Okayama Plaza Hotel Reviews

Location is nice. Right next to korakuen garden and Okayama castle. The hotel is very dated and the rooms even more. Fine for a night but wouldn’t recommend staying long.

Close to the park and castle

It is an older hotel, but it is very clean. It is only a 5-minute walk from Okayama Korakuen. You can park your car in the hotel parking lot and walk there. There is no congestion on urban roads. Overall, it is very good.

The air conditioning was just right and the bed was comfortable. We could see Okayama Castle from the room, so it was a great trip. My mother-in-law was very happy and said she wanted to stay again.

The location is slightly remote and can only be reached by bus, which leaves at least every 30 minutes! There are no special facilities, just rooms, not many guests, very quiet! Fortunately, there are two convenience stores nearby and a few restaurants, but they won’t be open too late! The room is comfortable and not too small!

A seemingly high-end hotel, but the real side is very dilapidated. The old-fashioned decoration and furnishings are not a problem, the problem is that it is too cruel! There are many stains on the carpet, the pipes are covered with dust, there is a puddle of dried mucus next to the sink, and the toilet has black stains. I have never seen such a dirty toilet in Japan. The breakfast was even worse. At 10:00 in the morning, when we arrived at 9:00, there was not much food left. There was only one fried egg left, many plates had been emptied, and there was no staff and no refill! The food can't fit into a nine-square breakfast plate! This breakfast is 1600 yen per person!
