My cousin’s ancestral home is Dongqian Lake, but he is now in Shanghai. The child is going to elementary school, and the family is going back to their hometown to play. This is a newly opened hotel with a very good location. As a Dongqian Lake person, I usually drive by and always look back. I booked two nights and could see Dongqian Lake directly through the window. I booked a lake view room. When I consulted the hotel, I was told that the lake view room only had a 2-meter bed. Since we are a family of three (the child is 7 years old), I booked an extra crib. Unexpectedly, after the guest arrived, he made it clear that he did not need an extra bed. It was already past 10 o'clock at night. The extra bed was cancelled, but the bed was not removed. When checking out, I found that the extra breakfast coupon for the extra bed had been used (the child was just over 1.2 meters tall). After explaining the situation, no extra bed fee was charged, nor was the booked extra bed breakfast fee. Very personal service. Absolute five-star service!

Xiao Ning at the front desk was very thoughtful and meticulous, and upgraded me to a room with a terrace, which is by the river. Xiaoning helped me carry my luggage all the way to the room on the second floor. Thanks for your hard work! The terrace is very spacious and has a panoramic view of the water and mountains. Have a drink with the beautiful view, it’s so beautiful! The bedding is very comfortable and the baths are all from Bvlgari. I also like the gallery of the hotel very much. The paintings are brought back by the owner from European auctions. They are very tasteful. The pasta and wine eaten at the hotel's own ”Rong” restaurant for dinner happened to sit in a position with a view, and the mouth was delicious and the eyes were moist. The waiter was very attentive, delivered mosquito repellent water, and even took pictures of me as a diner. The location is superb, just at the entrance of Hanling Old Street, across the street from Hanling Art Museum and Dongqian Lake. There are dedicated parking spaces and there is no charge. In short very satisfied!

I visited Ningbo for the 1st time and had a nice time. This property is very well kept, clean and wonderful customer service. Unfortunately they had to close the indoor swimming pool, and that was a bit disappointing as I came prepared to swim, but understandable. Overall, I will be back for sure.Thank you for a good stay! This is a very pleasant little bed and breakfast located on the southern end of Dongqian Lake and in the tourist village Hanling. We stayed there for a weekend getaway. The accommodation we booked had two floors: the groundfloor had a sofa and a huge television (it's capable mobile phone broadcasting!) and the top floor featured a good size double bed and a balcony which I enjoyed sitting in when the sun sets. The rooms are clean and you get the usual amenities. So it's a fine place.
I would recommend two improvements: the first is to have stronger aircon on the top floor to keep the room cool (albeit it was 40C outside!); and secondly but most importantly would be to install a bathroom door for some privacy otherwise your room mate is going to see you using the toilet!

May 1 took the baby to Dongqian Lake to play, went to the ”Ningbo Golf Hotel” to take the children to stay in the original two breakfasts, the waiter learned the situation and specially for us to win a breakfast. The next day I went to the nearby Hanling Old Street. The waiter reminded me that Hanling Old Street was nearby, and it was only ten minutes walk, and parking there was not convenient. She suggested that my car park in the hotel parking lot.
Walk to Hanling Old Street, crowded with people, there is no parking at all, thank you very much for the warm reminder of the hotel, thank you very much for listening to the hotel, the car did not drive past, and went shopping for a day, the car did not mention it at night, the hotel did not charge a penny, for the hotel service point 👍, I have already told all my friends, Next time I come to Dongqian Lake, I will stay at this hotel.

This is the best hotel experience I've had in recent years. There are welcome cakes, fruits, and minibars for free during the May Day holiday, and special snacks for midnight snacks. Breakfast includes staple food and buffet, and children's breakfast is free. The location is also unique, closer to the lake than Cordis. The mattress is also moderately hard, and I slept soundly. Definitely recommend!
