Staff were really attentive, excellent at communicating and really keen to help. Food was buffet starter and then menu choices for main - this is limited if you are a vegetarian/vegan, but they do have a couple of options. Sleep quality depends on the guests sharing the hotel with you (as at times we could hear guests above/in the corridor above), but staff seem keen to solve any sound proofing issues they can. You do need to book the spa in the morning for later on that day, and make sure to ask Reception if there are times for over-16s only. Location was fantastic, right next to Valbiolo lift and only a 5 min walk to the main slope and town, plus 2 mins to ski hire. Overall, great stay made brilliant by Luca the barman, who is very knowledgeable, hardworking, friendly and has excellent command of 3 languages.

Stayed over Christmas this year. Had a great time. Helped that the snow and weather was all good. Access to the slopes just out the back of the hotel and a short walk no more than a few minutes. Excellent spa facilities after a day of riding the pistes, just book a time slot. Good food and cold beers what else do you need on a skiing/snowboard trip. Resort is more of a beginner/intermediate area, but is high so has a good snow record. The black run down from the glacier will challenge the most experienced riders. Italy seems cheaper than resorts in France or Austria and your euros definitely go further. Will be back.

We have just spent Christmas week at this hotel. Our room was big and the children’s sofa beds were good quality compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The only downside to the room was the lack of wardrobe and drawers in the room, there was only a few hangers and we had to leave our clothes in the suitcase all week which was inconvenient. A thermostat in the room to control the room temperature would be useful. The pool area was nice and clean and modern but the plastic curtain allowing swimmers to go from the inside to the outdoors did not stop the cold coming in. The curtain needed to be thicker plastic with each section crossing over and also needed to be longer so it entered the water to minimise the amount of cold air coming in. My children enjoyed the pool but for me it was just too cold. The restaurant and food selection was good and the service was ok although the hotel could do with a couple of extra waiters as on one evening we waited 45 minutes for our starter to be served. The biggest negative at this hotel for our family was the fact that the restaurant didn’t open until 7.30pm. With two small tired children after a long day skiing it was far too late for us, 6pm or 6.30pm would be much more convenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year.

The standard on this hotel is Ok but not 4 star worthy. The spa and wellness cost extra 20 euro pr day and there is several missings on the half board. Every morning we have to ask about refill on several things in sole days the didnt have more bread All do there was 1.25 hour to the buffet closed. We have to tell the waiters to refill because there where not focus on it. The room standard is a Ok 3 star but for sure not 4 star on international standard. The Wine selektion is extra ordinary but should not be the thing to bring it on 4 stars.

We travelled to the Hotel Delle Alpi in January 2023. There was a group of 12 of us. Myself and my wife and our 4 children (ranging from 7-20 years old), and other friends and family. We had booked basic rooms - they were basic but clean and comfortable - we're used to the budget snow holiday life so this wasn't too much of a problem, but as other reviewers have noted - there are no pictures of these rooms advertised anywhere. Other members of our party had upgraded to superior rooms and these were lovely - much larger, double balcony, modern bathrooms etc, but I have no issue with our basic rooms. Top tip would be turn down the heating the second you set foot in your room ha. Could have had somewhere extra to hang our wet snowboard stuff but by the by no issues. Food was good and plentiful. Even though we occupied 4 different rooms the hotel had seated all our party together which was nice. Breakfast a variety of different options - more on the continental side. Hot options were boiled eggs or a single heated server with scrambled eggs and alternated bacon and german style sausage every other day - we stuck to the cold options and boiled eggs really. Top tip - you have to ask the staff to boild your eggs - more than one person in our party on the first morning cracked a raw egg onto a plate as the bowl of eggs is just chilling with all the other food. Evening meal was a salad bar to start, and then a menu from which you ordered two meals, a pasta course and a meat course as is fairly usual in italy. These changed daily, but there were set meals always available eg a tomato based pasta, cheese pasta, cold cuts etc. Two evenings was a set meal - the more adventurous among us just went for it. You can decline whichever courses you want, and theres a childrens menu which adults can order from if you're really picky. What let the holiday down for us was the cost to use the pool. Another family staying at the hotel said they had not charged on their last visit. On this visit it was 20 euros per adult and 10 per child to visit the pool & spa and you had to book a slot. We ski/snowboard often and are used to enjoying the pool and spa wherever we visit most days of our holiday. If ourselves and our 4 kids had visited the spa 6 days, it would have cost us an extra 660 euros! The indoor outdoor pool had been a factor in us visiting the Delle Alpi - we did go and it was nice, but not 20 euros per person per visit nice, and the outdoor pool was closed off. Jacuzzi was cold. Steam room, sauna etc nice enough. Members of our party in the superior rooms had bathrobes in their room, used them once to visit the spa and an extra charge of 15 euros per person per use was added to the bill. There is, we noticed afterward, a small sign on the reception desk informing you of this charge. There were a few occasions where particular drinks had been added to more than one room. For example my dad who was with us enjoyed a couple of whiskies, these were billed t

We stayed at Hotel Delle Alpi for my husbands birthday in March (I thought I’d already left a review). I am looking to re book at this same hotel next year as we had such a fabulous time. The staff were amazing… from the restaurant and bar to the spar, reception and room service team all were friendly, kind & helpful. The food was delicious with so many different options we didn’t even consider eating out anywhere else. The spa was an absolute joy after a day on the slopes - best ever to be in a heated pool with snow falling on our heads. I couldn’t fault it. We had a fab time.

Had the most lovely Ski Time away with my Sis, third time in Passo Tonale...and will still return! Great view from our 2nd floor balcony, little shower, but not a problem coz we're only little anyway. Food was brilliant - amazing buffet every evening, so much to eat that my Sis and I started sharing courses. All staff were so friendly, from Reception, to waiters, to the cleaners...all working very hard to give us a great time. Used the Spa (extra) every day - but so worth the price - great sauna. We even had coffee and cake in reception for our very early morning return home. We didn't make use of the Boot Room (lots did though), as we hired a locker up at the ski hire shop (Redival)... nearer for Ski Schools. We will definitely return....hopefully very soon. Thanks from the happy sisters

We just had the most amazing week, week 7, in Hotel delle Alpi in Passo Tonale, my 2 teenage daughters, son of 30 and myself! First impression when you arrive at the hotel is a nice and cosy reception area including lounge area and bar. The friendly bartender, Jasmine, makes beautiful and tasty drinks at good prices. There's a piano, where we had good times listening to Carlo playing and singing every day. All the staff and management are so nice. We stayed together in the Junior suite, so we could all be together. It's modern and has good closet space and a nice balcony overlooking the mountains (2nd floor). We slept well, both in the pull-out sofa and the beds. The double bed is 2 single beds pushed together, which was fine for us, but for a couple it would be nice with a king or queen bed, which I guess is an option in double rooms. It was a bit small for 4 persons, but it's what we chose and it was perfect for us, because we could be together all the time and have fun hanging out - even with only one bathroom. :-) The spa is nice and we used it several times. If I were to give recommendations for improvements there, it would be that the water temperature in both jacuzzi and pool could be higher. As well as the air temperature in the spa area and in the sauna. However, if it is due to the recommendation to save electricity, like we have in Denmark at the moment due to the world situation, it is fair and reasonable to be socially responsible. You can swim from the small pool directly into the small pool/jacuzzi outside. That's a special and wonderful experience, sitting outside looking at the mountains, relaxing after a nice day at the slopes. There was a wine celler, in which it was possible to have a wine tasting which we unfortunately didn't try since we prioritized skiing, relaxing and having dinner and there just wasn't enough time for more in our case. The dinner is a whole separate experience: it was wonderful! 5-6 courses og excellent Italian food as well as great service. We tried Italian dishes we never knew. First, there is a buffet of all kinds of vegetables, salats, fresh, steamed etc. Seafood salat, pies, small slices of pizza and more. Then you can order from the menu of the day. It was overwhelming. We loved the food and had great waiters. In general, the staff is so good and made a huge part in us having such a wonderful stay. You can sense that the staff is genuinely friendly and concerned with the guests having a good stay. It must be because they have a good working climate and good management, it comes across as if they do. They were relaxed and there was a familiar and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend you tip them, since they deserve it, even though I suspect many don't when they have paid for the food in advance. The breakfast was plenty, large selection. One proposal for improvement from us being used to and liking homemade bread is to improve on the bread, which was ok, but could be better. Also, the chee
