The hotel is conveniently located. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We used the spa but not the gym. Both were well equipped and maintained. Good for relaxing after the journey. There was no evening dining as it was a Sunday but that had been well signposted beforehand so we were able to arrange an alternative. Staff were very helpful and professional at all times. Would not hesitate to rebook.

Ideal location for me to walk into town for shopping and eating out. Staff were excellent from reception to house keeping. Room service meals were good too
Was a little disappointed as the bath was in need of replacing. The surface had peeled away and whilst it was ok for the shower, you wouldn't want to soak in it.

Pretty much almost Travelodge excellence get a proper AC system instead of the awful tiny fan like most of the Travelodges I’ve been to and you’ll be a 100% in my book.
Other then no AC I can’t fault the place

My husband and I have just returned from an overnight stay in this hotel. It must have been recently decorated as it is so clean and fresh everywhere. Our room was huge, with a super-king size bed comfortably accommodated within it. Lovely comfortable bed and clean bedding, and a bottle of water provided for each of us. There were tea and coffee making facilities; very welcome after a trek up and down to the castle! The bathroom was well-appointed, modern and clean. We had a view over the adjacent church, and although a footpath passed by we were not disturbed at all. The hotel is well-placed to visit the city, and there is a car park just round the corner. The parking fee is reduced if you verify your parking ticket at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Cock and Hoop next door doesn’t serve meals on a Sunday evening, but it didn’t matter as there is a range of restaurants within a few minutes walk. The building itself is old, and very interesting with steps up and down all over the place. Very attractive and quirky. Our breakfast was delicious. I have only one small issue. There is no plug near a mirror for using a hairdryer or hot brush, but that doesn’t detract from the score.

This is our second time staying at a Leonardo hotel. Reception were amazing!! Very helpful and informative about transport links and general sight seeing.
Breakfast was not as good as the Leonardo I. Milton Keynes. Their fruit selection was a little poor, however the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The bath in the room is the smallest one I have ever seen 😂 Albeit the power of the water in the shower and taps is 👌🏽 and quite possibly the best I have seen.
Over all, a nice hotel! The beds are very comfortable and will rival any premier bed.
We will defo be staying again 😍

We had arranged a weekend with friends in Nottingham and had booked 2 rooms. First morning the housekeeping staff came as we were leaving, for the day out we had planned. When we returned we expected our room to have been serviced, no towels at all in the room and no made bed. Nothing on the tea/ coffee tray had been replenished. When we rang reception to get some towels no one answered so after a long day we had to go down to reception to get them to get us some towels, after waiting nearly 5 mins while the reception staff ignored us we were told someone would bring us some towels. Next morning our friends went down to breakfast early before us, to be told it wasn’t included in the room - it was, and rather than check the booking they were very rudely told that they couldn’t have breakfast. They were not even offered the option to pay for a breakfast. They ended up going elsewhere for breakfast much to our embarrassment after we had arranged the weekend and booked the room. After speaking with reception they confirmed that breakfast was included and gave us a card saying we were entitled to breakfast - much use that is as our friends had already gone and had breakfast elsewhere and we were not offered a refund on our booking.

It’s very convenient to live in Mercury Hotel to plan a tour in Nottingham. Regarding the excellent location, I can only take 1-minute walk to the tram station named Lace Market, it takes you to Beeston or remote retail outlets within couple of minutes. Also, I takes leisure walks within few minutes to city centre for shopping at M&S, Primark, Victor Centre, etc. Besides, you may never forget supports/advice from the enthusiastic and knowledgeable hotel teams.
The Mercure Nottingham Sherwood is perfectly positioned for leisure trips and city breaks. The hotel is just over a mile from Nottingham City Centre, so you can get there in less than 10 minutes by car. Interiors are inspired by the city's historic Lace Market, today a retail and dining destination. Head to the onsite gym or unwind in the heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Hungry? Head to the hotel's bar-restaurant for delicious dinner and drinks options in a relaxing setting.

GGuest UserWhat a find ! I was looking for somewhere handy for some work I had locally and found this great little place. Perry and Paul (hope I got your names right !) are so friendly and helpful. I was told 5pm for check in but they were so accommodating when I asked if I could check in earlier. The room was clean and had all the mod cons I needed - including strong wi-fi for my work. I was leaving before breakfast (starts at 0730), but Perry couldn't do enough for me and she rustled up a lovely bacon sarnie for me to take away in the morning. I'll definitely be back when work brings me to the area again.
GGuest UserI came to the Crown Plaza, Nottingham for a conference early June. The hotel itself was nice, modern and comfortable. My room was not adequately cleaned as there were hairs in my shower upon arrival, unreplenished hygiene products in the bathroom and the toilet uncleaned. The room Itself was small, but fine for sleeping in. My TV did not work, but as it was one night this wasn’t a bother. The breakfast and lunch were great, formal dinner however was awful and poor, not worth paying for. Servers were unversed in allergen training, and the allergen and dietary requirement food options were awfully poor. The manager on duty however, was apologetic and wonderful. The best thing about this hotel was the staff (excusing F&B teams poor allergen training and food options). Particularly Abigail, Malakai and Zak on the bar who were so warm, polite and accommodating. Wonderful service throughout and a credit to the team. Thank you three.
GGuest UserAn amazing stay at the doubletree!! We love this hotel, the best place to stay in Nottingham. We spent several evenings in the hotel bar, Robin and LJ were always willing to look after us, give recommendations, and go the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. We will definitely be back!!
GGuest UserJust returned from 2 night stay at Delta Marriott belfry. Overall a poor experience and would not recommend. Starting with a few positives: Good location for access Rooms clean and well equipped Breakfast is good with wide selection Negatives are many: Hotel pool can only be used by kids from 10am to 6pm with zero flexibility if arrive after 6 and kids want a quick swim. Mixed messages from staff regarding swim times with no regard for customer service. Hotel Restaurant food is really poor quality and extremely expensive. Eg We waited 1h 15 min for our food which on arrival was cold and the steak overcooked and like leather!
GGuest UserRecently stayed here for the 1st time due to having a night away and it being close to amenities and next to the train station. We checked in and the staff were lovely and polite. Our room was lovely and clean with an en-suit and a good selection of drinks the pillow was a little hard but I'm not complaining as I still had a good nites sleep. We came down for breakfast and choose to pay additional cost for a full english which was cooked perfectly the staff were lovely attentive and polite. It does have a few stairs to climb to certain rooms so this could be a disadvantage to some but it didn't bother us we will definitely stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserLovely hotel. Great buffet breakfast. Lovely friendly staff on the desk. Executive king room was lovely and cleaned and replenished every day. Happily stay there again. One issue was parking as hotel car park was unavailable but an NCP car park is on the doorstep to use at a discounted rate but still worked out very expensive for 3 days. Would still not put me off staying there again.
GGuest UserStayed for two nights on a dbb meal on the first night included hotel has had a full refurbishment which is lovely our room was nice and big and bathroom full walk in shower I was a bit concerned before we went at some reviews about the rooms but i needed have worried also people were complaining about the restaurant saying they waited a long time for there food but we didn’t experience that Carrie and Lucy looked after us very well in fact we ate there the second night to the only criticism we had was my husband had the sirloin steak the first night which he said was excellent but the second night he had it again but it was tough and not as tasty when asked if we enjoyed our food we told Lucy the steak was tough and not as good as the night before to which she replied it was a different chef which should’ve have made that difference also no mushrooms at breakfast which apparently they don’t use which I find most strange as they are always a breakfast item , but it wouldn’t stop us recommending the hotel the offer we had was very good value and staff very friendly.
顾顾盼轻歌The hotel location is very convenient, just six or seven minutes away to the centre of Nottingham. There is a big Asian supermarket directly opposite the hotel, and the city rail station is next to it. It can be said that it is very convenient for travel. The rooms and bathrooms are quite large and it is quite good.
Stayed here with my wife and 8 week old baby in July 2024 for 4 nights. We stayed in a Junior suite room (The Viscount room). First off - The room is massive and has plenty of character including 3 huge sash windows. This particular room was a little tired; some marks on the carpet and missing handles on some drawers, however it was spotless! Perfectly cleaned on arrival. The staff couldn't do enough for you. This was the best part of the stay. No request seemed too much and was always received with a genuine smile. The housekeeping was great and the room was always immaculately cleaned each day. We had breakfast included in our booking and actually stayed during a crossover period from a buffet to an a la carte, so got to experience both. We personally preferred the buffet, but both styles were great with quality ingredients!
GGuest UserWe stayed for two nights to attend a concert. The room was reasonably clean and had everything for a short stay- kettle, tea and coffee etc, tv, dressing table with chair, wardrobe, bedside drawers, telephone, free Wi-Fi, plenty of plug sockets inc two usb sockets. Hand wash in bathroom had run out but we had shower gel provided. The mirrors could have been cleaner, and there were some stains on the walls. However, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the room was airy and surprisingly quiet. Free parking. Friendly and helpful manager and staff- happy to call a local taxi for you if required. Ideal location with a well served bus stop outside to take you into the city (£2 contactless payment). Lidl store opposite, alongside a great chippy, and a good family pub. No breakfast provided but hot food from outside allowed to be taken to rooms. For those with realistic expectations looking for a cheap overnight stay (we paid £49 a night) this is a good choice. Would definitely stay again, many thanks!
