truly relax and for all that our kids learned in this short stretch 2) Sustainability focus – 1st resort we have been to where bottles are glass and not plastic, and drink cups and straws and paper and not plastic. Aside from the obvious environmental benefits, we also appreciate the health benefits of not having to drink from plastic bottles that have been sitting in the heat. What a wonderful initiative 3) No smokers – Or at least we never smelled any. Don’t know if it’s the clientele or just good design and lots of ventilation, but this was the first vacation where we didn’t have to run from table to table to dodge clouds of smoke, and could really enjoy the outdoor seating and the beach. 4) Separate children’s room in all rooms – We loved the separate room for children with two very comfortable beds. We had this also at Lido and Montafon, and are so grateful for this thoughtful layout 5) Proper exercise classes for adults – Full hour yoga sessions, in addition to Pilates, HIIT and other great classes with proper instructors in a separate brand new facility. Mladen (yoga) and Alexa (HIIT) teach great sessions 6) Plentiful vegan options – A full broad range of vegan milk alternatives at breakfast, chia pudding with almond milk, perfect lattes with foamed oat, gluten free crepes and always at least several vegan dinner items Those are the topics that really differentiated Diadora for us, but also worth noting that we loved the modern design, the natural and clean beach, the delicious and varied food, and the ver

We stayed at the Falkensteiner Diadora hotel for two nights as a family with a four-year-old (room 2221). We particularly enjoyed the food and the service, which were truly on a 5-star level. The kids' entertainment was also great, although the big indoor pool could have been warmer. Nonetheless, our daughter really enjoyed it, and the animation staff was excellent. Unfortunately, there was a bitter ending to our stay when we noticed that €100 were missing from my wallet. I am aware that this was my fault for not using the safe, but I was confident that such an incident could not happen in a 5-star hotel. I am writing this to raise awareness so that future guests can avoid such an inconvenience. Despite this, we still recommend the hotel overall!

5/5 Perfekt for relaxed holidays with children - perfect location - beautiful comfy rooms - genial food experience ( seefood, stakes, realy cool) - BEST for children in activities and program!! Very friendly animators, who takes tender care of your loved once…. There is so much to do that … one week is not enough - high tech GYM - plus classes for adults yoga… Paradise!!!

BULLY BULLY BULLY. There are bully happened in this family hotel, some customers are forcing female customers to be naked in the sauna (it wasn’t mandatory, even if it is, its not customers place to force it) And the staff are just letting it happened. Shame on them. This is not a family hotel. Please dont come. Not worth it. We stayed one week. Stuff are very nice, helpful. Entertainements in kids club are perfect (they have activities for 0-2, 3-6 and 7+ yeaes old kids). You can leave children in kids club for free. Drinks are very expensive (0.75 l water= 6 eur, small coke 4.9 eur, juice 3,5 eur). Every day you get one bottle of water in the room. We came around 10h to the hotel and would like to go to breakfast. Lady said to us that is free, but in the finally bill (when we checked out) we saw, that they charged 29 eur per adults and 14 for kids. After we spoke to lady in reception, they cancelled bill from breakfast. Rooms are nice, big. You have all equipment for babies in the hotel (diapers, food, etc.)

We are now in this hotel . Staying 2 weeks room 2224and 2225 . Have 2 rooms - one big one and one standard. Big room is fabulous - climbing wall for kids , 2 bathrooms , separate room for kids .One standard is small but with separate room for kids too which is good but the big parents bed is 1.5m away from the entrance door which is so irritating in the mornings and late evenings .Very noisy ! Bigger room is much better as too far from the entrance but the insulation in the hotel is horrific. In the mornings you can listen to every word of your neighbour’s above you , running , moving furniture etc so my nights personally were not restful at all .I read feedbacks about the hotel and this problem is often mentioned .also no door between room and bathroom. Restaurants Breakfast -it is ok with choice but 2 ladies at food preparation ( eggs , waffles , pancakes, crepes etc ) is not enough . People are always waiting for something . Lunch -not big choice .and only 1.5 hour length . Dinner is great . sweet room is a pleasure for kids . In general, restaurant staff are trying hard, cleaning when dropping food , everyone is smiling and friendly . Kids zone and kids club - loved everything, great facilities , kids club staff is friendly , mini discos are great but what shocked me is hourly rate for babysitting is 50 euros !! I would be happy to leave my kid for few hours to have a rest but way too expensive Pools -great facilities . Loads of space for everyone, no problem with sun lounges and towels Beach is good and clean . Loved the area with trees where you can get shade . Kids are admired by sea animals and fish. Reception is very helpful and friendly except one lady Verena . Just after our arrival to the hotel there was a huge problem with tokens for washing machine . There was great shortage of them . So people put their coin to start it and straight away ran to reception to ask them to open the machine to take it back to keep it for the next washing . So my older son tried to do the same .He met Verena at reception and asked for a token he just put in . She said to come back in 1 hour after the cycle .My son explained that there would not be any as other people are seeking for them too asked to come to get the token now. Suddenly she started to be very rude, raised her voice saying she already told him to come in 1 hour . There were no big queues at that time so we did not understand the problem to go now . Of course in 1 hour we came and there were no tokens in the washing machine . Another lady who went with us to check ( blond hair with glasses, sorry do not know her name ) was very friendly and attentive . I came to Verena to say that she seemed to be very rude with my son just kicking him away and we were right and had no token now . No apologising but only started to interrupt me always repeating she was not rude . Only when I pointed her to the fact that she continues to be rude interrupting me she stopped .I told her that I was g
