We had a lovely stay here! The family is so welcoming and always had a chat with us. The room was big and very clean with an excellent view out of the window! The internet was very good- I was able to online work fine. At nighttime it was very quiet and I slept very very well! Would 100% recommend!

The hotel was clean and modern, with friendly staff and excellent amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and attractions. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The owner gave me a ride to the train station on the last day, loaned me a bicycle, helping me to arrange a tour of Mua Caves - and also gave me free "happy water" (rice wine on the house!). Clean comfortable room, central location, warm friendly staff. I'd come back.

AMAZING!! First home stay in our 8 weeks of travelling as a couple & wow, we will be staying in them a lot more. This place was so so homely, we absolutely loved it. Huge rooms, the sweetest family run hotel, would do us a taxi or provide motorbike at the smallest cost. I couldn’t recommend high enough! 10/10 👍🏼

Definitely a good place for all the backpackers and small group travelers with an affordable price . We booked a deluxe twin room with balcony and the room was really nice. Definitely recommend you to choose this hotel. No lost.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Friendly Home Hotel. A heartwarming family-run business where even the kids speak English. The warm smiles and yummy food, including the extra fruit desserts, made it a delightful experience. Perfect for solo travelers too!

This hotel is nice, cheap and clean

A good place to stay. The owners are English speaking and were very helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and are absolutely spotless. My only criticism was the lock on my door. It wasn’t working properly and I had difficulties accessing the room on several occasions.

A family business. I truly felt at home.

The name "Friendly" is not in vain, I have felt extremely comfortable and treated with friendship. It is a family-run hotel. Everyone is very attentive and cordial, the treatment is excellent, very close. At the same time, they are extremely professional, they know very well what they do. The room was very clean and perfectly equipped with everything imaginable. There are mosquito nets for the summer, there is a stove in the bathroom for showering in winter, air conditioning, fan, television, multiple lighting options, safe... All possibilities were thought of. I was surprised that there were sockets in every corner, for example there would be no problem choosing a suitable place to use the phone while charging with a short cable. There was also a sewing kit available that I used to repair my clothes, always very appreciated. I also used the laundry service. At Friendly Home they are also tour guides and organize group trips around the area and other places. I did not use this option, partly due to prior ignorance, partly because I was an individual traveler. If you want this option, I recommend contacting them before traveling, I'm sure they can suggest some possibilities. In my case, I chose to rent one of their bicycles, which was ideal as an individual traveler to be able to visit the places that interested me at my own pace (I mainly wanted to see the mountains and rice fields, but I was not interested in river routes ). So I was in several spectacular places where there were hardly any tourists. The bike had a phone holder, which was great for using the GPS navigator without taking your hands off the handlebars or having to stand. They have their own maps of the most touristic areas where the recommendations are summarized very well. In Ninh Bình everything is closer than it seems, but at the same time there is no public bus system, so these maps are very useful for planning our ideal route based on our interests. I left Ninh Bình on a night train and was offered the possibility of keeping the room for several hours of the day at a discounted price, which was very useful as it allowed me to freshen up before starting the trip. I was completely right when choosing my accommodation in Ninh Bình. 100% recommended, I will keep pleasant memories.
