All the staff are kind and friendly. I appreciate it very much. Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator, and the room was kept very clean, but on the second day I woke up with itching in the middle of the night, and when I checked it, I was bitten by an insect. There were about 2 spots, so I didn't worry about it that much, but on the 3rd night, I had blisters here and there and it's still itchy... The bathroom was clean, so I don't know why... I checked the room once. I would like you to

I booked 4 rooms at this hotel and booked the restaurant for 8 people I also arranged for another 2 rooms for friends I was checked in by Shannon in the evening, she was very professional and made check in very easy for us, Thank You I was shocked to find out that we had to pay for our 2 cars to park at the hotel We paid £130 a room so it wasn’t that cheap at all I did check the price on line at the hotel that evening and it was £127 so I thought that as we paid £130 it included parking That is not the case as everyone has to pay the £3 so I paid for the 2 cars I also spent £300 at the hotel restaurant but that only lets you park 3 hours We always stay at this hotel a few times every year and also arrange other peoples rooms as well Not anymore as I will now book elsewhere for me and my friends Nicole Shea

Room was ok. Check in was poor. Being given a key to someone's else room! Walked into a couple were sleeping! The couple who we woke up were not even checked in properly, awful for us but even worse for them. One staff member didn't have a clue what was going on as they had to go check another room as they were unsure what rooms were even available. Really poorly organised, upsetting and lack of sympathy/ care. I wouldn't recommend this place unless needing a night stay desperately.

My family and I stayed here for one night as we were passing through heading ultimately to Newcastle. We messaged a head and made them aware that my youngest son was having a birthday whilst we stayed there and they had a card and some sweets laid on the bed for him which was a really nice touch. The room itself was nice and comfy and set up for my wife and I and our 2 boys (14 & 12). The room was big enough for us all. The only issue is that the hotel doesn’t have air con in the rooms, this meant 4 showers later the room was boiling hot and unbearable. The fan unfortunately just wasn’t enough. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it to people. We loved it and my son absolutely loved the little gifts

We decided to have a last-minute overnight stay here on Sunday, having stayed before. I noticed on the website that a £3 charge ( not £8 as someone else has said).had been introduced for 24 hours parking. On arrival, it wasn't overly clear where the pay machine was but found it by the entrance to reception. No milk available at reception to top up what was in the room, kindly directed to a local shop by the lovely young lady on reception. Our room (3) was very nice. Adjacent restaurant nice although I think they were short staffed on Sunday evening.

Hotel was lovely as they always are,we had breakfast in the beefeater it was horrible, items missing, items cold,no juice, no spoons and miserable staff who didn't even acknowledge you!we definitely won't be using beefeater if we ever stayed at the hotel again. It wasn't just us there were many people complaining about the service.

two nights from 13th oct, check was quick, even though the swipe was playing up the lady in reception soon sorted it, in my room under five minutes. room was spotless and well lit.always a good bed at these hotels, might invest in one of there mattresses. showering can be a little problematic if you have big feet or a mobility problem,as the bath is narrow and high sided.all in all had a good nights sleep. used the restaurant for one evening meal and two breakfast's,the mixed grill for the price charged was very good, apart for one item, breakfast excellent if you ignore the thick skinned poor quality sausage and bacon. all the staff i encountered were pleasant and efficient considering that these days they all have to multi task.

Excellent location for the town & showground. Really friendly, helpful staff. Great restaurant next door. The room was clean & spacious. The meal deal was excellent value for money and the food was great. Lots of things to do in Newark, which is close by. The town is easy to get around & parking is plentiful. Aviation museum is well worth a visit.
