Breakfast super buffet everything delicious, and corresponds to the price-performance ratio, for dinner a restaurant VIVA CYPRUS is very RECOMMENDED nearby. Great location. In Paphos the buses are bad, please rent a car immediately, it's cheap 10-20 €/day... the taxis are expensive and they screw every pig... So please rent a car. Staff: I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are the best... Always helpful and very human... My wife did not feel well during the holiday and went to the hospital. They allowed me to take breakfast to go for my wife and a delivery box prepared for this... That was really great. Cons : the hotel is a bit old and the facilities need to be updated but that's easily ignored when you have such a great friendly staff. Sauna against 7€ extra which is also disadvantageous in my opinion. So in a big goose the hotel is very good and I book there again and again 😁. Greetings from Chaban family

We had a wonderful holiday here. the place is in front of the ocean, with nice gardens and an amazing pool that is temperature perfect! Our room was very big with nice amenities The wifi worked perfectly The breakfast was amazing I want to put forward the kindness and professionalism of the staff here: receptionists are super professional, cleaning staff is highly dedicated and the breakfast staff is incredibly nice (the gentleman that greeted us every morning) snd very organized. i was very impressed with the staff, they work hard to satisfy customers needs We liked it so much that we decided to extend our stay. The organization on our extension request was smooth and friendly We are clearly staying here again and can recommend this hotel to everyone. the prices are also very reasonable and the hotel offers excursions and visits! loved our stay - thank you!

Lovely 10 day stay, great restaurant choices, we particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean and Bacco. The staff at both were particularly attentive and so friendly with our boys (11m and 3yr). Great kids choices and nothing off limits for our baby, literally any combination of ingredients cooked however we liked and blended to any texture.. complimentary room service even if you didn’t want this at the restaurant. The kids club was the best we have experienced. Rachel runs the most professional and caring kids club and crèche. Heather, Rachel and Ramona were so great with our boys, it’s the first kids club our eldest has been happy to leave us, he spent the morning there everyday and one day even asked to go in the afternoon too! They have a soft play, did endless drawings, crowns, masks, cutting and sticking, and all the toys imaginable. The creche was also ideal, it has a limited capacity so was really calm, all the toys a little one could need and lovely cots for nap time. Everything is very hygienic, wiped down after the sessions use. The boys were just so happy to go everyday and it really did make a big difference to our holiday. We will definitely be going back for the kids club alone!

I am writing this review as my partner wrote another one completely accurate in April and just today got a response from the restaurant adding even more lies to the story. First of all I am no “escort”, I’m the partner of the person who wrote the review and as we wrote it together I must point out there wasn’t any kind of “miscommunication” and everything happened as she stated in her review. Second of all, the money was not the issue. My partner was the one who gave them the total amount of the bill without complaint, just so we could leave from that unwelcoming place, while I was still trying to have a conversation in Greek with the manager to clarify about why we had that charge of 16€ for “FOOD”, which we didn’t order. So once again they lied, this time about us not paying the bill. Third of all, I NEVER had a conversation with the manager accepting any other salad, I was only told that the mixed grill was going to take 20 minutes at the same time they brought the salad and bread, which in the menu was stated that it was included in the mixed grill, so we didn’t question it and there was no way for us to know they were bringing “gifts” (that we were then charged for obviously) or any other different or bigger amount of food (as they say) instead of what was included in the mixed grill that we ordered. Another lie they said in the reply to my partner’s review is that we were offered other extra stuff… For the record: we weren’t offered that extra halloumi that they mention nor they offered any “desserts on the house”. We are shocked and literally can’t understand why they keep on adding more and more lies to the story when nothing of that actually happened. It was a mistake from their side to not inform us about what they were bringing if it wasn’t what we ordered and then play fools when we asked what was the charge of the 16 extra euros for. We paid the amount and we never even mentioned we were not going to pay for it so we’re a bit confused of why and how they have the guts to lie also about that in the reply. We’re telling the story how it happened just for other people to not make the same mistake as us and also for the establishment to improve on this issue of not informing about what they are or are not serving as we know it has happened to more people and we’re not the only ones. We’re literally not asking for any compensation now and we also didn’t ask for it when it happened. If they think the problem was the money: it wasn’t. Our problem was never about how much to pay but what we were paying for and how they were (and still are) completely dishonest with the situation and with the way they tried to get more money from us without any logical explanation. But anyway we already reported them when it happened to the pertinent consumer and tourism department and from our side everything is clear. The only ones damaging the image of their so old and recognized business are themselves.

The experience in this hostel was horrible. It was dirty, it is very unsafe since at night they are allowed to have parties with people drinking, both from the hostel and guests of the clients. They partied until 3 or 4 in the morning without letting people sleep, there was no one to complain during the night. Obviously, in the morning we got up and everything was full of the remains of the party, drinks, dirty glasses... We complained to the hostel management, which has made us dizzy to this day, since they told us that we were leaving to return the money for the two nights we spent there and we have not received any response or compensation from her. I don't recommend it at all.

Overall it was a nice hotel with a good pool and the food was tasty. We were bed and breakfast and decided to eat in the main restaurant (katoi) for one of the nights. On the large restaurant booking screens we saw there was an a la carte menu with lots of reasonably priced meals (circa €15) so planned to have this. When we turned up they said there was only the buffet available (€33) which was quite expensive, but we couldn’t go anywhere else in the hotel as it all needed pre booking. The staff had never heard of this menu. When we checked in with our toddler we were hoping there would be a cot in the room already. There wasn’t so we called for one, which we were told would be right there. An hour later nothing had turned up, so we rang again and were told it would be there after we returned from dinner. When we got back there was a bed being set up which was totally unsuitable. We had to ring again by which time it was ages after her bedtime.

We have come back from a wonderful 10 days all inclusive holiday at this fantastic hotel. It is hard to know where to start, but I think I will start with the staff. Bear in mind we went from August the 13th -23rd, so towards the end of season. Ordinarily this is when exhausted staff are struggling to be enthusiastic. Not so here. Irene,Dimitrius, Andreaus (misspelt), Sara our housekeeping person, Aphrodite ... I could go on to every member of staff there. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, fun and helpful. Our son loved every second of his time and was well looked after as were we. The food was really good. Remember this is a 3 star hotel but the quality was very high. All inclusive is on a buffet basis and the theme changed every night. I loved the Cypriate and greek evenings but oriental was also good. Breakfast is very varied with something for everyone. The food is replenished constantly so no dried out eggs in site. The selection of drinks available in all inclusive is really good, but there is also a happy hour in the evenings so drinks not in the all inclusive are only €3.50 for a cocktail. The room was large and comfortable...and quiet. There is air conditioning at no extra charge. We took a media server with us so had a couple of movie evenings in the room as it was close to 40 degrees outside. There is a really well priced shop on site..again really friendly. There is live music or bingo most evenings. Kids are entertained by the energetic and very fun Eddie. Our son loved the table tennis, boulle, water polo and volley ball. Eddie also doubles up to do an evening music quiz. The hotel itself is lovely with a great restaurant, stunning views, lovely bars and lovely pools (one is for the executives that we didn't go in but looked nice). We did not have an issue getting a sun bed. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere, and housekeeping takes great pride in making sure every area is perfect. The hotel is on the sea, but it is a rocky area not sand. However it has a massive tidal pool that has fish swimming in it, and it is easy to swim out. The 615 bus takes you to coral bay in 10 minutes or Corralia bay (our preference) in 15 minutes if you like stunning beaches. It is also a short hop to Paphos and all the attractions there. Tombs of the kings is a highlight. We loved it here and will be back. What a find!

The most wonderful place to stay in Paphos. From the moment you arrive you are treated excellent from every member of staff. Very friendly, warm and polite and cannot do enough for you. We stayed last year and didn’t even consider going anywhere else this year as the hotel had everything you could possibly want… excellent food and choice from morning til night, great location all round, bus (cheap as chips) and very frequent. The room was absolutely amazing (even better than last year) with the maid coming in every day. Super clean in every part of the hotel and beautiful grounds. Have to say Agatha on the front desk is a real credit to the hotel going above and beyond so anything you need to know…. ask Agatha. Thank you to all the lovely and incredibly hard working staff, we had the best time ever and are already looking at dates for next year.

The overall impression is positive. Very convenient location, especially for those on the car: there is a parking, it is right on the big road. Inside there is a restaurant. We have a three-bedroom room paid for the ball, but no breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, as the cafe doesn't work, so we asked for a change instead of reimbursement. The room is clean, but furniture and repairs already require upgrades. The room has a stove, a teapot, a refrigerator, air conditioners working for heat. To the sea by car 5 minutes. The pool is clean but no one was swimming in it in the winter. On the other hand, several cafes and shops where you can buy food and cook in the room. Neighbours were a little noisy as they drank a lot and had fun, noise in rooms is bad. However, the rooms themselves are large enough . We had a combined room with a living room and one bedroom. Plus there was a beautiful balcony with a chic view.

We’re just about to head home at the end of a week-long stay at this really excellent hotel. Like others, we had our original holiday booking cancelled due to the CrowdStrike situation, so booked a stay here at the last minute - we have certainly not been disappointed with the “substitute” accommodation! This is a really classy hotel, in every way. From the warmth of the welcome as we checked in just after 11pm on our first night here, to the wonderful gestures like a bottle of champagne delivered to our suite a couple of nights before our departure, we’ve had a fabulous time. In our experience, guests here tend to be in the ‘more mature’ age bracket (like ourselves!), and from a range of nationalities - we’ve heard, English, German, Russian & Italian spoken this week, along with other languages. As other guests have said, the biggest strength of this hotel is its staff, whom we have found to be, without exception, calm, efficient, friendly and very much invested in doing the very best job possible. The food here is of great quality, and there’s a wide range of choices at every meal, even for those who have dietary needs for one reason or another. There are activities available throughout the day, but there is no pressure to take part if you’d prefer not to. Another very nice touch is that if, like us, your return flight is in the evening or even at night, the hotel makes available a suite for your use for the day, along with use of the dining facilities until the time of day when you checked in. This means that we’ve had a really pleasant last day here, rather than sitting around waiting for hours on end! We came here looking for a really relaxed and relaxing break, and that’s exactly what we’ve been able to enjoy here - we may well be back another time, and can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

We have just returned from our first trip to Cyprus and we can honestly say this hotel more than met our expectations . Location Might bother some but we liked it being a bit away from things . Even the bigger hotels that were on the sea front were a 30 minute walk to the harbour where as KJ was a nice 15 minute stroll to the harbour. We walked there and back several times in the evening no issues and only got a taxi once in the day due to heat ! Harbour is lovely , lots to do , eat and see , mall is a mall - nothing major in my opinion but worth and hour or so and has great air con . Walk from mall to harbour is also not difficult or long. Locally within 300yards of hotel there are pharmacies, little shops to get essentials if you forget anything , private DR If you need to see one . Bakery etc , anything you might need. Rooms and grounds Our room was dated but we booked knowing they are closing for update later this year . Room was a great size , cleaned daily. Aircon was great and room had everything you needed ( iron , kettle , fridge ) . Was perfectly adequate but can imagine once updated they will be incredible next year ! Couple thing to note no plugs by bed in our room and quite small amount of wardrobe space - didn’t bother us and I know other rooms had 4 wardrobes so might be worth considering adding more when referbing rooms ? Also no mini bar in room which is unusual at an AI resort - again not a deal breaker for us , bar was very close. Some areas had been updated already and looked fab . Main pool was lovely cooler in the morning but warm in afternoon and got sun all day , you did need to “ reserve” sunbeds but it’s peak season and everyone got a bed ( hotel staff will accommodate you if you don’t ) some guests did like to go on and on to anyone who would listen about the practice of reserving sunbeds but it really wasn’t a big issue everyone got a bed who wanted one . Pool toilets and shower’s were very good Food and drinks This is one of the highlights , food was amazing . I’m a very fussy eater but I didn’t struggle at all and I even ate meat which I never do away from home ! Food is fresh , great ingredients and clearly labelled etc . Great selection for vegetarian diets as well which is often lacking . Drinks menu was great , pool side service was a real treat -they worked so hard all day And finally …. The staff The highlight of the hotel - the staff can’t do enough for you from the minute to walk through the door and are a credit to this hotel . Smiles , good mornings , how are yous ? Do you need anything , can I help . You never walk past a staff member without being acknowledged or asked a question . George is such a hands on manger I’ve never seen anyone like him in a hotel . Everyday he is out with his staff working , helping them , checking in with his quests constantly. He does everything from emptying a bin to making eggs in the morning . You cannot beat a manager who leads by example and gets stuck i

GGuest UserFrom start to finish , could not fault anything with either staff or facilities to this hotel !! My mother & I visited for one week and the professionalism to Guest Relations , Anthoulla who could not do more . Any issues we had were corrected to the highest standard with operations manager Mr Yannas , his approach to nice and helpful to all . Robert in the Diner always with a helpful smile to Irinui at the pool bar - staff just exceptional . Management should be very proud of their wonderful team they have as hotel is definitely a 5 star PLUS . Our lovely member also Gabor the luggage porter , polite, approachable and nothing too much for him either !! This hotel I have to highly recommend and cannot wait to return !!

Very Good
GGuest UserWe have just returned from a great holiday at the Mayfair Hotel, Paphos 4th - 11th November 2023. There are 2 parts to the hotel, the Hotel and Gardens, both are located together in nice well kept grounds and with 3 outdoor and 1 indoor (heated) pool with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed in the Mayfair Hotel and room was spotlessly clean with Tea / Coffee facilities and a fridge which was ideal. Food was excellent with a great choice for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and there was also a dedicated section for Vegan and Vegetarian choices as well as the excellent selection of salads from the salad bar, there is a lovely outdoor dining terrace and staff are very attentive. The bar staff were friendly and with a great selection of drinks included within the All Inclusive Package and is worth the difference. There was a varied evening entertainment programme with some great live singers performing and the entertainment team had a programme of activities throughout the day. The spa was relaxing and well priced. Already looking at returning next November as weather was excellent and this is a great hotel choice, yes it is in a residential area but its only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront / harbour area and would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserHotel is in need of some maintenance. The building hasn’t been cared for at all, it’s really run down. Handles falling off, pictures not straight or falling off. AC not working , ceiling tiles damaged or water stained etc etc We found reception to be ok and helpful, but did have a problem with the extra (sofa bed) the mattress is literally a piece of foam about 2 inches thick. Not good if your anything older than a 7 year old. The room we had was huge and nice (apart from that sofa bed) I would not come back Thanks Martin Noisy kids in the pool at 22.30!!

GGuest UserRoom was confortable and clean. However, I had huge wifi signal issues in my room number 411 forcing me to step outside of my room to get a good connection, I have raised this up with the hotel management who did offer an alternative room (which I actually turned down because I arrived late at night) and who also promised to investigate this further with a telecom specialist. Future reviews from other guests will confirm if this issue has been fixed.

GGuest UserOnly stayed here for 4 nights but wish I booked more now. Breakfast: everything you needed for breakfast what was nice. Cater for everyone and the food was lovely. Only issue a member of staff took my plate whilst I was still eating what I find rude, not hard to communicate. Rooms: Check in is 2pm but can not exactly be on time because a couple next to us at the reception had to wait an hour. We only had to wait 10 minutes but still I think they need to be quicker or have more cleaner’s. 3 people had to check if our room was clean which was strange. The rooms were modern and good size and had everything we wanted. The beds were hard but we’re used to soft ones. When the cleaner cleaned our room she only gave us one towel to share between two people. It’s not rocket science. Pool: Plenty of sun beds and the service is great round the pool. Very polite staff. Looks onto the beach aswell. Location: if you don’t like walking I would recommend staying closer to paphos centre or there is a bus what’s goes in paphos. (615) We didn’t mind the walk at all, took 30 minutes and plenty of shops/bars/restaurants including mall.

Very helpful and accommodating. The accommodation is all you need for a holiday. Perfectly sized apartments, With all you need for a self catering holiday. Lovely comfortable beds which we were great to sleep of a night. Fantastic pool area with a huge supply of sunbeds spread around. Very near to the bar area. Located next to the bus terminal, gives you great access to get out and about very cheaply. Many great restaurants to choose from on the doorstep, makes this an ideal place to stay and would highly recommend. Many thanks Tas and the crew, we had a fantastic stay and will see you in October
