The hotel’s Melbourne beaches are quiet and a historic building. The hotel is small, probably less than 10 rooms, and very quiet. The key was placed at the door, and I stayed on my own. I only saw the owner when I had breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is ok. The overall feeling is slightly more expensive.

It was absolutely wonderful. The staff was nice. It was clean. It was ready by the time we got there and everybody was very helpful and the food was delicious.

The Manager, Kim Barton, was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and fresh smelling. We asked for extra towels and they were right there with them. Parking was easy and we felt very safe staying there. Great location for the events we went to down town. All within walking distance. Nice breakfast, Kim kept the bananas fresh and well stocked.

This hotel is horrible Management allowed its employees to be extremely disrespectful to many guests in our group. We were there for a baseball tournament from out of state for a week and had many rooms booked. When we approached Brett the GM about the issues, we were all told by the front desk if we didn’t like it then leave. This is how the Hilton allows their managers and employees to treat paying guest with children. The employees lied and he had no problem with another guest using foul language to antagonize one woman in our group. The manager had the nerve to call the police on our entire group when we wanted an explanation about their lies, hanging up on us when we questioned them. ! We all contacted corporate to file complaints . Corporate even spoke to Brett who refused to open the pool for us when they said he should. Unfortunately it all started when one of our babies had a swim diaper on and had an accident in the swim diaper while in the pool. The manager was telling guests Checking that our group was the reason the pool was closed and that was a lie. The pool was cleaned, shocked, and the water was tested and found to be fine. They just didn’t want to open the pool and admit they were rude and wrong. The GM was rude, raised his voice to a mom and other woman. Very very bad customer service!!!! Terrible place to stay.

This place is absolutely great! We had flew into Florida and our hotel and car rental were 3rd party and given away. So we were screwed. So we got a car at the airport and decided to drive to our location and see if we can find anything open. So we walked into the double tree and by the grace of God we got the last room for 3 nites. This was God's way of redirecting us for a much better vacation. We had the best time and the customer service was phanonaminal.. Alex was always helping and able to solve any issue we had with a frie dly smile and glad to help attitude.. He never missed a beat.. Daryl was great also. He was able to help us w any issue as well. House keeping were awesome to. This hotel runs smoothly because of the people that work here. I highly recommend staying here. I won't go to another hotel every again. I'm extremely happy with my stay .

We are so very thankful to be able to visit this Hilton beachfront hotel. The staff is amazing, friendly and we are always made to feel welcome. The hotel is clean and well taken care of, from the lobby to the elevators and the pool area. There is always someone cleaning and straightening to ensure a wonderful guest experience. The tiki bar food is great, and the Ocean Grill dessert is phenomenal. And the room, let's just say you'll have a great night sleep. Kudos to the Melbourne Beach Hilton team!

Do Not stay here if you are a travel team or traveling with a group of kids!!!  **We are not the 1st to have had this experience! Unfortunately,  we had booked before we saw the negative review by another team.   We visited this hotel this summer traveling with our baseball team. Our team has no idea why Brenda  offered this hotel for our stay, when clearly it was not a kid friendly hotel. We booked about 12 rooms months ahead of time, and clearly stated it was a family baseball travel team that would be staying here. We have experienced traveling together as a team for  years now and had never had such poor treatment before. Rules or waivers should have been given to one adult per guest room prior to our booking , not to just one parent to sign  on behalf of the entire team, and after the fact that we had checked in and had begun to experience negative actions by the hotel. In the past , if we received such a waiver, it was prior to a booking and especially before check in. Not while you are already a guest and can not cancel your stay without penalty.   Our bad experience had to do mainly with how poorly the staff resolved our issues, making us feel unwelcomed at this hotel. We had no where to congregate and enjoy the evening with friends. Past 10pm, we could not be in the lobby nor in the dining/conference area, we could not be outside in the pool area whether you were in or out of the pool. We are families traveling with our children for vacation and baseball tournaments. After a day at the park , we wanted to enjoy time together,  dinner , and conversations together, but we could not do this here.   One factor when traveling as a team , we must accommodate budgets, which is a reason why we stayed here. To keep costs down, our team  likes to gather and bring food to eat together or celebrate, and at this hotel we were either rushed out of the common area or could not stay past 10pm. That's not so easy when you have teenage boys excited about winning games, celebrating birthdays and vacationing together.   We parents really tried to make it work for our boys, but this hotel is not where you want to bring your team . We spent our nights in the parking lot gathering, while our kids played organized games outside. The police were called on us more than once either by hotel staff  or guests, but the police patrolled and never came to break our gathering outside nor did they find the boys to be doing anything wrong. They allowed us to continue congregating outside, as this hotel did not allow us inside other than in our rooms. How demeaning to all of us who are guests of this hotel, to resort to gathering in a parking lot.   Many parents like myself were upset and we tried speaking to Brenda who booked this stay for us, but she was only to be found a day or 2 before we left from our week stay, and was there at the times we were not , due to our boys' games. Brenda had an unpleasant call with our team mom, blaming us as a whole for not abiding

Stayed here a few nights at the start of a fortnight break as the airport isn’t too far & it offered a shuttle service for drop off & collection… Hotel was great, simple but absolutely met our needs, provided a good range for breakfast, had a nice pool & rooms were really well presented & comfortable with good facilities. Met a member of staff called TJ, an absolute gent, provided information on good places to eat, great beach locations & made a real fuss of our children, this man could not have done more to accommodate my family make us feel welcome…. Then we met Jayla….. ignorant, rude, disrespectful to my mother in law. It is my understanding that as a receptionist in a hotel your are a facilitator, you take care of a guests needs. They forget a toiletry you facilitate, they need to know how to get some where or need a cab, you facilitate… I don’t think I’ve ever had someone roll there eyes or tut at me before, both of which were done to my mother in law in my presence, this was particularly frustrating because at that moment, the request was to book the shuttle service to the airport later that day, the very reason we selected that particular hotel as our hire car was being returned that morning… Hotel & facilities were great, TJ absolutely made our stay but, in terms of other staff members, namely Jayla, some serious training is required for customer relations!!!

The front desk staff, in particular Paulette, went out of their way and deserve special recognition for their work and efforts. Excellent communication and customer service! The hotel itself is showing its age. Attention to detail would help. Hair conditioner was mounted next to the bathroom sink instead of lotion. The insert on the bathroom door was missing. Towel edges were frayed. Bed sheets were ill fitting. We were a little nervous of the area when we pulled in. The hotel itself is towards the end of a dead end, across from a lot that appears to store RV’s , cars and trucks….in a rather industrial area right off the interstate. We did not have any problems though. The location also lent itself to being very close to multiple eateries and a Publix. Not too far away. We were suprised to find a chaise lounge instead of a couch in our room, so the seating was limited in the room also. The breakfast was mundane. All three days it was cheese omelets, sausage and the last day potatoes were added. Oatmeal and waffles were always available. No fresh cut fruit but apples and sometimes bananas. The computer is located in the small breakfast eating area. It did not work for the three days we were here, we were told they were waiting for the contractor to come in and see what was wrong. We used the fitness room… there is a treadmill, exercise, bike, elliptical, weights, and a peloton. It was very stuffy in there, I was told they turn down the air when it gets cool at night, and sometimes forgot to turn it back on in there. Upon request, it was turned on and fine.
